I Want Kim Bum Or Rain As My Doctor!
I want to keep this review fairly short because this series was so stretched out and frankly too long. Sometimes these K-Dramas falter at the standard 16 eps since the episodes are like an hour long. Sometimes its a good thing. This one was too long.I really love both Kim Bum and Rain. For different reasons, but love either way. So seeing them together was surreal af. Their banter was great and both killed it with the acting. The women in this show definitely were weak characters, which is a shame. I didn't care about them at all (minus Bo Mi to a point). The story had a lot going on and I got confused during it on multiple occasions. I also became pretty uninvested towards the end. Sure, this got much better once we found out Kim Bom's character can actually see ghosts since childhood and become possessed. But I just wanted Cha to wake up already so we could get past the coma ghost thing. I wanted irl repercussions and problem solving. It also helped that Cha kept his memories of being a ghost once he woke up. Which was good since his character had so much growth during this series, which was one of the best parts.
Seung Tak was the more interesting character along with Cha. I liked learning about it but it took awhile to get there. Like I said, most everything else I was like I don't care or okay? I will say though Tess stole my heart. Man made me cry and that was the only time in this series I did. If you like/love our main 2 like I do, you'll enjoy seeing them. If not I would say don't bother. There are better K-Dramas and even better medical based K-dramas. Though the medical accuracy in this was shockingly pretty good.

One of the best comedy
I love Kim Beom ever since I watch Tale of the Nine Tails series. In this show he is pretty funny with a heart of gold. If he wasn't in this series I would have dropped a bit. However, he is so great. The bromance between the ghost and intern is great and the added ghosts make for lighter comedy. Worth watching. Was this review helpful to you?
My First Ever Korean Drama to Watch and Loved . . .
"Ghost Doctor" is my first ever Korean drama to watch. It is out of curiosity that I've watched this drama because of its medical tone. And it proves me right!* Rain as Cha Young Min and Kim Bum as Ko Seung Tak are both fantastic actors. Acting as one, they both have a funny and steady teamwork as a doctors.
* The storyline and its location setup in a hospital is something else. Here you get to know more on how people in their dying days, becoming a ghost of course, longed to be with their loved ones. A typical gesture of how it is to be human.
* Uee as the main actress reminded me of how such a beautiful, charming lady could cope up with the challenging life of a dedicated doctor who spend most of her life in taking care of her patients.
* Over-all, as this is my first Korean drama and first time to know these Korean actors and actresses, I've rated it 10. The casts are perfectly matched for their roles.
** Now, I am beginning to understand why most of my associates loved to watch K-Dramas . . .

Unexpected
The story between mentor and student is really well done, in every eps there's a change of shades between the 2 leads and the growth of the characters is really captivating to see. I liked the side story with the others ghosts, and the overall emotion is an heartfelt bond between the 2 men. It's cute too the relationships between the leads and 1) the lover 2) the confused relationship with his friend not only friend (the youngest ones)! The main point is showing what is a doctor's mission that is keeped alive throughout the improving of the new ones. Good!!!Was this review helpful to you?
Good Enough
The best part of the Korean Drama "Ghost Doctor" is the bromance. The chemistry between the two main leads is unmistakable, with smooth performances to boot and comedy overflowing their sweet interactions. Their relationship was, in addition, well-paced and it matured naturally rather than forced. That was aided by the well-handled body swapping. On the other hand, the relationship between the female doctor and the main lead was boring, out of style and got things necessarily complicated, not to mention it added cheesy moments that didn't help with the main bromance.
That being said, the rest of the side characters were delightful and it was nice that they had their own ark that was finished and not left undone!
So, overall, 6 out of 10.

Love The Ghost Doctor
I really enjoy the story. The suspense and all the twist and turns threw the story. I like the love story of the ghost doctor how it unfold threw every episode and the 2nd lead characters story also. I love the relationship between the doctor and the Intern from goofy to best pals. I enjoy all the characters that come and go in every episode and what we learn about them. The ghost characters that hang around the hospital were also funny and added an extra to the story. The performance of the actors were great and all the special affect, and great direction. It was great for me while watching this drama. I am glad I waited until all the episodes all were being showed because I binge all 16 episodes. Was this review helpful to you?
he's a ghost AND he's a doctor
Overall Review of Concept and Execution: A surprisingly enjoyable medical drama, that is mercifully (for me!) light on actual medical drama, and much heavier on supernatural ghostly drama.Series Highlights: Rain and Kim Bum, both their individual charisma and their combined chemistry, in addition to the fleet of ghosts that only they can interact with. Sung Dong Il is always, always good.
Weak Points: The villain plot was only half-thought out and very underbaked, but easily ignorable for most of the show. The ending is somewhat nonsensical but still pretty fun. The female leads (both Uee and Naeun) are somewhat criminally underutilized.
Recommendation: I mean - you’re not really missing anything unless you’re a big Rain fan, or you like medical dramas that are not TOO heavy on the medical.

A Unique Blend of Supernatural and Medical Drama
Ghost Doctor is a drama that I found myself really liking, thanks to its intriguing story and concept. The idea behind the show is quite unique, blending elements of the supernatural with medical drama in a way that feels fresh and engaging. From the beginning, it captures your attention with its innovative approach to storytelling, setting it apart from more traditional dramas in the genre. However, I did notice that the show's pace seemed to drag a bit in the middle. Despite this, the overall narrative remained interesting enough to keep me watching. One of the standout aspects of the drama for me was Kim Bum's performance. He truly shone in his role, bringing depth and charm to his character that added greatly to the drama's appeal. His acting was a highlight and made enduring the slower parts of the show worthwhile. Overall, it is a drama that offers a compelling mix of humour, heart, and a bit of the supernatural, making it a memorable watch.

Almost didn't watch but glad I did
I almost didn't watch this. I watched part way thru Ep 1 and was do annoyed with Dr. Cha I quit watching. I decided after a couple of weeks I would give it another go. I am so glad I did! It turned out to be just as funny as it is sad.The chemistry between the characters is so good. The growth of all the characters was rewarding. I left this show feeling content with the outcomes even if some where a bit predictable. It is mostly a lighthearted show that does't get overcomplicated even when dealing with 8 peoples stories.
Definately worth watching.

if you need something easy to watch it is drama for you
I liked the plot, but it was too draggy, and it was difficult to maintain focus, so in the end, I had to keep skipping scenes.
I only finished the drama because of the bond that the main leads had, as it was the best part of the drama. For me, it was too long and not very engaging, as you could guess what would happen next.
If you want to watch something where you just want to switch off your brain or have something in the background, this is the perfect drama for you.

best bromance/friendship drama, with a lot of fun
I loved this drama so much ,, the Main leads are amazing ,, they have chemistry together more than the female lead with RainRain and Kim Beom did an amazing job playing their roles ,, every time they show up I smile instantly
not just because of their charm but their characters were like real brothers
I'm not saying it's BL ,, Not at all but there was Brotherly love ,,, pure friendship love for one another and it showed a lot
It's Brotherhood of the best kind ,,they depended on each other in everything literally
And it's not just them ,,, the other ghosts were amazing ,,each one had his own story and his own struggle ,, I wished the writer spent more time exploring the other ghosts lives than wasting time on draggy romance
The start of the drama was really powerful but in the middle the romance became so slow and annoying
they waited for too long to reach the point of mentoring KST ,,, he was used as a vessel most of the time
It got ridiculous when it became all about romance and they forgot the Villain ,, he did nothing but few threats here and there
the plot was too week but had so much potential
it was ruined by romance
but the comedy was good ,, I laughed a lot
it was light not dark
had amazing emotions between the ghosts and their stories
the medical stuff was fun not boring
I recommend it so much because it's enjoyable watch

Slow paced bromance with predictable story done well!
The comedy and acting was great! Chemistry between the 2 leads was phenomenal and I loved their friendship lol; we really spend enough time with them that by the end it feels like they've been friends for years. The story is a pretty predictable what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of drama, but the writing is done well and i feel myself care about even the side characters' plights as much as the main storyline.definitely watch it for the bromance and messages about life, not for any kind of amazing villain plot. i did 1.5x my way through most of the first half due to the slow pace of the story, but it really ramps up near the end with everything concluding in a lovely happy bow that leaves you feeling warm n fuzzy<3 no real loose ends. kind of love when a drama knows when to end nicely these days, rather than cliffhang the audience in hopes of a second season to be drawn out further.
