Honestly...
The story is your typical university-setted story with a hint of a hidden superstar (not really secret) who finds a non-fan, assumes they're a fan, and embarks on a journey to discovering that they have feelings for them and blah blah blah. I personally found the story bland but somewhat enjoyable since we saw many couples and different personalities. The female lead was quite different from the other shows I've seen that have the same/similar plot. Would I rewatch it? Only if I'm bored and have nothing else better to do.Story is kinda boring but I guess it makes god background noise.
When I do work I like to listen to videos and so I found this drama to pass my time. This drama was boring in the sense that there wasn't much going on for the plot. The characters are also okay. The actors were not bad at acting in my eyes but the characters themselves were kinda boring. Though I know that this plot was just college life so I wasn't really sure what I was expecting. One thing that I did enjoy was the acting of Bao Chen Xi (who played Qu Shi Yun) I hated her character's personality so much. So props to the actor because dang. I understood the reasons why she acted that way since it was explained in the last few episodes but she's still so irritating. She always acts so entitled and acts as if she just graduated middle school. Her actions just bother me so much and I wish that it didn't take 21 episodes for her to burn her bridges. But honestly you don't even need to watch the whole show just watch episode 21 at 9:42 because Chen Xi did such a good job of realistically showing what it would be like to be in that situation. I still hate her character but I really like the acting. I don't really have any thoughts on the rest of the show because nothing really important happened for me to care. There is this one scene that I definitely would not recommend watching because I decided to pay attention and I wanted to crawl in a hole and plug my ears. I mean it wasn't that bad but I wouldn't watch it again even if you paid me. Actually I didn't even finish watching it the first time. I skipped it 3 seconds into it. Now the scene was when the friends were celebrating Amy's birthday and they started singing for her party out of no where. What made it worse was that I could actually understand the song and it just didn't sound that good so um yea. I guess watch it if you want. It's a good time waster. Props to the actors though.
