Judah's health scare puts things into perspective for Rocky. But after all that's been said and done, is there room for the two of them to start again. (Source: Ride or Die Youtube Channel)
well skeptically little me isn't elated to find Rocky tending to sick Ju - know Ju was elated cause he feels Rocky didn't desert him, and yet there too many warning signs as to WHY Rocky found a conscience. yeah i know he cares cause that "i love u" the night before, wasn't a slip of the tongue. those were his true feelings - ones he is scared shitless to admit, but that's beside the point. and yet he is Not in a place where he is ready to face reality and take the 'world' by the horns. so i get the motivation here is more monetary - his mentioning he spoke with Ju's grandmother, or the fact that he got money from her - more or less confirming the fact he working for her (i.e his job is to take care of Ju) so his caring for him while sick, was a job, not him feeling guilty. *********************************************************************************************************************************Ju can't help but make more out of it, but thankfully he got Beshie to turn too for advise (and to-date his advice has been spot on) even though his encouraging Ju to turn too Glenn .... hmmm not great (as Ju himself pointed out in ep 2 "...Glenn wasn't serious about him, he only wanted on thing. and Ju wanted/needed someone serious...") but sadly Ju now running scared and wants to get over Rocky ASAP. so the best way to get over one dude is to get under another.... ahem (u‿ฺu✿ฺ) don't quote me on this lol ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************and i won't be liked for what i'ma say, BUT that old hag of a grandmother is making my blood boil - u would think that "with age comes wisdom" but nah she a moron. all her good intentions be paving the road to hell for her grandson. so why not stop and think or better yet, talk to her grandson and ask him what he wants - but Nope she like a bull in a china-shop, who knows best cause she well intentioned - OMG the stupidity! but most of the parents/adults in these BL's tend to be moronic and everyone keeps saying - u need to forgive and forget as if, just cause they're older - they get a pass at acting however. like Rocky's father, he has the song and dance down - but what is the use of all those words - when he can't support his own children ?? as the saying goes actions speak louder then words - and him telling Rocky "don't burden urself, live ur life etc..." all good and well, but then who gonna pay for his medication? his and his younger children's food, education let alone keep a roof over their heads? his positive words will? hopeful thinking will?? so his words r more to 'wash his hands of being a burden' cause he told his son he doesn't need too - that doesn't make the "problem" go away - as Rocky isn't gonna take that advise, cause that not freakin logical - aish these type of people freakin frustrating. there no logic or common sense used in their words/advise or actions, but it's ok, cause they well meaning (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************so get why Rocky is doing the things he is doing, he's desperate for money - so he can ignore what happened when he's getting paid for being with Ju. but would he have come back without the "job" offer?!? this more complex then it seems and yet Rocky isn't in the right, even if i can "get" why he did what he did - Ju moving on is the logical go-to considering how his heart got stomped on - so yeah Judah shouldn't jump from one dude to the other - he needs to get his head straight. but in this instance maybe he needs someone who seems to care, to come in and be a buffer - or someone who just shakes things up and pushes Rocky into a corner, making him confront his demons - which considering how he dealt with the situation, the ending was well deserved (yeah there a miniscule part of me that feels bad for him as he was trying that the very end to idk be friends?!? but considering how he hurt Ju - the "lets take is slow or let's be friends.." doesn't make-up for how he acted or what he did) so yeah he needed to be punished even a bit and that was better then any slap or harsh words, would work at getting even.
I loved this episode. Seeing Judah moving on and trying to make amends for his selfishness towards Glenn and to overcome his anger towards Lolly was really impressive. I feel like he’s maturing so much because he’s realized that being an adult is different than how old you are, it’s all about mindset. I’m also proud of him for trying to move on from his feelings for Rocky, even though I’m pretty sure Glenn is just a rebound because he’s trying to convince himself that he really has moved on. It’s tough when you have strong feelings towards someone who keeps rejecting you, especially after the mixed signals Rocky was giving him, and I’m glad he is putting himself first by distancing himself. On the other hand, I’m pretty upset at Rocky. I understand that he is struggling with his sexuality and his attraction to Judah, but in last weeks episode he handled it poorly. Now he’s realizing that he does want to be in a relationship, or at least wants to explore one, because he sees that Judah isn’t bending over backwards to make him happy anymore. This episode gave me strong Theory of Love vibes and while I ended up liking that show, I feel like Judah deserves better just like I felt for Third. :/
Quaranthings: The Series (2020) Episode 6: Paracetamol
Episode 6: Paracetamol moved the plot/storyline of Quaranthings forward. We saw character development for both Judah and Rocky. We also saw Glenn as the real third party on this series. We can expect this Glenn issue and the Lolly issue resolved on the two remaining episodes. How they're going to settle these should be interesting. Screenplay was relatable. Acting was good. And I don't know how it's possible but Royce was even more handsome on this episode! Lol! Audio-visuals were also ok. This episode (which was 16:50 minutes) was the shortest episode of the series so far. I hope the last two episodes are longer.
