Let's talk about Leo and Fiat
I can't believe it's over. "What am I going to watch now?," crossed my mind during the final moments of the last episode. A few minutes ago I finished the 4th round.I found Fiat and Leo back in the day in TharnType: 7 Years of Love where they gave us the first glimpse of their undeniable chemistry that knows no rival and stirred up quite a drama in our beloved TT's relationship.
So let's take a brief look back on how Leo and his baby cub Fiat debuted. Fiat took off as an impulsive and childish villain who tries to hit a nail between Tharn and Type despite of Leo's efforts to stop him without realizing that Fiat's true feelings belong to him. Leo, who practically raised Fiat is willing to do anything for him out of love that has grown since their childhood. The disaster that this unconditional love creates paves a way towards their romantic relationship. The disaster that also puts Type in harms way but does not fall flat on either of their stories. After all, Type needed this little nudge to acknowledge Tharn's worth and push their relationship forward from the standstill where Type's conservative mindset had left it.
It was only natural that I would pick up the spin-off series "Don't Say No" which dives deeper into the stories of Fiat and Leo with whom I already had fallen madly in love with and it does not disappoint. Just like the Korean tv-series "It's Okay Not to be Okay", both rom-coms dig deep into personal growth, tackle mental health issues, family affairs and the healing power of love. The narrative hits home with the harshness on how our family issues and social affairs transform not only the society we live in but our lives individually. You can love or hate our two heroes but one cannot ignore that they are a fine example of ordinary people and their emotional mess no matter how strong they pretend to appear. In all honesty I could read Fiat like a book. I've met him before- he lives in me. I, too am an emotional person but show it to only a very few people just like Fiat opens his vulnerable side only to Leo. Also a Leo resides in me- my affectionate self who takes care of my close ones unconditionally like Leo does. So when you look closely, those two young men make a one person. They are two sides of the same coin offering one another a satisfaction of revealing their true selves. One needs the other to care for them and another needs to be needed.
I appreciate Fiat's character- he is vulnerable, immature, reckless, reacts before he thinks. He is an emotional boy with a deep soul who is begging to be loved and whose self-defense is counter-attack. As a child who escapes from abusive home and is welcomed by Leo's family, he awakens Leo's nurturing, protective, fatherly side. Leo who himself is a kid, maybe a year or 2 older, ends up taking care of Fiat. Together they complete each-other, create an unbreakable bond and along the way fall in love yet both lack courage to confess that love. They are a fine example of how important honest communication is and how misunderstanding one-another can result in mistakes that can't be undone and trigger saying things that can't be taken back.
The series indicates that loving-kindness goes a long way and reminds us to keep an open mind. It proves that patience, understanding, caring about one-another, ability to listen, as well as acceptance, tolerance, and forgiveness are crucial to not only for personal healing but also fundamental for building strong, long-lasting, nurturing relationships which stick through tough challenges whatever those may be. The perfect imperfection is the underlying beauty of Leo/Fiat's history. Presenting complex stories and personalities like these help to build kinder, more mature societies where judgement, victim-blaming, 'slut' shaming has no place. Wasn't this the point that Leo's mother was trying to make?! "You've got nothing to apologize for or feel bad about," she said, "you weren't even dating Leo at the time." Isn't our society exactly like Fiat's fussy multi-layered persona? Shall we follow his lead and with little effort change our community for the better one step at a time. I have faith that gradually we will create a more beautiful world for all. One just has to try. "You can't or you haven't tried someone once said," Leo quoted.
Here I raise a glass to all real life Leos and Fiats. Cheers!

WHAT A PITY
a) StoryBefore starting my review I have to say that I have watched the entire series. It is said that I haven't just because I have just gone through the last three episodes because I didn't wanna watch them. I have appreciated the first nine episodes and also the 10th cause I know what happened even if I didn't see it all. I have wanted for a long time to rate this series with a different grade like 8.5 or even 9 cause I was enjoying it a lot. The type of story that goes from friendship to love is also one of my favourite ones. I just lose interest in this work when I understand what was going to happen in the last two episodes. I know there are good scenes even there but I didn't wanna watch them because I knew that every time is the same thing, every time are gonna happened those nasty events that you don't wanna see. The question is why, why are these occurrences always on screen? In my opinion, the series will be watched even without them.
I gave at the story 7 because the first nine episodes were charming: all the things were going well, the characters were talking to each other (and this is rare) and solving problems together like a real couple would have done. I also found some characters interesting like Fiat's mother's one because I have always seen problems associated with rivals (like King) and homophobic parents but she was different. Secondly, although his actions at the end, my favourite persona so far was Leo. He was there when needed, he was always fighting for Fiat and supporting him, he was not against having fun too and properly jealous. Don't you think that he is similar to Dean from Until We Meet Again?
b) Acting
The acting was well done. First was the number one for me: his crying scenes were awesome like the ones with his parents. Ja was pretty good too but sometimes his expressions were strange, I don't know how to express myself, I just could understand that he was acting. James, Smart and the others also did a great job.
Love scenes were cute, so cute, with both the main and the side couple I felt the affinity between the two actors. I have to say that I don't like when they say something like: «I have to leave or you will be in danger» «I won't be able to stop myself». These are cringe sentences that for me can be omitted. I noticed the quick changing of the atmosphere, from sweet to seducing during LeoFiat scenes, something that I appreciated. Further, I enjoyed the fact that Fiat got some experience in sex, thanks to this those scenes were more attractive. Regarding Leon and Pob I loved the way they kissed, for the fact that Smart took James' neck and not his cheek.
c) Music
The songs were enjoyable, differently from the effects during the episodes. I can understand that this series was a little dramatic sometimes and that those effects could help defuse the atmosphere but they were too many.
d) Rewatch value
I have rewatched the first seven episodes at least three times each; regarding the others, I have just viewed my favourite scenes. I must say that this series was gorgeous and I am sorry about my rating but I am so disappointed in the last episodes.
P.S. I don't consider the rewatch value in my final rating.
thank you for reading my review :)

Storyline
Just watched this series but didn't really find it exciting. I myself found pob and Leons interaction annoying. It was neither here nor there. Leo and fiats romance dragged on with fiat having sulky moments and Leo putting up with it. I found the mother embarrassing how she held onto fiat in front of her own sons something a mother wouldn't do in a real life situation.Fiat did say he slept around to gain Leos attention. Why he just didn't confess to Leo that his friendship with him had gotten more serious at least it would have made it easier for both of them but as my hubby said its not in the script..The actor who played Fiat was eye candy. All in all it was OK but not OK. The script was all over the place but no doubt everyone tried their best.

i will never get out of my dsn phase
fav fav fav it's really good! the acting was really good right from the get-go, you can tell how starting out how leo and fiat were so awkward i could feel it. also the bickering between the characters i felt was very realisticeven though there were a lot of nc scenes, they still executed them in a natural way, especially for some of the character's traits being more sexually active, etc etc. it brought some maturity into the story.
i especially love leonpob because it's like a breath of fresh air lolol they are fluffy asl
donezo

Enjoyed the series a lot!
This is my favorite type of series you would enjoy a lot. Love all the characters except one, I have to say I am not a fan of Fiat he tends to annoy me throughout the series and yet keeps saying that he will mature and still acts like a child throughout the series. I love Leo, Leon, the twins, and Pob. The whole cast has good chemistry, but not at all a fan of the spoiled child Fiat. The storyline was great and I love how there were multiple issues to fix and get into with the parents and relationship, but for me, I just did not see the chemistry between Leo and Fiat it did not work for me. Love how they showed issues with each other the brothers Leo and Leon and showed great development and growth in characters and personalities. But sadly fell short on Fiat as I don't see any growth in him and just shows he is a spoiled brat with major insecurities who only uses sex. Fiat does not show any real growth or adulthood and stays the same way even after all that he went through he is a disappointment as a character, sadly not a fan of the actor either who plays him, don't get the feel of good chemistry between Leo and Fiat. But I do love the series for everyone else, even the parents are amazing in this series. Was this review helpful to you?

How can someone rate it negatively?
I really loved this Show, I seriously cannot understand those who rate the series negatively. The series dealt with a number of problems that many individuals in societies suffer from, and which many people may not pay attention to, and I loved that very much. This is apart from the amazing actors and the wonderful chemistry between them. I really love Ja & First and I hope to see them in other dramas. If they weren't together.
As far as I remember, this is the fourth time I have re-watched the drama without getting bored.

The Second Best Ever BL Drama
This is the second best ever BL drama that i have seen. The actors that played the character Fiat and Leo are supergood. They are so cute and sexy and they have a connection just like my nr.1 best ever thai BL drama.
The actors are just playing their roles so good and so amazing.
The main actor and his partner in this thai BL drama is so hot and so sexy. They are also my new favorite actors.
I really hope to see a second season of Dont Say No !
I believe that Fiat and Leo should get married as well and have a happy ending despite all the trouble that arises.
Leo and Fiat are a match for each other.
Love both actors.

better than tharntype for sure
soofiat is a boy who has an unrequited love with Leo his childhood best or so he thinks because Leo loves him more than his life but timid fiat doesn't understand that like bro if you look at his eyes you can understand that they like eachother
like god Leo looking at fiat has my heart beating faster i mean i want a boyfriend like him..
this is just the cliche both like eachother but don't want to ruin their friendship type story
i like the possessiveness and how Leo always asked for consent i mean sometimes it was a little bothering because fiat obviously wants Leo to kiss him but Leo then also asks for consent but whatever it's a plus point
but it's the same problem in them COMMUNICATION they don't have that but by the end they do communicate but it's just frustrating that i am crying over them because they don't want to communicate clearly
and yeah their spice uff those necklace oh my goodness i love their necklace and when Leo kisses fiat with the necklace ???
the story of his childhood and the toxic mom and everything is a little sad and i love how he has Leo always with him
now rhe others Leon, pob,AEK,tho,an and everyone( i forgot an's girlfriend name and thos friends name?) love them
even though towards the end their friendship is not as shown as much loved it and wanted more but there wasn't much even in the special episode but i love it
i loved an and her girlfriends relationship
and i love that Leon and pob and tho and AEK are getting their own series yayyyy i loved sont say no i hope to see more of the characters ❤️❤️

This series so FUNNY!!!!! ?
To tell you after watching TharnType, I wasn't even aware such a funny series like this was already airing, OMG!!!!! After watching TharnType S:2, 7 Years of Love and viewing Ja and First as Leo and Fiat, I IMMIDIATELY hoped they had a series of their own, Fiat is so funny and childish, it.... is..... CUTE!!!!! ??Leo, that rich responsible caring husband, a round for him AND his accepting Mom? I wanted them to make a colab with TharnType (not like in episode 0 of DSN), of their relationship so far, after their feelings so far and the rest, OH!!!!! And I so wanted Leon and his boyfriend (in the series) to be together in the end (in the DSN:Special), but unsure if it was clearly officially yk.... yeah!10/10 MUST WATCH, a combination of Funny, Sweet, and FUNNY!!!!!
I highly reccommend watching this AFTER watching both seasons/all seasons of TharnType, after that, watch 2gether the series, not connected to them but also WORTH IT!!!!!
These series were my absolute beginner and forever cherished moments/series ?

Burn all Mame's novels, I beg you
First off, I would like to say I really enjoyed watching the first episodes. The couple was portraying pretty cute scenes, the plot was okay, and it seemed too good to be a work from Mame. But then the problems started to appear. All that blackmailing stuff and King forcing Fiat to sleep with him (sexual assault again, hello???). They barely focused on how Fiat was feeling, it's like Mame had thought "since Fiat used to sleep with a lot of guys, he wouldn't mind being forced to sleep with another one!". Then, the final episode with Leo basically describing an abusive behavior while telling Fiat he would keep him only for himself, although he was doing so well on the first half of the series :/ Fiat seemed to be into it but like... baby that's not the standards you should be going for in a man!!! I just think they ruined the main couple for me. I liked them a lot before, specially Fiat (felt so bad for all that slutshaming), but idk I hate these tropes so I didn't want to say I absolutely ship them nowadays.Regarding the second couple, I don't really have complaints, seriously! I know some people said it was a little bit boring or they didn't like the dynamic, but actually I loved them together. I know their start was a total cliché and we needed more scenes to know if we were going to get a worthy good couple. However, their development proved we could enjoy some cheesy scenarios and conversations without hating it. I personally liked a lot how Pob started to show his cuteness and calm - but happy to be there - face to Leon more often. All their scenes in Pob's room were the sweetest. Shout out to two scenes: the first one, where they're having dinner and Pob tells Leon his childhood story, mentioning his loving father. Leon seemed so invested and caring about it, and him saying reassuring words to Pob and ending the scene with a kiss and a hug was the death of me! I got really emotional throughout this whole sequence, and although the acting is not perfect, they gave me the emotion I needed. The second scene (kind of a sequence too) is where Leon surprises Pob with cat plushies, and is comforting him after Pobjer's death, mentioning Pob's father to compare to Pobjer being Pob and him crossed. It means he really payed attention to everything Pob had said about his father and I really found it so cute. It's a shame they didn't end up oficcially together, but at least they didn't end the series hating each other, and they dated for some sort of time, we could enjoy while it lasted!
In conclusion, kisses for LeonPob, therapy for LeoFiat, and prison for Mame <3

Unexpected like
Ok. This was much better than I thought it was going to be. I didn't want to like N'Fiat after what he did to N'Tharn and N'Type but i ended up melting towards him. It may be because i didn't want N'Leo to be hurt but nevertheless i really enjoyed this show and see them grow together and see N'Fiat grow up at last. On a side note how hard is it to say "I will wait for you, however long that is."I know if my lover was going away I would wait until the end of the world for them to come back to me, if I really loved them that much.
I feel that N'Leon and N'Pob really got the short end of the stick in this story
