Crash Landing AGAIN
As an avid superfan of Crash Landing on You, I had to write a review since there is only one written here on MDL for The Lunar Year Special. On some webs is titled episode 10.5I loved how they used North Korean dialects while speaking and doing interviews. I loved how the cast was giving away awards for the best performances. For example, they gave one to Jang Hye Jin--who plays Comrade Seo Dan's mother--the best-drunken performance without a single drop of alcohol (Episode 8). Plus, one to Oh Man Suk as the worst enemy award.
During many BTS, you can notice scenes that were adlibs and details that Company 5 gave to us. One of those was how they were the bridge between Comrade Seri and Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok.
Some behind-the-scenes commentaries, and how in those tense scenes we grab onto our seats, they are full of laughter while rehearsing. For instance, the moment Jeong Hyeok is arrested after "assaulting" his superior Cho Cheol Gang (Episode 9). I quoted the word because Jeong Hyeok hit Cho Cheol Gang with an open hand, not a fist ;) They also mentioned how RJH goes full-on baby mode with Seri only.
We get to see some parody posters of the series fans made, the Company 5 test scores, and their favorite moments up to episode 10. The episode finishes with the OST Part 6: Photo of My Mind by Song Ga In

The other two cables - Seung Joon and Dan and their bad fate was sad - bothered me a lot because I focused on the main plot.
Pyo Chi Su also deserves a special mention. It was funny.
Seeing that North Korean village made me feel nostalgic. Poverty aside, this charm that the countryside has always had is missing nowadays.
Again, I really liked the way the makers tried to push boundaries and differences for love :) It might not be practical but it definitely feels good.
Desire to reunify the Korean peninsula.
We hope the world will see a unified Korea sooner, much before 2045!
