Still interesting

That Safari guy is smart; I’ve got to give him credit for that. He’s trying to link the police to Doctor’s son and get rid of him once and for all, he even got his actors but trying to play Ji Hyun Min was his big mistake because that guy is smart too and we still didn’t reach doctor’s son counter attack because he’s not going to let what happened to Soo go just like that. Let’s see what he’s preparing.

Cruel. Heartless. Amazing.

Something that struck out to me in episode 2 was Doc Son relationship with Soo. There's depth and loyalty which surprised me considering he is the antagonist. Doc Son character so far wasn't being portrayed as evil but when he went to save Soo and the girl grasped on to his leg he looked at her for a while not a glance and we would be thinking he's also going to save her but his expression was he had no plan to and she wasn't as important as Soo. At the point Doc Son looked "cruel" and "heartless. His character grasps you so hard and you feel the impact. This drama has it all. You're interested in every character and every direction. You don't want to miss a second thinking you could miss something. Your heart is in your hands and you are anticipating for more. We may have started for the the romance angle but one you start you just want more action, thrill, blood, fight, and all that grittiness. The fights and the chase become your obsession.

STILL FANTASTIC

Everything I said about ep 1 still stands after ep 2. This show is all that and a bag of dried squid. I just really hope that it doesn't totally change once Nam Gyu Ri's character takes stage and the romance lines start filtering in because that would be an absolute crime against the art of tv film making. This show is fantastic just the way it is. Please don't go down hill. And, yes, Jung Kyung Ho is a revelation -- sheer brilliance!

The momentum continues

The atmosphere is solidified in this episode as it begins to delve into the characters and their various allegiances. As far as the development went in the first episode, we were given the minimum in order to heighten curiosity in suspense. This drama is even more exciting because it seems the writers are going for gray characters; these characters have a mature nuance which I hope lasts. For those seeking the action aspect only, don't worry. There's an amazing road stunt in this episode for you. For the blood-shy, well... later on, be ready to cover your eyes.

As a side note, I'm willing to bet that "Doctor" will be a fan-favorite among viewers should the drama continue its wonderful momentum. The second episode is on the same level as the first, which is a great sign.

If you don't like violence, you might want to skip this....

But I love me some crime dramas! I didn't want to miss a moment. Watching this and seeing things never seen before like a failed U-Turn! How many of us have said, how can they do that all the time and not have an accident. I was just falling in love with Doctor's (Shi-Hyun) second hand man and he gets stabbed! Please, Soo, you must recover. And how am I going to remember all of this gang names! I'm going to have to make a gang chart. Not kidding!!
