Miss Becky....
Wow this drama was so worth the watch, i actually watched it twice!Don't we all wish we had a Miss Becky in our lives, she was extremely funny and so entertaining along with Miss Jalei he was just hilarious and super fun to watch.
This drama was awesome light and funny and also emotional, the way each of the characters portrayed themselves and the chemistry between them showed how they came together either through hardships or just playing. The main actor's holy hell were amazing they chemistry and scenes wereoff the chart, you could feel the love between them.
The only disappointing thing of this drama was moria how earth did she get away with what she did.? Surely there is some sort of punishment for breaking into someone house, almost committing murderer, and invasion of privacy, that b***ch got away with it all!
Sky and Ace were amazing, they had good chemistry stood by each other and you could feel the love. I loved sky parents and how understanding they were.
This drama is definitely rewatch

Stupid, Romantic, Sexy
I have a love-hate relationship with this series!First off - WHAT were the writers thinking? The first half of this series is a hot mess - if I had to rate on episodes 1-5, I would have rated this series a 5 - because it is totally messed up, makes little sense, contains tons of nonsense; the important parts could have been condensed into a single episode.
The second half feels like the writer(s) were switched or something - if I had to rate on just the second half of the series, I would rate at 9.5. The second half is where the story takes off, the characters become real, the nonsense is kept to a minimum and the love and passion between the couple becomes so real. (Some very sexy, passionate scenes are included).
When and if I decide to watch this again someday, I will start at episode 6.

Beautiful, But Flawed
I had read a lot of mediocre reviews of this series, so I put it "on the shelf" for quite a while. But now, having finished it, I can offer my own thoughts.Plot: Confused. The director indulged himself with lots of extraneous nonsense (e.g. flamboyant characters who just detracted from the mail plot;) abrupt character transitions (e.g. Ace goes in the blink of an eye from obnoxious twit to sweet and loving husband) and general chaotic writing. (Even I could have written better dialogue at certain key points.)
Production Values: Quite good. Filmed mostly in a few locations in Manila (including a real luxury home), the camera work and sound were all good.
Music: Excellent, but limited. The most romantic moments incorporate Paul Ramirez's vocal version of "Hindi Ako Bibitaw," which is gorgeous, and awesomely suited to the theme of the story. I listen to it over and over, and it never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
Actors: The two leads are handsome, charismatic guys and they did the best they could with the script they were given. That said, I found the performances to be uneven. At best, they were wonderful. But there were a lot of indifferent moments, too. (Sky should not be so impassive at key points.)
Here are some of the wonderful moments:
-- The "first contact" when Sky reaches across Ace's desk and grabs his hand to thank him. Miko's shining, eager young face is so endearing. And then rewatch and look at the succession of emotions that Aki plays through. Surprised, a bit offended, then realizing how it made him feel and showing just a bit of a smile. A great scene.
-- Sky in his hospital bed, pleading with Ace "don't leave me. Please. Please." Miko's voice trembling and raw; his eyes full of tears. Completely convincing, and completely wounding for viewers who are sooooo on his side.
-- The Confession dinner. Aki's face shows Ace's anguish at having to reveal himself. And then, at the crucial moment, it is he who kisses Sky. (Later, Sky gets the dominant role, but not in this first kiss. And that transition is very endearing.) And then the soaring music and fireworks in the background, while they embrace. Wow.
-- The Coming Out Dance -- the dance is at first awkward af. Like grade schoolers trying to move together. But then they get the hang of it, and not incidentally they repeat their love for each other. And then they are moving with grace and energy........such a pretty scene -- which ends abruptly when they fly into each others' arms, Sky's hands caressing Ace's cheeks....and another kiss. (The intake of my breath was audible at that point.)
Chemistry: Absolute FIRE. These two make love like they are on fire, and like they are committed to each other for life. (which is the story, after all). The sexy scenes live in my mind -- not because they are explicit (they are not, compared to stuff we all see on the internet) but because the two actors put their souls into showing that love. Honestly, it breaks my heart that we won't get to see them act together again -- they have moved on to other professional activities.
Overall, I would say if you like observing actors' chemistry and don't mind sitting through about 3 episodes' too much silly content, then watch this series. Its flaws will be very quickly evident, but its beauty doesn't show up until Ep 8, and is then well sustained for the last five episodes.

My brain cells were shredded into pieces but I'm still ok....
This popular series didn't really kept my interest. Heavy scenes towards the end of the last few eps were great but the plotline is being messy as hell. I hate when a vengeful ex-girlfriend of Sky and her friend stole Chukchuk just for their amusement. Never been a fan of a vengeful bitch who tries to wreck our main leads. I'm so sick and tired of this bitchy BL trope. I did enjoy steamy scenes but still didn't afford me completely. Acting were fine but some are pretty annoying. Miko and Inaki's acting is superb especially the intense drama scenes with Inaki with his parents. I thought their performance are commendable to say the least. The soundtrack is ugh, cute but not that much good. I know this series addresses the social stigma that LGBTQ+ faces with the society but still it didn't really give me a strong urge of feeling for that. I was like rooting for this but I know this is a sitcom but still I need conviction to convince me that it is worth watching. If u were to ask me if it's rewatchable? No, not at all. The plentiful mount of cringe and nonsense just broke the whole series to me.Was this review helpful to you?

A must watch!
I honestly loved this drama and I dont quite understand the hate it gets. No, the storyline isnt the best but the acting between the two leads is insane! Their chemistry throughout this drama was so good, i felt every emotion, my heart literally trembled at them falling/proclaiming their love and broke at times too! Its such a pure love it makes you wanna cry tbh~ I know there are a lot of negative comments but i would honestly say to give this a chance, you might be surprised! I'm certainly glad I did!Was this review helpful to you?
FLAT STORY AND NOT CONVINCING ACTING
I can say that the story is quite simple,, there is not something special, there is no bomb. I would like to say that this series is somewhat remind me of a story I watched form vietnam bl series. the actors are good they can act but in a mediocre way. they are not effective actors, their acting is not convicing./ the supporting role came over and I don't know where they came from. I can say that they have a good visual the production design and the editing si good. but the setting doesn't used according to the scene. the throwing of lines is poor. i can say that this might get the audience based on the visual but when you watched it its kinda boring. THE ONLY THING I LOVE ABOUT THIS SERIES IS THE ost.Was this review helpful to you?

I enjoyed this series so much.Maybe some more real emotion in certain scenes... Over all I loved this series the story of Sky nd Ace.
The acting was great when it came to real passion and love between them.
I love lobe for there to me another story of their love after graduation were Sky and Ace aew both working in thr company were Ace is running Ace of Cakes and Sky is head Chef..
Where they continue to face controversy but still showing thr world their love is real and strory and not just a university fling..
As sky mentions in the bekeing of thr series that this is a story of true love ?

The Disney BL drama I never knew I needed
OK so I didn't go into this show with high expectations and full disclosure, I nearly gave up on it after the 2nd episode but I am glad I didn't. I read in places it was like if Disney had made a BL series and I can totally see why people would see that. Some of the parts were so totally Disney (I wont reveal which but you will know them when you see them!) but then you reach the steamy scenes and Disney it is most certainly not!Story
-------
The story was a bit of a mess to be honest but a good mess. The first few episodes were all over the place and very fluffy and a tad ridiculous but once the main plat kicked in we were left with a solid romance that built well and some strong messages about acceptance, support and forgiveness. This was not the story I was expecting but I'm glad its what were were given. My only gripe was the way Moira was portrayed and the forgiveness that was given way to easily considering what she did (again you will see what I mean when you watch).
Acting
--------
The acting was for the most part excellent. The main leads had very obvious chemistry and delivered this in spades, the steamier scenes proving this but also in just their every day interactions. The rest of the cast delivered well with Sky's family and Miss Becky being a highlight (Miss Becky being a character I didn't think I was going to like but grew on me over the course of the series).
Music
--------
The sound track was ok. I liked the theme tune and how they used a more orchestral version for a certain scene that worked very well. ITs been added to my Spotify so I must have liked it!
Rewatch Value
-------------------
The production was surprisingly well done and, apart from a few issues I noticed as I was watching, was decent for this type of drama. I'm not sure whether I would watch it again, maybe if there is a season 2 but I'm not sure how likely that is considering the issues going on there.
Overall
---------
Overall, I am very glad I stuck with this. It was a surprisingly emotional, funny and decent story in the end with a bit of a shaky start. It wont go down as one of my favourites but I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to nice light series to binge :)

hit or miss
this is my first Philippines bl and it wasnt a let down but it lacked for me the series only got better around 6-7ep and i kinda skimmed through most parts like kens yt channel scenes and so on. the acting was really awkward and hard to watch there were a lot of scenes that i had to skip and you can tell a lot of scenes were improvised or off script which isnt normally a bad thing in bls but in this case since the acting wasnt the greatest it just came off weird. i wasnt aware that they speak a lot of english so it kept throwing me off since i wasnt used to it. the chemistry between the actors was amazing it made up for the lack of acting. i wanted the ex gf in jail like forgiving her because she cried and telling her everything was fine annoyed me she got away with everything. the music was fine the intro and outro was so long for no reasonoverall: i couldnt rewatch the acting puts it off, the series is tolerable its better than tharntype ill give it that

Sky's the Limit
My Day is a jumpy kind of BL series that's scattered all over the place. I can't imagine the director seemed to be without focus and simply settled for sloppy acting. Many scenes were so awkward, corny, and far-fetched from reality that I pitied the good actors coz they were made to look like stupid jerks. Take for instance when Sky (Miko Gallardo) pleaded for Ace to reconsider him as an intern. It was so corny and unconvincing I cringed in my seat! Nothing like it will ever happen in the real world, dude! (Well, I know it's a make-believe movie, but at least make us forget what it is. That's the test of a great drama--when you thought it was for real coz it's so convincing.)
Another thing is Ace's father who looks & acts more like a goon than a multimillion-$ CEO. His demeanor didn't exude an iota of sophistication common to the rich & famous. Then there's Sky's ugly girlfriend who entered his house like a bloody brute, and Sky's parents didn't even bother to shoo her away? Huh?! Unbelievable! Also, Ken's role selling online products and Ace's private housemaid's singing and dancing ala Sound of Music have no bearing whatsoever.to the story. Many similar scenes in My Day can be labelled "out of this world" and downright messy & silly. I simply skipped them to save time.
The redeeming glue that prevents the series from crumbling is the romantic scenes between Ace and Sky. (Let's be honest. Take those scenes away and you have nothing left but an empty can of worms.) Kudos to Miko Gallardo who showed great promise with his natural way of carrying himself throughout the story. His natural flare is captivating, easily making him adorable. Like his hot scenes, Sky's the limitation of the story. Take him out & it won't make your day!
