Shin Ha Kyun as Kim Soo Young was a treat to watch, and this was my first time seeing him act. He has a winning smile and nice eyes - but he looked so much cuter and age appropriate for Lee Min Jung as Noh Min Young once he got his new look just over halfway through the drama. It took years off his looks and upped his attractiveness quite a bit! :) Lee Min Jung was great as always. I believe that little sneer she does must be a real thing and not totally an act because she used it quite a bit in Cunning Single Lady as well. She is one of my few favorite Korean actresses. The two together created some good chemistry, and they had lots of cute couple moments.
My only critiques (besides the politics - which really aren't bad if you are into that sort of story) would have been that I didn't like some of the "cartoon" music that was played. (But the main theme song was very pretty and I enjoyed it a lot. Wish they had had more music like that.) I think that was supposed to add something comedic, but it sort of seemed cheesy to me. The second is that I would have liked a better ending for the show. The ending was good, but I think it could have been better. And lastly, the second female lead was kind of pushy and annoying after a while. I thought she was cute at first, but her doggedness began to wear. Thankfully, she never descended into a true villain, though.
Overall, this is a very cute and fluffy comedic romance. I don't feel it gets too sappy or sad, and the leads were a joy to watch. Although, I probably will not rewatch this, I did enjoy it and am not sorry I stuck with it and got to see the romance bloom with Soo Young and Min Young. :)

The story is different, its not your typical Korean drama,it has a variety of genera's. I don't know how they do it but the writers balance it perfectly between comedy, politics, drama, and of course romance! There aren't really any OMG evil antagonists in this story but that's what makes it unique all the characters get along in one way or another, It really gives of the same vibe as the drama Protect The Boss. The Acting and cast are really good! some people choose to ignore this drama because the main guy isn't "handsome" enough, well they're losing out because he is handsome and on top of that portrays his character perfectly, I really cant imagine anyone else playing the part but him. I've seen all the main girls work and I absolutely love her! she shines the best in this drama. The supporting cast is hilarious! its soo good because they all have a side romance which is cute! The music is soooo addicting, it matches with the drama and actually makes it better. I wouldn't rewatch this now but maybe in the near future when i forget everything.
** If you haven't started watching this go now! trust me you wont regret it!!

Corona boredom made me watch this, but I had very little hope for this drama. The "love square tag", the political setting and the age of the drama were all red flags and I was fully prepared to drop it after a few episodes. The biggest surprise for me is that the political setting actually works. The production team did a good job delivering a pretty entertaining political satire, without going deep into schemes & the really dirty stuff. I cannot think of another kdrama of the top of my head where they succeeded with this. The leads had great chemistry & their shenanigans were really entertaining to watch, also their romantic plot was awesome up until episode 15. So yes, this drama really delivers in the fluffy romcom department, it is actually funny too.
I really did not like the second leads, even if they had no romantic success their actions consistently annoyed me up until the last episode. The FL and second ML's backstory is especially bad, specifically it's the reason(s) why they couldn't be together, god I have no words for how stupid that was.
Ultimately the biggest problem with the drama is that it follows the standard kdrama formula with a year long forced separation preceding the 30 minutes long happy ending. (well could be 2 years, but I think the subtitles are potentially wrong here) The ehm "reason" behind said separation is a terrible cliche that I've seen before, but good god, it annoys me every time.

Overall All About My Romance is a very enjoyable romcom with flaws, but still it's hugely better than most of its contemporaries. 8/10

Quick binge with OKAY expectations
~This drama was okay. If there was something that would have made me drop the drama, it would have been the ML's hair cut in episode 8. . ~Honestly the drama wasnt bad, the romance was sweet and the characters were there. I mean like the second leads (but i did insult the SML every single chance i got) ~ if you are looking for an easy, quick, a pinch of high blood pressure from drama and binge i recommend.... that being said..... i recommend this as an in between binge watch then forget about it type of show. But still not regreting watching itWas this review helpful to you?
Story is good......
This drama is good. Story is acceptable. The best about this drama is the FL. As is the case of most dramas - the FL usually carries the weight. Or more appropriately, more often than not, saves the day.In this drama, the ML seems too old. Yes, its a mature drama and the roles (member of parliaments) are usually that of middle aged persons. However, there seems to be a mismatch between a super pretty FL and a too old looking ML. In addition, while its true that there are cocky persons in the world - but they are generally detested. Its also true in movies or dramas. The ML here is a bit cocky; combined with his being too old to the pretty FL - its a recipe for viewers distaste.
