Nobleman Ryu's wedding is also a historical Korean BL
Nobleman Ryu's wedding also contains a ML that is a kpop idol
Nobleman Ryu's wedding also contains a ML that is a kpop idol
They both are bl k-dramas with the same setting (Joseon Dynasty) They also are miniseries with 8 episodes, approximately 10 minutes each.
Both are short length historical dramas in which the one ML is in an arranged marriage with the other ML's sister. When she runs away from the wedding, he disguises himself as his sister and marries the FL in her place, a ruse which is quickly discovered by the other ML. The two decide to keep the secret for now.
Both are queer webseries, specifically in the BL/GL genre. Meaning they're lighthearted, have shallow stories, and each has a slightly more serious element to it. I recommend them if you don't want to think too hard. They're similar in that both of them feel like they are based on webcomics. While Legend of Yun Qian is magical, Nobleman Ryu is not, though both take place in the past as a costume drama. Are either of these the best thing out there? Not really. But that doesn't matter to everyone. If you know you are easily pleased by BL/GL web series with a light hearted feel, then go for it.
Similar premise - in Don't Touch Me, Your Majesty ML time travels and has to cross-dress as a concubine, while in Nobleman Ryu's Wedding ML has to cross-dress and become a stand-in for his sister. Both have extremely low budgets, but Don't Touch Me, Your Majesty is a parody, while Nobleman Ryu's Wedding is (slightly) more serious.
