Watching this drama first after my hiatus from C-drama. Hopefully I can finish it bcs there are a lot of drama that I've been putting on hold bcs of my sudden break. Second time with FL after story of kunning palace. First time watching ML, I saw their other modern drama but I thought I wld start with this first. So Li Susu needs to destroy Tantai Jin's evil bones. So then Ye Xiwu, from what her servant behaved she kind of a brat. Ah.. Gongye was the 2ndML and now he was Prince Lin. WAIT THE PLOT TWIST. TANTAI JIN WAS WHOSE HUSBAND??? So that was where the evil bones was. Hmm.... I mean, they kind of make it obvious before only we don't realise it. My question is does this ye binchang, ye xiwu's elder sister was white lotus personified?

This man was on top of a building being like "I'll murder all the immortals" haahahahahha and for what I wanna know why he's doing this so bad. ANd every time he flies I love the effects on his dress at the back it's beautiful, also the scene where they were attacking each other, the light s dark was so pretty and it made me think of L&R(everything makes me think of L&R). This man is a queencard and he knows it cause the sass he possesses, the way he walks, his movements, the way he talks, everything is just perfect. And his mortal self also seems kinda sassy.If that character from the drama with Yang Zi was like this maybe I wouldn't have hated him so much for him abusing her, everyone likes him and I don't understand.

The first time i saw this, the first episode already took my breath away. The costume is extremely detailed and gorgeous. The CG was very pretty. I ended up rewatching this drama few times. Must watch for Xianxia 2023!!!

Fast paced start. FL was phenomenal. The music was on point, specially when at atimes it'd completely stop, then start again; such a unique way of adding tension.

First impressions last. And not only did it last on my consciousness, it snapped me up whole and never let me go. From the first second down to the end credits, the seamless introduction of characters, the epic music, the mesmerizing CGI and of course the impecabble acting of the leads will grip you and make you want more of this story.

Great opening , loved the theme, great special effects. dg is very handsome !!! Already hooked after first 30 mins :)

The opening is dramatic. Love the scene where Susu shoot to injured DG face . The scene where YXW was chased by the mob ...lol turned out she hired them herself.

Lost for words. Beautiful and lively. Good cast and good props. Good lighting and graphics. By far my top favourite epic film, movie, drama i have ever watched.

TTJ was majestic. His expression was so benevolent and so was his voice, but he's here to wreck mayhem.
Bail Lu has never disappointed me so far.

The Mighty Demon God! ML's acting is Superb! Good visuals too! I just can't hate the Devil God because he looks way too Fabulous in his role!

Throughout my years of watching and viewing the xianxia and wuxia Chinese genre, I realize many repeated patterns and obstacles. Heck I even see the patterns of characterization.At this point, I've just began to see how important the first episode is. The episode sets the mood for the entire show and allows the audience to be immersed in the drama. So far, this episode has done a great job at allowing me to be immersed in the story without going through the entire storyline. The intro lines are kind of within expectations but this is the first time I'm really liking the first episode.

The best first episode in any Xianxia ever. Hands down. Wish it was longer. I have watched this episodes possibly more than a dozen times. Cannot get enough of it.

It is action-packed, intriguing, and very gripping. The acting is excellent, and the CGI screams expensive. I love every costume in Episode 1, so gorgeous.

The pace, storyline, and most of all, the chemistry between Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu goes far beyond my expectation. CGI is better than most high production movies.

Tbh the start struck me as the typical cdrama cliche plot, but then we get to know a lot of new stuff which diverges far far away from what I had believed it to be. Unlike the eutopian heavenly realm plots of most cdrama, this gives a refreshing dystopia! Apart from the interesting plot, I give a lot of credit to the artistic team of the show, the elaborate sets, costumes and props are truly a wonder to look at. It feels as if we are getting another fairy and the devil level drama or perhaps even better...

Where do I even begin. I had mountain high expectations for this drama and it managed to exceed every single one of them.The CGI is sooo good it makes you wish you were watching this in a big theatre. The way the spell formations turn into deity shapes blew my mind.Absolutely breathtaking cinematography. As soon as the fl travels to 500 years before past, there's not much CGI, since they're mortals. This time the cinematography kicks in and oh boy is that a treat to the eyes. Too good, just too good. And oh god the sound effects!!!!Luo Yunxi is just on another level. This kind of acting deserves nothing less than an Oscar or more. I love love the costumes, the magic, the sceneries, the characters everything.Watch at your own risk, cuz once you watch this nothing else might come close to this level of cinematic wonder.And all this was just the first episode lol.
