MUST WATCH
It was just to good for me. It was amazing overall. The plot, the actors' acting and the ost was perfectly combined to make the drama *chef's kiss*. The plot gave me butterflies in my stomach. I didn't expect the revelation in the end . The OST is too great. I can see myself listening to it til the rest of my life. The voices of the ost singers gives me chills everytime i listen to it. The actors has a great chemistry, Their acting is 100%. The production team did a great job doing this drama. Was this review helpful to you?
Almost perfect
With the exception of the last episode, this drama was stellar. The concept was unique and fascinating, the chemistry between the boys was on fire, and the undercurrent of darkness and danger was incredibly compelling. The cinematography and visual representation of the color rush was gorgeous, and the music was well-suited to the moods of the respective scenes. The tension got my heartrate up multiple times! Unfortunately, though I did like the ending, much of what made the drama so good was abandoned at the last moment. The hints of manipulation and possessiveness from the boys disappeared, and there's no follow-up on the mother's disappearance. I can't find anything on a planned season 2, but apparently there's a web novel so there's a potential for more. I would still wholeheartedly recommend this, as you can see by my high review, I just think it could've had a punchier finish that better matched the tone of the overall story. I'd love to see more in this universe, there's plenty of potential. Was this review helpful to you?
The best among the BLs I've watched so far
I've tried to keep this review as vague as possible to not spoil you all.I've watched about 5 BL dramas so far and that probably means I don't have a grand amount of experience of what does and does not makes things click, but from what I can tell this one is an excellent choice. Kudos to the original manhwa creator. I would be whipped for a free English version of said manhwa, because this plotline is unique indeed. In terms of BL I'm more used to ordinary life type romances, so this drama's concept of Monos and Probes is reminiscent of vaguely dystopian/sci-fi books that I've read in the past. Such a concept is one I quickly fell in love with.
Obviously if any of you reading this are colour blind, I wouldn't recommend this drama :/ Besides that, there are minor setbacks. The music and the visuals gets semi-irritating during Choi Yoon Woo's first experiences of colour, although perhaps it's meant to reflect how overwhelming it is for him. As in some other BL dramas that I've watched, perhaps because the episodes are so short, some aspects of the side plot remain unexplored. Yet even the side plot itself warrants praise for being atypical (the Grandfather you will hear of is an instance of this).
As for the acting I'd say both do a good job - there's some more profound expression from Yoo Jun's (the character Choi Yeon Woo's ) side. That could be put down to his acting experience being much greater than Heo Hyun Jun (character Go Yoo Han) though. Unlike some other series that I've encountered, I haven't silently begged for a less stone-like facial expression from either of the characters. Their emotions are pretty clear, even if sometimes it's all in their eyes.
In terms of the romance, I'm not sure if it's love or dependence but I'll take it as love. Either way the dependence adds to the intensity of the relationship, and there's a hell of a lot of romantic tension which really grips your heart. Although some of the plot is unsurprisingly unrealistic, the romance isn't. I sort of appreciate how this BL doesn't start with a forced kiss or a oh-no-I've-fallen-into-a-strangely-sexual-position thing. The skinship is subtle and beautiful and definitely adds to the chemistry between the two leads.
Anyway, I probably sound too neutral and critical. In reality I'm very, very, very whipped for this drama. Go watch it :)

STORY: I rated the storyline 9 because I enjoyed the whole series, at the same time, I feel that there's something missing. There are a lot of open questions that could have been addressed however it wasn't. A side couple that I wish could have been elaborated even more, how they came about. This is a story of two imperfect boys finding each other in an imperfect world. Hello, can it be sweeter than that? There are scenes where it could be a trigger for some people, however, it was done artistically. I'd say this is somewhat a happy ever after if only some of the issues were addressed.
ACTING/CAST: The actors are awesome, Yeon Woo and Yoo Han were able to portray their roles beautifully. I like their interaction, their chemistry. I love how they were able to convey what they felt just through their eyes. The side couple has sweet chemistry as well, which I was hoping would have a story too however that's not the case.
MUSIC: The music is right to the tee and I enjoyed listening to it.
REWATCH VALUE: I won't be surprised if I keep on watching it. It's not boring, it keeps you wanting more. I enjoyed the scenes between Yeon Woo and Yoo Han. If by chance in the future they'd have another series I'd be watching that too.
OVERALL: Despite the rate that I gave for the story, I still rated this series 10 because it made me happy, it made me cry, it made me feel the emotions and the connection between Yeon Woo and Yoo Han. It's a feel-good movie at the same time there are lessons that you will learn.

Adorable
Not only were the boys absolutely adorable but they actually had a solid storyline for once. This is literally the first BL I've watched where the main conflict isn't 'we're both guys' which is absolutely great as it shows that we're becoming a more accepting society and putting that to good use by making a cute BL for us all to feel jealous over :P The kiss was much needed so I'm glad they included it but I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't more passionate though thats kinda a kdrama theme. Also I loved it so much that it's a shame that it was so short. I definitely recommend this and fully support a potential second seasonWas this review helpful to you?
fell short... :(
I feel a bit bad to say anything negative about it because I am so thankful for the effort made lately to give us nice BL stories. But yeah, I do have to be honest despite my thankfulness. It fell short and I am not even sure why really. The concept was pretty good and fresh. I read some saying it was rushed. Duhhh..they are so short that you have to fit it in. The thing is that this time there was so much to the story that I think they just didn't manage to fit it in and that left this hole. I liked both of the boys, and I felt they are really trying their best, but there seemed to be a bit of a wall, same as in Wish you. So far no matter how much I wanna like them all, still Mr. Heart is the best from every pov. I am not sure why am comparing. :) Can't help it. I shouldn't. Cause they are all a story in their own right. Still...i will most likely rewatch it, simply cause am happy for the progress. Was this review helpful to you?

Best Well Thought Out Story Line In A Korean BL
The majority of Korean bl’s that I have watched skip the bigger parts of the story line and a lot of times they seem incomplete in some way. This BL, however, covered all of the bases extremely well. Although it was shorter than I wanted it to be, I loved it! I highly recommend giving this a watch. We only really get the perspective of one main character, and in the end it kind of sucks (you will see why if you watch). The actors did an amazing job bringing this story to life!! This is one of those shows that you can watch and rewatch and not get tired of it. In the end, hands down, it is one of my favorite shows ever!!Was this review helpful to you?

Colour Rush Was Indeed A RUSH Of Emotions
First and foremost. This series better have a second season. They cannot in good faith be leaving us viewers like that without damn answers! How is this relationship going to work with the craziness settling in? Where's the mom? Because that's still very much a lot unresolved. Also we just started to get into an actual relationship, don't just end like this I know there's 2 more books! Now that that's out of the way, I loved this series. It could've went on for much MUCH longer but that's the drawback of these K-Drama Mini Series. They rope you in enough and then it's already over. This show in particular has so much good stuff going on in the plot that it would be impossible to resolve everything properly. We had the romance plot, mixed with triggered insanity due to the Mono/Probe situation, a missing mom and mysterious past of Yoo Han. So much potential and it definitely keeps you hooked the entire time. There's not a slow moment in this series.
I watched this with one of my friends and he agreed with me that this is one of the most sensual BL's we'd ever seen. Looks exchanged, literal stroking of walls and faces. The chemistry between the leads developed very nicely! I knew Hyun Jun from being in The Boyz and I'm so excited to see his acting career continue. He was so sassy and confident in this show I loved it! Also he's seriously so beautiful, like holy crap I was so happy they didn't keep the mask on him for a huge section of the show. Yoo Jun did a fantastic job as well in his leading role. There was a few times where I actually felt pain for him during the decolouring, it was heartbreaking. I actually wanted more from the sassy friends though, I needed more fan action!
So the "plot twist" of this show in the last episode was fantastic. I was shook and I don't want to spoil it because it's that good. It really answers a lot of questions as to why Yoo Han is the way he is with Yeon Woo (aka: kinda obsessed since the beginning), brings them closer together rightfully and I loved it. It added so much to his character and leads again to even more potential for a sequel season. Finally, I wanted to say the music was fantastic in this show. The soundtrack and the use of synth during the "coloring" scenes was well done. Also the use of colour and special effects was beautiful. It made me feel like I was seeing colours for the first time as well along with Yeon Woo! Who knew there were that many colours out there to actually see lol. Please watch this series. It is quite dark at times and I'm not sure if it will have a classic happy ending, but it's different and gripping to watch.

Amazing plot with not enough justice given
Story:-An amazing and unique story. The idea of monos and probs is something thought out of the box and something I have never seen in any genre of dramas or movies. One being so dependent on other in terms of achieving something that can't be achieved by being with any other person in the world is intriguing and fascinating.
Cast/Acting:-
I loved both the actors individual performance and their ability to pull off a complex role like these amazed me. I feel in love with Yoo Jun and he stoled the show for me with his amazing and convincing acting. He made me fall in love with all these beautiful colours around me all over again. But I couldn't find as much as chemistry between them as much I wished for. All the other cast also gave performances according to the requirement and I didn't much to criticize in their acting as a viewer.
Music:-
Loved the music. No more words required.
The thing I disliked about it:-
1.The plot is too complex to be expressed in 15 min 8 episodes. I wish if they decided to go for it then they should have gone all in.
2.There seem to be too many loopholes and no proper explanation is given for the next series of events coming up.
3.The end was not satisfying. I hoped for more things to happen. Like it was just a happy ending all of the sudden without it being too happy.
4.The story seems to be left unfinished.
Wishing for a proper season 2!!!

me, personally, i loved it.
~!gunna say it now, trigger warning for episode 7!~i really liked this drama/series. it might have been short, but im pretty sure there is a second season coming out in december of this year ( 2021 ). i do get when people say that go yoo han ( hyunjun or hwall )'s acting is a little choppy. its his first gig, ill let it slide. sometimes his lack of full on affection, adds to the story a little. his expressionless face sometime adds to the seriousness and overall mood of the scene. apart from that, great series.

What do I say about this?
Am I happy or am I angry? I really loved the MC, I think their scenes are just perfect and I think the development of their relationship was incredible. I would watch this again and again without being tired. I was really angry that they ended the series without telling anything about Yeon Woo's mom disappearance. I hope they make a season 2 and explained what happened because I really wanted to know. Well I think this drama was awesome and I would definitely watch this again. If you want to watch something cute I recommend this drama but if you are really into mistery I think you're not gonna like this because they completely forgot about the mistery in the drama. I'm sorry if my english isn't perfect, I'm form Portugal and I'm better at talking than writting in english. Was this review helpful to you?
