Portrait of the Days of Youth (1991)

A young man leaves the troubles of his hometown behind and becomes a university student. He joins a group dedicated to the democratic movement and falls in love with a rich girl. A tragedy marks the end of his school days, and he briefly returns home and contemplates his unrequited first love.
