Why you should consider watching this movie! With honest thoughts
Based on the movie description, this movie seemed very interesting. Another reason why I watched this movie was because of the ML Sugino Yosuke ?Anyways, the FL’s acting felt cringey in the beginning as her character gives off this awkward and eccentric vibe. It felt like she was overdoing it, but it played out smoothly and toned down throughout the movie. I think the ML’s acting was more enjoyable. His character had a cool and nonchalant/rude vibe. I would say that there was some chemistry between the actors but not a strong one. If this was made into a drama instead, then I think it would allow for more build up in their chemistry and acting. With the story plot, it is very relatable to society involving dating apps and societal pressures to be in a relationship. This movie perfectly depicted that and portrayed possible problems and scenarios.
*spoilers*
At the end of the movie, I loved that it showed the ML’s real reactions and thoughts about the FL. This was not shown in the movie as he came off as rude and thoughtless, so it gave the perspective of his real feelings towards the FL which was super cute! ☺️

Good Enough
Japanese Drama Special-Movie "App de Koi Suru 20 no Joken" is a well-constructed, nicely paced short film. The movie managed to juggle three stories in a short length, with a bias towards the main couple of course. The idea behind the story, moreover, was interesting, well handled and nicely presented. The app storyline wasn't confusing and it was a smooth starting point for the love stories to bloom. Although, the main love story was a bit rushed towards the ending. Still, it was a fun ride. The performances, in addition, were all pretty good and everyone in the cast did a great job with their characters, without overdoing it.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

interesting short movie and got comedic at the end
If you need something to watch in a short time which is light and fun, you should watch this movie. From the cast, you could see familiar faces like tsubasa honda, yosuke sugino and shuhei nomura.
This movie is fun to watch with it's light and short plot. For people who use dating app this could be really relate-able.
it's interesting to see variety of people with their own character from both the main lead and support character.
Something you can found in a daily life.
I really love both of main lead's inner thoughts during at the end, it just become so funny. it ends in a comedic and well.

Fast paced and cringy acting
Two things: Fast-paced and "too much" actingFor some reason, the whole movie feels like, "We don't have much time. We need to finish this quickly, " breaking the plot's natural flow. I like the plot, actually, just not the pace.
Another thing is the acting, particularly the FL. I am not sure if she is exaggerating her acting for the sake of comedy, but sometimes, it becomes so much that it bothers me instead. On the other hand, the ML's acting is alright. I think he did good.

Watch It If You like Shuhei Nomura (The Cafe Owner.)
I really didn’t enjoy this, but it wasn’t bad enough to drop.I am also trying to give a fair rating to all the crew/ the overall picture, despite the fact that I didn’t like the FL’s acting here-bearing in mind that this is my subjective opinion.
I rarely re-watch anything, but if I was a “ re-watcher” this wouldn’t make the grade.
Today’s world leans towards using dating apps, so the story actually had potential to be really great, but I found myself being constantly irritated by the FL’s over-the-top pure-cringey acting. ( I don’t know her, or her acting ability, so I actually can’t say whether she was TOLD to act so OTT-(because of script or director)- or if she seriously thought that that was what the character required.
Also-not her fault here, just a part of the storyline- but the character’s pity party in the beginning was also irritating. I actually found myself sympathising with her ex!
I never gelled much with the ML’s character, though he is good-looking and acted fine. This is because I MISTAKENLY thought he was responsible for knocking into the FL/ into her trolley, after it hit the stone on the pavement…I thought he was being very rude, that even if he is in a hurry and a reserved person, he could have quickly apologised and assisted her. BUT I rewatched that section before writing this review, and I WAS WRONG. She was the one who knocked into him.
I google/ check out a few things on the reviews before watching. Things like: are ALL the episodes available to watch with ENG SUBS, and also the length of it. Two things are generally imperative for me, and that leads me on to a spoiler:
Here comes a spoiler alert:
1)Does it have a happy ending? (Yes)
2) Is it romantic? (Yes, BUT there is very little chemistry between the leads.)
The only person who really caught my eye was the gorgeous actor who played the cafe owner, Haruto Takagi. He made watching it worthwhile, not that he appeared all that much, comparatively.
