The "Sunny Sisters" are a group of seven friends from high school who reunite after 24 years upon learning that their leader has been diagnosed with cancer. The girls from yonder days are facing troubles of their own, yet along the way, they reexamine their lives to regain their confidence and youth through each other's companionship. Full-time housewife Zhang Li Jun ran into her high school friend Lin Qing at the hospital. After learning that Lin Qing is terminally ill, Zhang Li Jun decides to help fulfill her last wish to reunite the group called "Sunny Sisters" that the two were a part of during high school. When everyone meets again, the ladies who were once carefree are facing the harsh realities of life from dealing with a cheating husband, career troubles to rebellious kids. A good watch
StoryCompared to the other versions, the plotline were pretty much the same. This version have a more sentimental feel to it. And even though i knew the ending, i still cried.
Acting/Cast
The acting was good. Casting wasn't really spot on like other versions, but still good.
Music
The music were nostalgic. My favorite was 很高兴认识你 by Twins
Overall
It's a touching story about the friendship of 7 different girls. If you like retro setting, i think you'll enjoy this.
Cinematography was really good and really pleasing to see. I really liked their outfits on the 90's setting.
The most beautiful story I've ever watched
• Story? Honestly I watch because there is one actor that I like. And I didn't expect the story to be so incredibly cool. Their friendship is very cool, I was made to smile and laugh watching this film. You will feel a very beautiful and happy life, and then sad when watching this. I'm crying.• Acting/Cast? GOOD VERY GOOD! All the roles were well acted, I was able to get into the story and feel they weren't acting, it was like real.
• Music? Idk but its good, i get into the movie. So its good.
• Rewatch? To be honest, I'm not interested in rewatching it, but it's cool I just don't want.
