DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST WEBTOONS.
I can guarantee, that if you want or plan to watch this, you will love it! The fluff plot alongst the angsty moments, it all combines into a very great series. I personally loved this one, finishing it in one sitting actually, and i would definitely rewatch this when i miss it.Every episode was exciting, not expecting what would happen and you'll just get surprised! It is a wise choice that i watched this after it's done!
With the actors and actresses. I'll just focus on Doyeon and Minkyu as they got the main role. It was perfect! The emotions and the natural expressions they gave out were outstanding! For two rookie artists, they could definitely compete with senior actors. I originally came because i stan weki meki and Doyeon is a part of that group, and also Stray Kids sang the ost, but deep inside, i deeply fell inlove with Minkyu, like a lot! I was so gay for him AAAAHHH1
For the music, again, you couldn't go wrong on a series where Stray Kids sang the ost. The lyrics are very great, and the usage of edm isn't much, hence, making it comfortable to listen to it. And oh my gosh Felix deep voice! It was also nice that they put Day6's Chocolate in few episodes! Clearly wasn't expecting that.
As a conclusion, Pop Out Boy is definitely worth watching and spending your time. Hope this webdrama gets popular!

Average Web Drama
This is a cute, short web drama that is a great weekend time-sucker. The acting was pretty decent and comedic at times and all the actors are eye candy, especially the lead male (still, I had second lead syndrome). But even so, I felt that the plot was pretty mediocre and has been done many many times, nothing special. So I was never really engrossed in the story. It may be because each episode is only 15 minutes and there are only 10 episodes, but I felt pretty disconnected from most of the characters. In fact, I was not really compelled to watch every episode but I forced myself to finish it. Therefore, I cannot give it a higher rating.Was this review helpful to you?

Pop out cuteness!
I liked it and had fun while watching but I have to admit that I've watched better web dramas than this one. I also have seen this concept before and I feel like it was better developed in those shows. Besides, there were quite some inconsistencies within the show. One day the kids wore their high school uniform to school, while other days they didn't. Also, somehow every character lives alone while still being in high school & almost every parental is absent from the screen. I also think that Ina my girl deserved better. However, the FL's best friend was a mood and she was the best aspect of this drama in my opinion. She also did what I wanted to do which was giving the ML a haircut, lol. It's funny though that the only adult we see is the woman with short red hair who is like a multi talent since she isn't only the art teacher and the hairdresser but also the photographer. Lol, we stan a multi talented woman. Oh and even my fake tears are more real than FL's cry sessions in this drama. And the bubble tea love in this one was just everything. I wanted to watch the second season if it airs someday!
At first i thought that I would not like the mini series but after watching the 1st episode of this series i felt myself getting drawn into the series....it has such a nice story and it is worth watching...i liked the lead characters very much..namwook and seoonyu,minjun and yeonju too...i loved thier chemistry in it..i am getting curious as to who came with namwook in the last scene of the series...i wish there is a 2nd season for it....i love it very much .if the 2nd season airs i will watch it without hesitating ,and now that i have seen that miniseries are so much fun ..i am looking forward to watching them from now on,i loved the actor who portrayed the character of chon namwook in the series he is so tall and handsome,saranghae chon namwookshiWas this review helpful to you?

Cute webtoon
Need a break from angst, Asian cliches, extended number of episodes, evil girlfriend wannabes? This was a very cute, short show. It's a show to watch to cleanse your palate before moving onto something deeper and more substantial. I enjoyed all the actors, especially the perky best friend played by Han Ji Hyo. Even the potential girlfriend wannabe was funny. There were so many purposely cringy moments, as well as numerous laugh out loud moments. Pop-Out Boy did have more potential than the one Playlist worked with: I think the relationship between the friends could've been developed and showcased a lot more, and that would make the drama funnier and even more interesting. Basically, if it had been focused on the 4 of them instead of mainly the main couple, the friendship wouldn't feel so flat. It was hard for me to care for them has a "whole package" when 90% of the episodes is mostly about Nam Wook. The romance was ok - I've seen worst, with less chemistry, and I've seen better, with more realism. As for pacing, it was okay most of the time.
I was very surprised with the main cast! Doyeon's performance was incredible, I had never seen her acting before but, of all 4, I think I'd place her in the second, right before Hyun Wook's performance! Mingyu had his awkward moments here and there, which the cheesiness of his character helped create, but for a first drama it isn't unbearable. I also knew Ji Hyo from her reality show and was smitten by her.
That ending was so promising, it makes me sad to think Playlist won't continue the drama's legacy.... Overall, Pop Out Boy is okay, perfect to binge!

light web series for a stressful day
●HOW I CAME TO ITCame across this web series under the recommendation of W two worlds.
●STORY
ML pops out from the comic book when the FL reads out a line from the comic book. He realizes that he is in another world and asks help from FL to go back.
●PLOT VIEW
This is a really cliché plot have seen it a lot of times, only difference is comic book world. The weird Nam Wook magic made the most cliché scenes, which sometimes felt ugghhh. But over all this drama is fun. There is lots of friendship bonds which charmed me.
●ACTING/CAST
Everyone was nice and fine.
I liked choi hyun woo playing Noh ye joon. His character had a depth and gave a very amazing performance.
●MUSIC
BGM was fine with the scenes. Hello Stranger OST by Stray Kids was fresh and upbeat flowing uniformly with the series.
●REWATCH
It can be rewatched. Its short sweet and fluffy. Its perfect for a stressful day
●APPRECIATION
The wonderful cast, the actors were so unique that it feels they have just come out of the comics

Lighhearted sweet comedy
Watch this without any high expectations and that could be the reason i enjoyed this drama a lot. Another plus point is the short length of the drama thus no draggy scenes. The pacing was just nice and there were indeed a few funny scenes. Glad there is no annoying thirs wheel. Acting is still quite raw but not cringey and the leads look good together. This is recommended if you are looking for a sweet relaxing watch and a drama that reminds you of your youth fantasy. Hope there is a season 2 of this drama. I hope more romantic comedy can follow similar route of making it short and sweet. I can't stand draggy stuffs especially when there is nothing much to look forwards to.Was this review helpful to you?
SEASON TWO WHEN
my expectations were not high nor low but wow, what did i just watch ???i really enjoy watching a drama with good osts since everything becomes a little bit more exciting knowing and liking the songs from the drama you're watching and i think that was the only thing i didn't enjoy from this, the osts !
skipping that part, let's talk about the actors and actresses. this webdrama's cast was incredible, i already knew kim doyeon and choi hyunwook since he's one of my favourite actors and she's one of my favourite idols and then i also knew minkyu because he used to be the show's mc alongside juyeon and sihyeon and i had always seen him as a sweet boy and this drama confirmed it to me. the rest of the cast, han jihyo and im bora, were also amazing ! they're super cute and funny, i enjoyed seeing them in all of the scenes they appeared and i really liked how im bora's character wasn't a bully all the time.
the ending was great but it ended as if there will be a second season coming since things were not clear enough.
in conclusion, i really recommend this drama, i watched it in 5 hours and i did not get bored in one single minute.

Cute and quick watch
I ended up binging this series in an evening, oops.The storyline was really unique and I ended up watching it after seeing a recommendation on tiktok.
Kim Doyeon is one of my many girl crushes in kpop so I have to admit that I am a little biased when it comes to the rating of the cast.
I’m not gonna add a spoiler since it’s stated in the tags but I’m reeeeeally not a fan of love triangles, which I didn’t really look up before watching this series. So I wouldn’t really recommend if you find love triangles unbearable to watch but otherwise it’s really worthwhile with cute friendships and just a cute overall vibe.
However I wouldn’t rewatch it since I don’t think the magic is there the second time.

It was like any other kdrama, the story was really interesting, Ive never seen something like it. I felt like something was missing, it maybe because the episodes were 13-20 minutes long and it was only 10 episodes long. I wanted to connect to the characters more, they didn't give enough detail about the characters and the episodes seemed a little rushed (?) i LOVED the cast though doyeon and minhyuk represented the characters perfectly and their acting was amazing. The music was AMAZING straykids produced the op and sounded sooo good, i would constantly play hello stranger (the song' name) everywhere and i have that song in literally every spotify playlist. I wold rewatch this drama, its quick, and i cried a lot during the last two episodes lol.Was this review helpful to you?
