Expected Plot Twist but still Satisfying

As my headline states, the plot twist seems to be predictable but the storylines planted bombs to confuse the audience which is at some point proved to be believable. Thanks to the actors who summon waves on the clear water and me believe there's a whirlpool underneath.

The only thing I don't really like on this is the inclusion of as much characters as they want. It would be more interesting if they do include a character with complex personality.

Overall, it wasn't the best from the production company but worth the time to watch on maybe two or three rounds.

If you're craving something sweet!

Enchante is the kind of drama you could watch without giving much of a thought. It doesn't have a 'strong' plot and is quite of the cliche side. It is indeed filled with a lot of fluff and I would recommend this as some sort of filler drama you watch when you are too stressed, craving for something sweet like I've mentioned in the title.

What I liked:
-The fluff, it has an adequate amount of really nice scenes between the leads.
-The friendship between the two.
-There was not much of any serious misunderstandings or stuff.

What I didn't like:
-The plot line is very basic... it's something like receiving a mysterious note and finding out who wrote it.
-The characters were a little too bland or not that deep as I wished they could've been.
-Acting...it wasn't bad tbh but not the best either.

Overall if you have nothing else to watch go ahead. I watched this right after a thriller so this was kinda refreshing for me. Liking this drama purely depends upon how you approach it. Do not expect much you'll not be disappointed. You'd be able to finish it in one night ?.

Good up until the last two episodes

This show was one of my favorite shows until the last two episodes. I was so disappointed at the end I won't lie to you. Akk deserved better. The show wasn't anything spectacular, but i really loved it. Up until episode 9, where theo started acting like a spoilt brat. I understand him getting a lil upset at akk for not telling him about his parents, but i also think that akk was not in a position to tell him. It was his parent's responsibility to tell him that. also when theo said he was going to France, i got so upset. All in all, Akk deserves better. he did not deserve all that.

A sweet, focused and simple romance we needed the most.

After 12 weeks of the roller coaster of emotions Bad Buddy gave me, all I wanted was a literal return to normalcy. I wanted one of GMMTV's traditional bls. And Thankfully I got the whole experience back with Enchante. From the beginning till the end, this series draws you not just with the mystery of who Enchante is, but with Akk and Theo dealing with their feelings for the other. Despite being newbies, Force and Book pulled off a debut drama success very few could do. The Story was Simple yet interesting, The Acting was excellent, The OSTs were beautiful and the whole show was splendid. I absolutely loved the series references to the Famous French story The Little Prince and how they connected the two. I highly recommend this BL to everyone. And don't worry, unlike the ending of the story, Our little prince and rose reunite with each other. Alors qu'est-ce que tu attends? Commencez à binger cette série maintenant ! Enchanté

Their chemistry carried this series

When I started watching this show, I wasn't expecting too much. So, it was such a surprise when I started looking forward to every Friday to watch the new episode.

The chemistry of the main actors was what made me stay. Best Friends to Lovers' plots sometimes tend to be boring for me, but the actors did a great job. I got engaged in their friendship, so much so that I was happy for them when they finally got together. Chemistry in BL is key, and they have it. The story was good but kind of predictable if you get the hints. The CGI wasn't good, but it didn't bother me as much. Overall, all the actors did a great job in my opinion.

This BL could have been SO much better if the story was written differently. I felt the series was losing strength during the last episodes. Would I watch it again? Maybe, but just some scenes of the main couple. I loved their interactions. They were fun and felt unique.

It's not one of the best BLs, but it's not a bad one either.

Note: Akk is the BEST character here. Everything about him is great. He's comprehensive, rational, and the BEST FRIEND EVER. He's kind of dumb too but cute.

Sweet, lovable and aesthetically pleasing

I don't care what anyone says, this is one of the most consistently good Thai BLs.
The one thing everyone seems to agree on is that the casting and chemistry of the two mains is superb and I agree, they have one of the most natural and sweet relationships. Individually they also seem to be great actors who understand their characters well.
I understand some people's annoyance with the storyline or writing but I simply don't agree. I like that they're both capable of being smart and dumb, the decisions they make are understandable and in character. They're not perfect people and that's what made them realistic and made me want to root for them. Don't get me wrong, above everything it's a romcom so don't expect everything to be ultra realistic, but I feel like Enchante doesn't put on its rose tinted glasses as much as some other dramas.
Bottom line is the characters are logical, their feelings for each other make sense, their actions make sense, I like them as separate people, I want them to be together and I want to rewatch it. If that's the low bar I have for Thai BLs, so be it.

Not sure about this one...

Four episodes in and the only reason I think I'm still watching it is the chemistry between Akk and Theo (Force/Book) I'm finding the story about looking for Enchante amongst the 4 popular boys at the university rather meh!. I'm sorry but why is Theo so obsessed in knowing, its not like he wrote freaking sonnets, couple of sentences and he's hooked. I'm hoping things are going to get more interesting, but so far its not drawing me in much. If it wasn't for the seemingly effortless back and forward dialogue and playfulness of Force and Book, I probably wouldn't bother with this series. I really like the actresses who play Akk's sisters, they are great fun. Must admit the 4 actors playing the would be 'enchante's' haven't impressed me so far other than them all being pretty actors. But...but they haven't had a chance to shine so far, so we'll see. Phupha character (not actor) is the least interesting so far, I don't really like his slight aggressiveness when it comes to Theo, getting stalker vibes big time.

ENCHANTED !

Lets begin with what I dislike in this series, first, I think it would be better if they made Akk To be Enchanté, that will somehow make the searching for who Enchanté was reasonable and not a waste of time, but revealing that Theo is the one that replies to his own message on the Enchanté book, it made the momentum of my watching fall down !! Like what ?! It doesn't make sense!
Also I don't like the fact that the ending seemed rushed, when the time that Theo is going back to Italy there could've been like Akk should be angry that he will be left behind or it should be better of they break up and then a years passed they meet again and revive the live story something like that ! But it was rushed!..
Also I don't like that Akk has got even got angry to Theo that after all of what they've been through Theo will just leave Akk.
Also I don't like Theo getting angry to Akk that he asks him to accept that Theo's parents has divorced and doesn't live each other any more, the scenes where he tries to make his parents comeback is just a waste of time on the series, they should have focused on Theo and Akks love story even more, while Akk is telling the truth, Theo still got angry, where in in the end Theo also realized Akk was right ! See ? They have just wasted their time. You see Akk is always the good guy here

Let's go with what I like,
What I like the most on the story is the chemistry of Theo and Akk, I like their being "torpe" to each other ( torpe is a tagalog islang word which means you are not bold to confess how you feel)
Also Akk is so Handsome, he really fits his character, i like their "waiting on each other to who would give up and confess first ! " they are really good for each other!
I like the back ground song ! Sung by Tay Tawan !! It really fits the theme of the series, also place don't matter for me I liked it all.
I liked Gawin Caskey appearing in this series!
All in all just because I find it great the both leads chemistry, I'm gonna rewatch it !!
Honestly, I finished it last week just before I write this review but, since It' s hard for me to move on I kept on playing the OST and keep on goinv back to the most favorite scenes
I hope they tilhis BL couple will have another series I will root for them !
An unforgettable one for me !

A pleasant romcom with excellent grasp of character

I actually really enjoyed this series. It doesn't take itself too seriously, while still maintaining a satisfying level of foreshadowing and moments that take on a new meaning upon completion of the series. And there is much more to the MCs' relationship issues than just miscommunication - issues that I don't see addressed in many series, let alone BLs. I do wish that those issues got a bit more screen time though.

The characters were written consistently and had a significant level of depth to them - which is quite notable for a series that has comedy as a focus. I was able to tell and stay in touch with each of the characters' motivations and insecurities. And I thoroughly enjoyed this friends-to-lovers plot because of how well the two MCs understand each other, and exceptions to that had valid and in-character reasons, rather than appearing out of thin air. And the pseudo-harem situation didn't take as much focus as initially anticipated - keeping the plot from feeling excessive and attention-dividing.

Having Fluke sing in this series was a welcome surprise - although the songs that got the major spotlight weren't as captivating as the music in other series'. The acting also had brief moments that felt off - with some actors appearing more angry than the character was. And kiss scenes didn't have as much chemistry as the non-kiss scenes suggested. But perhaps this is because of the friend-dynamic that the actors have in real-life. Even though I know that the French wasn't the best, I think that its inclusion was a welcome one, and story-wise it would've felt weird not to have it.

Deserves Better

I'm still mulling over this since I just finished it, but I wanted to write this since I believe the criticism I saw to be way too harsh.
There's a LOT of good in this show, and while most of it is Akk and Saifa (Gawin gets my immediate love always, but his character didn't do him dirty), there are other aspects to love as well.
There's a lot of funny moments, and I laughed harder than I have in a long time at some of the silliness (once again, mostly attributed to Akk)
I'll try my hardest and address other aspects than Akk, since some might not think that one incredible character can save a show.
The music, for one, is lovely. There are a couple times where it doesn't sound quite right, but for the most part I really enjoyed the soundtrack to the point of needing to make a note of it.
The mystery is really not the main focus, despite the title and everything making it seem like it is. The reveal was definitely disappointing, but not nearly as disappointing as what followed. Theo had a lot of chances to be loveable, and I didn't hate him, but he really wasn't a great lead by the end. He had plenty of opportunities for redeeming any of his faults, but he kind of just meandered away from them and chose to be rather self centered. I've dealt with far worse characters, so I didn't hate him, but as I said, by the end I didn't like him very much.
There were so many good moments that made watching this worthwhile, but I'm trying to keep this succinct. The hatred it's getting feels unwarranted, but I definitely understand a lot of the sentiments behind the criticism as I also have a lot of my own. But the journey of the show is where it's good, and I'd be sad if I had missed out on all the incredibly lovely moments by not watching it.
Most of the characters are likeable in some way other than the obvious antagonistic types, but even they aren't completely hateable.
The actors did a fantastic job, and there were a lot of subtleties that tied into things later on, which I enjoyed.
Don't get me wrong, the ending was frustrating and I'm not happy with it, but to dismiss this show as being bad is just sad and incorrect to me.

One of my favorite moments was Akk suggesting that Saifa wanted to perform opera atop the Eiffel Tower accompanied by a hilariously bad green screen of just that.
Finally, I'll stress that Akk is an incredible love interest and I think the show is worth watching just because of him. And I mean that wholeheartedly. My biggest criticisms are honestly just that he deserved better.

I was not Disappointed watching this

First of all, I have to say that I haven't read the novel, so I was able to enter the series with a completely unbiased mind. Due to time constraints, I started the series later. In addition, I hesitated because I read quite a lot of negative comments here. But since I'm one of those people who prefer to make up my own mind, I finally started the series and wasn't disappointed. I'll admit it's not the best series GMM has produced, but that doesn't surprise me.
I agree that showing Enchante right after Bad Buddy wasn't a good idea for GMM. I can deal with it myself and don't compare series with each other. That's probably because I'm used to Korean dramas quickly switching series.

I didn't go into the series with high expectations myself. I only do that when I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed. And so I couldn't be too disappointed.

The story is basically very interesting and when I saw the teaser back then, that was the reason why I wanted to see it. But I also think that the story and the development was the weakest part of the series. More could have been made of it.

The actors were a big surprise for me. I won't say much about Fluke Gawin because I expected him to do a very good job, which I got. Fluke Pusit also played his role very well, although he's relatively new if I'm not mistaken. Boom and Aou weren't bad, but I didn't remember them that way. Maybe it was because of the characters they played.
I think Force was very good in his role. I can't really understand the criticism because I really liked his direction in the series. Maybe that's because I haven't read the novel. Incidentally, that's one of the reasons I never read a novel first and then watch the series. You can actually only be disappointed, if only because you get an idea while reading.
That's why I can actually only speak of the series and the performance of the actors, and in my opinion it was really, really, really good (for Force). I took his role from him and that is always very important to me.
To Book: Hm, I don't think he can't act, but maybe the role wasn't that good for him. I have to admit that I don't really like the role of Theo. I think he thinks about himself a little too much.
Spoilers: I mean, I can understand that he's sad about his parents' split, but as a student he should be mature enough to accept the decision. Also, I think he's also selfish going to France. What did he expect? That Akk, who already doesn't have much self-esteem when it comes to his relationship with Theo, is holding him back? If I had been Akk, I wouldn't have done that either.
Akk's sisters also brought the humor to the show. Above all, I really liked Egg.

I also really like the music in the series. I'm a fan of ballads and sentimental music, and I found that the background music always suited each scene.

Ultimately, I can only recommend everyone to watch the series, maybe you should wait a bit until Bad Buddy has been erased from your brain. The series just had a bad standing because it was released right after one of the best boys love series ever.
I can also only advise everyone not to compare the actors with Ohm and Nanon. Of course they are worlds apart, but Ohm also started out small. And if I'm not mistaken, he also started with a leading role^^.

So I recommend the series for those who would like to see a funny, best friend turned lovers series and maybe don't necessarily want to compare it to Bad Buddy. If you want to enjoy the series, I can only give you one piece of advice.

Everything else is up to you.
