I love the way this ended! ( I won't give spoilers.) I started watching this one afternoon and found myself going to bed at 7:45 am the next morning having completed it. It is definately a "I'll just watch one more episode" kind of drama. I was unfamiliar with all of the actors, but thery were great. The plot was definately a lot spicier than K-Drama. I would highly recommend this for a rainey Saturday or an all night marathon!!

I think this is the 1st drama I've watched that didn't have an obvious ending as to who the female lead would end up with.. It had me becoming more and more curious as the episodes progressed of who would end up with who. When I had first read the plot, I wasn't particularly sold on the whole "age-gap" thing, so I wasn't expecting a lot from this drama, but after I had watched the 1st episode I was hooked and found myself looking forward to every Friday when I would be able to watch this. It was fun, had an incredibly funny cast, and didn't seem to have uninteresting moments where I just couldn't watch it anymore.

I actually didn't know I'd like the cast as much as I did. Shinohara Ryoko did such a great job in portraying her character. I wasn't really all too thrilled with the portrayal of Sakura in the beginning, but her funny, loyal, over-the-top self managed to grow in me really fast.. Which applies for the rest of the cast as well.

As for the music, there was nothing that stuck out to me. Everything was very fitting for this drama, but nothing too extraordinary to mention. Overall, I enjoyed watching this a lot. This kind of drama goes to prove that you don't need the young, popular idols in order to make a good drama. The type of friendship and romance this drama portrayed was enough for me to stick around all 11 episodes. It'll make you laugh, possibly even cry depending on which guy you root for, and will show you the value of friendship and real every day situations. I would definitely watch this again, one of the best J-Dramas I've seen this year.

The story has a Sex in the City feel to it and the lead actress reminds me of Kim Sun Ah. I don't normally watch romantic comedy, but this was recommended to me so I took a chance. I can't remember who recommended it, but if you read this, then Thank You. :-) The main story is pretty well done. I admit at first I was kind of put off because I felt like the writers were portraying strong women as manly. However, soon I realized that wasn't their intention and grew to like the writers outlook on women and men and relationships.

I do have one comment. Being 38 myself, I find it offensive that the writers make that out to be old. Give me a break. "Youth is wasted on the young." --- George Bernard Shaw Anyway, all you teens and 20s out there will soon become 30s and 40s. Then what?

I enjoyed Shinohara Ryoko's portrayal of Sakura as strong and naive. I like how the character grew with out losing her core self. It was really well written as were the other characters. Miura Haruma who played Hiroto is some pervy noona bait for real. He is also a good actor. The way he smiled and looked at Sakura made me firmly believe that he was in love with her. Fujiki Naohito portrayed the long suffering Tachibana very well. All the other characters were worth watching also. The side stories weren't bad.

The music was good.

Over all I enjoyed it and may revisit this drama in the future.

If you like romantic comedy with a little angst thrown in, then I think that you would enjoy this drama.

This was cute, refreshing but didn't turn out the way I expected it to. I would have personally liked to have seen a different outcome. It could be quite funny and I liked how the female character evolved even though I would have made different choices. It's good for a quick light watch. Also a good introduction to jdramas.

Let me start by saying that light rom-coms are not my favoutite genre: I usually feel slightly detached and only watch them for the entertainment and the pleasure to let my brain rest for a while.

View in this light, Last Cinderella is the perfect romantic comedy. It's funny, at times utterly hilarious, it's fast-paced, it's highly entertaining, well characterized and most of all it's sexy.
Therefore, lowering my score because it didn't make my heart pound or didn't make me weep or think and re-think would be unfair towards the script, the cast and the general value of the drama.

If you're looking for a good romantic comedy, this is it. The cast is brilliant, the romance is spicy, the humour is wicked, the kisses are great, the guys are hot and the friendship between the three women deliciously naughty and heartwarming.

This kind of drama doesn't need long academic dissertations. Watch it for the fun and, yes, for Miura Haruma. He must be the hottest thing after chili paste. A shallow statement? Yes, of course, but then again, a good rom-com should stir your hormones, if it pretends to stir the neurons it invariably fails.

The music fits its purpose, it's just as light and summer-like as the drama itself.

Last Cinderella lends itself to multiple watching, hence the high re-watch value. Since I believe it's perfect for the Summer, I suggest you start watching it now. I doubt you'll regret it.

This was recommended to me by someone on My Drama List, and boy am I thankful they did! It was also my very first Japanese drama, as well as my first introduction to Haruma Miura (who will promptly be showing up on the Noona Killer list). I thoroughly enjoyed the entire show and really wanted more episodes! I would have been in drama heaven if there had been an episode showing the happy couple after she said yes to the marriage proposal! But even without that, this has made it into my top five favorite drams!

I’m still so new to the dramaverse that I’m sure my ratings will change and evolve as my journey continues, and I’m still hesitant to give things a 10. However, I was really tempted to give this one all 10s. I’ve just completed watching this and so I’m riding the good drama high, but I’ll do my best to give a decent review that is only slightly tempered by my utter love for this show.

As I’ve stated several times throughout my blog I’m a huge-huge fan of the Noona Romance. This satisfied all of my Noona Romance needs! So far of all the Noona Romances that I’ve watched this is absolutely my favorite! It easily and comfortably dealt with mature themes of attraction and sex. It addressed the concerns and obstacles that face a Noona Romance with great emotion and class. The budding romance between Sakura and Hiroto was so fantastically adorable, sweet, and just the perfect amount of awkward. It had everything that I’ve come to love in my Noona Romances, and all of it was very well done.

Sakura was well written and well executed. I really loved that the part wasn’t portrayed as unattractive, they showed her as more just having given up on love and herself. She was both confident and bold, yet naïve and innocent. Sakura’s chemistry with Hiroto was so cute, it slowly built as she let herself fall in love with him. It was so good. The other male lead, Rintaro Tachibana, didn’t quite strike the same chord with me. I thought the role was nicely written, but I had trouble seeing his feelings as love for Sakura. Throughout the show the dialogue kept enforcing that being comfortable with a person could substitute love, but even so I wanted to feel more from him in regards to his feelings for Sakura.

I did want to see a little bit more of an initial reaction when Sakura found out about the basis for her relationship with Hiroto. It seemed that she just brushed it off. I’m not saying I wanted a weepy main actress to throw herself into depression or anything, but I wanted more substance to that interaction.

The supporting cast of Sakura’s friends and Chiyoko were very well done too. They were solid and interesting characters who I was very interested in seeing what happened. All of their stories intertwined nicely. I like how this drama addressed life lessons/choices that were very specific to women close to forty, and dealt with those issues in a great way. I also liked Chiyoko, well I loved to hate her, but she also grew and evolved on her own journey and I enjoyed watching that.

All in all, if you are a fan of the Noona Romance genre then this is an absolute must see!

I actually started watching this drama because of Miura Haruma, but in the end I enjoyed it a lot.

Story: 8/10
It's not a plot we havent seen before.Young man has a relationship with an older woman.. Nothing new. But what made this drama greater than others is that sex was not a taboo. They spoke freely about it,something unusual for asian dramas/movies.

Cast: 10/10
The cast was very well chosen. Miura Haruma .... Well What can I tell about him-I love him! Such an amazing actor and he's soooo handsome. Ryuko is a good actress,I've seen her before. She played really well. Fujiki Naohito-I must say I adored his character . And Sakura's friends were halarious!

Acting: 10/10
In one sentence - they did their jobs amazingly!

Music: 8/10
The music was nice. :D

Rewatch Value: 10/10
I really enjoyed it and I will definitely rewatch it someday.

Overall: 10/10
The drama was very entertaining, cute, romantic, the cast did'nt dissapoint me even a bit. The age gab was totally forgotten, because of the chemistry between the main leads. It was a very good drama and I hightly recommend it! :)

First let me say I have never watched anything like this before, and I really think it's unique compared to the majority of dramas out there.

What I liked best about this drama was the characters, you could really feel the close friendships they had with each other and it helped to make it a really realistic story.

The second thing I liked the most was they made you fall in love with both of the male leads causing you to be torn with who you want her to end up with and they really throw you for a spin up until the very end. I left watching this feeling completely satisfied with the ending and I would recommend anyone to watch it that likes a good, realistic and mature comedy/romance.

The only negative thing I would have to say about it is, for me, it started out a bit slow and the female lead was really annoying at first, but it got better as it went on.

I watch a lot of Asian drama (Japan, Korea and Taiwan) and most of the ending is predictable. Last Cinderella is different. It is not like I was imagine. While I watch last episode, I think I can guess the ending, suddenly, it beyond my expectations. If you want to know what kind of twisted story, watch it !!!!

The cast is great. Love the ost. The story line is different than usual and refreshing. Love the friendship portray in this drama. You will feel the love of each friend one another and how supportive they are.

I will watch this drama next time...!!!

Quick and simple; Last Cinderella is a light rom-com that
is a wonderful watch for women of all ages to satisfy the dark

fantasies we keep locked in out hearts. Not only is it extremely

romantic drama, it is realistic. Although it is quick paced, it does go

over some serious topics about betrayal and forgiveness. The

characters where all love-able in their own ways from Sakura's

constant old man gibberish to the bar owners eccentric but helpful
talks he has with his regulars. When I started this drama I had hoped

it would be longer but it is actually perfect the way it is: Short and

sweet. There really isn't anything bad I can say about this drama
because it was just wonderful. The harsh reality of aging into an older women...but only on the outside. I learned that in our hearts,

when it comes to love it will always be new and exciting. I highly

recommend this to women even though men could enjoy this too. If you have any more questions just message me!! Enjoy!!!!

When I first read about that drama, I wasn't sure if I should watch it because I'm totally over with the whole "Cinderella" Theme and I didn't know any of the actors (I'm new to the whole Japanese drama thing), so I wouldn't miss anything right? I don't know why I started it then but I'm glad that I did it.
Overall it's an really good drama. The story was not certainly new but the idea to tell the story of an older woman with no fashion sense who fall in love with an young BMX rider was (at least for me) refreshing and fun.

I liked every character that they included and to add an homosexual one was awesome. The little side stories were fun. But I had some bad problems with Sakuras over the top teenage like behaving. I can understand that she is totally in love, hadn't a boyfriend for a long time and that Hiroto is actually so young, but please she is almost 40 and not a teen. That's the only thing that really annoyed me from episode to episode.

The music was a good fit for the drama sweet and fun to listen to. I wasn't bored at all. Great!

In the end, I would watch it again. It was fun to watch and everyone was (more or less) likeable. A good thing happend here.

Story: Younger man meets much older woman through an arrangement by his pretty twisted step sister so the step sister could go after an older man who is the colleague and long time friend of the older woman but was unaware that he (the older man) was actually already in love with the older woman. There! I've described it in one long sentence! Throw in 2 older women who are best friends ala 'Sex in the City' style sisterhood and their own little stories with the opposite sex, and you get "The Last Cinderella". The ultimate question at the end is "Who will she choose?" - the younger man who approached her with the wrong intention or the older man who has always been with her with the right intention? Simple story line, great acting and an unpredictable ending (or perhaps it is predictable?) Be ready to take your side. Are you in team Hiroto or team Tachibana?

Acting/Cast: Great acting from a seasoned cast. Always wonderful to have seasoned actors and actresses in a drama over those young idols.

Music: So-so... mostly instrumental. The only gem I am taking away from this drama is Rihwa's Last Love.

Rewatch value: Probably will not be re-watching it anytime soon. Why? I am in the losing team... that's why! Still trying to nurse my wounded heart.... but no matter who she ends up with,, this is a nice light drama that is worth watching in a day when you have nothing to do but wish to feel the "Cinderella" feeling. Does not require much IQ or tissue papers. Generally, a nice sweet simple story. Fast paced.
