Feel-good sports science romance
There are a lot of college bl series, but not a lot centering around the sports science faculty and more specifically the sports players of this faculty. We see Basketball players and Track team members, practicing their sports. 3 different romances evolve and grow as the members go through their college years. Fah and Torn have known each other for their whole life, and realize they have more than friendship. Saen has had a thing for Ai and decides to pursue him until Ai falls for him. Vee has a crush on his sisters boyfriend Dome, and they figure out what to do with these feelings.I liked the original take of the story, the diversity in characters and relationships and the fact that some real issues and drama has to be dealt with. There is also a good amount of chemistry.
I didn't like the erratic pacing, the bad kisses and the rushed although nice ending.

Recommend
When the series starts it gives the obvious friends to lovers vibe but it becomes so much more than that! It's not an original story but it's not something overplayed either. Visuals all around and all the characters are enjoyable and bring their own flare to the series. Whether it's unbreakable friendships, being a sports fanatic or even understanding when you're in the wrong, there's something everyone can relate to here. The side couples tend to be my fav but usually don't get the screen time they deserve but YMS gave everyone the attention their story needed without any unnecessary drama that affected the storyline and without an abrupt ending. It's not my fav BL but it deserves all the love it's getting.Enjoy...

Totally Underrated
I am happy to come across this series. This series had a totally award winning vibe. The cinematography is amazing!! and I kept thinking of ITSY. Although it shows less skin ship compared to other bl airing at present. This showed a total character development and love for each. I really enjoyed everything!! Even the time skip at the end is totally fit for all their stories..I really can't forget the scene where Dome stares at vee?( the tension between them can be felt in our stomach)
#Aii is too cute?
#Dome is too hot?
I expected more interaction scenes from main leads but its okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is definitely worth the watch.

LIKE A LONG GOOD MOVIE
Why do this series is this good ?! I mean really good, this is a kind that must be given much attention and credits to. I just really love how they made this !First the theme, the vibe is just like a long movie, it can be compared to I told the sunset about you and I promised you to the moon.
No filler scenes (at least for me) ! Like every scene contributes to the climax of the story, and never boring.
Good acting for a beginner actors, well we all know that the leads here have starred on other BL series before specially Torn and Tubfah but given their actings here! They did a great job !
Nah forget about whether they are that famous and good looking as other famous BL actors we've been following, but their jobs here is nicely done!
I liked that they included a gay on their team Chayakorn ! They only shows that sports is for everyone regardless specially of your gender as long as your good at it and you are happy doing it you can always do what you want !
Coach Big is one of the best coach I knew !
My favorite couple here is Saen and Aii, they're just so cute !
From the beginning of this to the end it progressed so nice, the story is easy to understand and you could feel every scene. They portrayed the reality,
I really hope this drama can be appreciated as much as the famous ones
One of the best 2022 BL I know.

Much better than I expected
Honestly, I was fully prepared to not enjoy this as much as I did simply for the fact it was centered around basketball. Or, so I thought. (Nothing against the sport, I just don't watch it.)But this series was about so much more than that. Even the basketball parts, I found myself interested and invested in because the storyline was that good. It wasn't your typical school rivalry sports drama but more about the personal journey of the individual characters and the way their attitude affects their game and their team.
Also, usually when there are multiple love stories going on, it's easy to pick favorites or be more invested in one over the others. But here, I was equally interested in all three of the couples because they each had a different dynamic going on. All while there were solid friendships and platonic relationships that were so fun and wholesome.
The communication, while missing in some areas to create drama, was very much on point and the characters were all honest with each other and themselves most of the time. It's so refreshing to come across a drama that doesn't rely on misunderstandings as their main source of conflict. There was also no real "villain" either which is a testament to how good the story was without that riffraff.
My main complaint with this series is that the couple with the best tension had an open ending and we never got a release out of all that build-up. I would almost prefer they don't do all that if they are not going to resolve it but it still made for some cute moments.

Ohhh...Yes
Tbh when I saw the teaser way back in 2021 I thought this show was gonna be hot and heavy plus....SPORTS.?But it wasn't. And I'm really satisfied. This show had its ups and downs, literally was playing with my emotions at one point but we got through it. ?The whole vibe of this show though may I Telll uuuuuu was just MWAAHHH?... IMMACULATE. The colors the music everything shaped the show to be what it is and it worked. Now... these characters *sigh* ?were great. They were freaking realistic aNd I LiVe for relatability. Man the main couple and the side couples all kept my attention equally and that usually never happens with multiple couple-focus shows. may I even say the main was a little more intriguing than the rest...
The only real problem I had with this show was the character Dome something about him rubbed me the wrong way but I still loved him and Vee and I'm content with the ending they got.
Overall 10/10 recommend this show. I'm gonna be bored every Saturday night now

A Mostly Overlooked Series with Flawed Characters
One of my favorite parts of this series was showing the backstory of the friendship between Fah and Torn. I know that some viewers do not like time changes, but I thought the child actors did a better job showing this relationship, than a monologue would. I think the visual of seeing a child locked inside and emotional abused, plus having the child actors unfold the story was way more powerful. I think this is why I couldn't stand Fah through many scenes, because he knew Torn's history, but still hurt him, then I would be mad at Torn for putting up with it.Because of the acting, and chemistry between the actors, I really liked this series, even though I skipped Ep 11 because I figured it would only be angst, with no value added and I was right. I did not need to go back and watch it to figure out Ep. 12. I clicked on the director and screenwriter and learned that the screenwriter wrote I Told Sunset About You. I'm in the 1% who felt ITSAY was not a "masterpiece," just a good series. This screenwriter seems to like to create what in real life would be "toxic" people, such as Teh and Fah. They string along their partners while the partner has to constantly adjust and adapt to their whims. Please, find another archetype in your next series. This difference between Oh and Torn is, that Torn was a flawed character as well. His stubbornness over his letting his leg heal was frustrating. I think the relative idiocy of youth was captured here. When a person is young and has ambition, sometimes they don't realize that training too soon will cause irreparable harm that could permanently end a sports career, and/or lead to a lifetime of pain, before the age of 30.
While I loved the chemistry between Kris and Porsche, the only reason I don't want a series for Vee and Dome is that it will be Vee stringing Dome along for multiple episodes of angst. Even though Pan gave her blessing, Vee would just be too ripped up and I hate angst.
Over all, I would recommend watching this. The school spirit parts were a little long, but I could see getting into it if I were a student in that setting.

one of the best bl of 2022
honestly for everyone out there you might found it boring at the beginning because main couple move slow, second couple are the sweetest but I know you are gonna get caught with the third couple (these bitches they left me questioning my morals)but i promise you will love this serie, i think it has a great story and the cinematography 10/10.
you will fall in love with every couple, in my opinion they're a fresh dynamic in the bl world, more than the cliche "we know each other from childhood"

This was bad
I’m sorry, I know some people liked this series but, for me, it was bad. it started out okay but kept getting worse. By episode 11, I was ready to pull my hair out.Fah and Thorn were the worst couple ever. I felt bad for Thorn. He really tried to keep his promises to Fah. When things started to fall apart he tried to communicate with Fah. There was no misunderstanding. Fah was just cold or stupid. He would hardly open his mouth even knowing how much he was hurting Thorn. And the slow speech and even slow body movements were killing me!
I loved Saen and Aii the most. What a breath of fresh air after the continuing torture with Fah and Thorn.
Didn’t really care for Vee and ( I can’t even remember the other one’s name). Could have been good but they were never really together so there was no chemistry.
All in all, didn’t care for this one.

One of the Best BLs I’ve seen in ages
You’re My Sky was truly a treat. I was worried the sports storyline would ruin it for me but I ended up suddenly caring about basketball?? The “rebound” metaphor and teamwork really lends to the story.I loved all three of the main couples and their unique trials and triumphs were had me engaged throughout the show.
The one critique I have is the same one everyone else does - those time jumps! Not the “6 months later” at the end, but the random ones in the middle of the series. It was confusing and felt really lazy on behalf of the production team. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe that it’s because of COVID or some other extenuating circumstances, but either way it does impact the story negatively.
All in all this is one of the best BLs I’ve seen in a long time. It manages to avoid harmful tropes and has well-rounded and realistic characters. I highly recommend!

What we've been waiting for!
As a BL lover since 2018, we had a lot of good watches up until 2020 when COVID-19 started. We've experienced a drought- an outage of BL. You're My Sky is the miracle that brought rain to this dry area. The story gradually builds connections between the couples at a good pace. Not too slow, not too rushed. It's just right. Despite 2020-2021 being a bad year for BL, You're My Sky has implemented all of the characteristics we've missed out on in the past year(s).
The main couple, Torn and Fah, have such a trustworthy connection and bond between each other. Torn follows Fah, and Fah later realizes that Torn is the one for him.
The two side couples, Aii and Saen, and Dome and Vee, both place an impact on this story. Saen is patient and charming towards Aii, so Aii feels cared for, therefore falling for Saen. Dome and Vee's story is a little more complicated than the other two couples, which you'll have to figure out by watching. Let's just say that Dome waits for Vee to accept their situation and continue liking Dome as he has been.
Why 9 stars? You ask. The time skips. The time skips made the story jump from a 10 to a 9 because so many chapters were missing in between. Two seasons could've sufficed to clear up the time skip, but they did it out of no where.
This time skip doesn't affect my love for this series at all, but it could confuse some viewers. I want to give an honest review.
Not too much suspense, and not too much getting in the way of the couples. Sweet and to the point <3

Best 2022 series so far
The stories, the visuals, the music that was made from this series made an impact on me. At first I was skeptical to watch this series but as I continued I fell in love with it even more. The cast was amazing and they really feel comfortable with each other, even off cameras and I think that chemistry played a huge part in this series as well. Even if this series is not from a big company or studio, it's quality is far more better than mainstream BLs nowadays and it definitely raised the bar for the future. I don't know if another series will top it this year. I will definitely re-watch this in the future. Was this review helpful to you?
