Similar story of a main lead who moved into a house where Yokai lives. Both have mix of comedy and seriousness. Although Kasuka na Kanojo is more serious as it focus more on high school dramas as it's about a teacher who struggles to reach out to his difficult students and unexpectedly receive help from a Yokai living in the same house who was a teacher herself.
Ghost love stories~ what would happen if you fell in love with a ghost??? Both drama deal with this question. Though one is contemporary and the other is historical one can feel the dedication of the mls to not let go of their love despite the obvious adversities. They also have their fair share of comedy.
Both dramas are about a guy who discovers a ghost living in the house he just moved into and how the ghost influence his decisions that affects his career.
Although Kanojo ga Joubutsu Dekinai Riyuu is more wholesome, Kasuka na Kanojo is more serious as it focus more on the struggles of being a teacher.
