Vanilla
Perfectly palatable romance drama missing some zest.ML is nice and cordial. He falls first bt is a more passive personality with some hidden black belly character. But overall if you are to define him as a flavor: Hes mild.
FL is one track mind and comes off as a lil clumsy. Overall she gives off a cutesy vibe. But theres something missing and I had a hard time forming a rapport with her.
The nephew/ god son: hes the gem. Truly adorable similar to his other drama. His cheekiness translates through the screen. Hes the one adding fuel to main couple's engine
Other loveline: sister's story was nice, good juxtapose to MC and also written to be linked to ML's backstory.
Overall plot and flow: Mixed reviews
The good: Started well. Desserts are beautiful and created with story and meaning. ML finally lead his own drama, he has this gentle boy next door vibe and his acting never came off obstentacious. FL is new to me, she did fine, some minor overacting.
The Hmmm: The way its written wasnt engaging. Meanin I watch a few episodes, didnt felt the need to bingewatch, watch something else and after awhile pick up when i remember. Acting wise, FL also not reciprocating enough onscreen so the im-deeply-in-love with you vibe is missing. Hence the chemistry does not come off as that strong. After you finish you realise theres nothing that memorable about this drama. Its jus vanilla, nice, kinda sweet but lacks any punch.

This is a nice romance drama with a heartwarming story of love from different aspects (familial, friendship, and personal relationships). The drama is not perfect but the actors did well delivering their characters. The leading couple’s relationship is sweet and lovely but slow burned and the second lead couple had a more intimate and mature romantic storyline. Although the drama brings about some conflicts that antagonize the relationships (PTSD, vindictive ex-boyfriend, infatuated coworker), it feels like these issues are not examined or explained in depth. Even so, the drama will delight the palate and warm the heart. Enjoy it! Was this review helpful to you?
Cute drama specially the kido
Kido always been my favourite and I am looking forward to see him again.Very cute drama . All the character were too adult so mature role didn't suit on them . But story was good and actors too so.
I like the drama . One thing I want to ask the director when she had drunk with her ex love ,the unrequited one . So the male lead went to her by car to take her . But when he was taking her back to home so he carried her on his shoulder and took her home by walk not by car ,so my question is where is the car ?

Sweet and healing
If you're looking for something sweet and fluffy, this is it..It's about a (FL) food blogger and a (ML) rich dessert chef who because of her nephew whose parents were going through a divorce, was sent to stay with his god-father(ML) who has a more stable environment. The FL was coerced to stay at his home to look after the kid.
Liked:
Sweet romance☑️
Supportive family /parents☑️
Warming up ML☑️
Co-habitation ☑️
Cute kid☑️
Not draggy but fast paced (fill in the blanks yourself)?☑️
Didn't like:
Repetitive scenes as fillers

Fluffy and cute!
I decided to give short Chinese dramas another try, and I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It’s simple, sweet, and full of fluff. The storyline follows the familiar trope of the ML and FL being forced to cohabit, along with the usual cute kid who brings them together.I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a short drama filled with cuteness. I love that the misunderstandings between the leads don’t linger for long, making it an enjoyable watch to pass the time.
My only downside is that it took him a while to confess to her, but the affection after the confession was so cute that I can only knock it down half a star

Be Accepting of Those Struggling with Mental Health Issues
This drama was carried by the ML who was really quite charming and handsome. I found this a slightly above mediocre drama with pretty green actors and actresses but, kudos to them for being so earnest and for clearly trying hard! <3What I liked about this drama:
- There weren't that many annoying and crazy villains.
- The ML was good looking and he made the show believable.
- The FL was pretty okay. It was great that she wasn't an annoying FL.
- The show moved along.
- The desserts looked mighty delicious.
- Minimal angst as things were resolved fairly quickly (as this is a fairly short drama).
- Happy ending.
- Teaches viewers that people with mental health issues are people who are also trying hard to live and to live well. Yes, they are troubled and depressed but they are trying to overcome and they are trying to live well. Show encourages viewers to be more accepting and less judgmental. People should not make a spectacle of those with mental health issues.
What I didn't like about this drama:
- The actors and actresses were pretty green IMO especially the lads who were working with ML and the supporting cast members. Nonetheless, it was clear that they were trying hard to play their roles well and so, I applaud them for their efforts. Everyone has to start somewhere and then, improve from there.
- The ML's sister should not have made everything about ML. True, she cared for him but was her method of care what he wanted?
Overall, this drama is all right as a filler or a light snack before moving on to something more "meaty" or as a breather after watching something "heavy".
:o)

A light and pleasant film with a good ending
I came across this movie by accident and was wondering if I should watch it. I decided to watch it because of the small number of episodes and short episodes of 30 minutes and the fact that the last historical dramas I watched got me quite depressed with their dramas, so I wanted to watch something to relax. And I don't regret it. It looks nice. The main leads are young, creative in business. They try to realize their dreams and passions. Although the main ML has a childhood trauma, he finally manages to overcome these demons of the past and bond with the main FL lead.
There is also a caring sister of the main ML who supports him in his struggles with depression. However, I missed more feeling between the main leads, especially FL, which was emotionally distant almost to the end. I didn't feel any deep affection between them. Though the main ML was more expressive about it and had a very nice warm expression in general once he realized he was in love with FL.
I liked the cookies that the main ML created and the way they were made and how he described them...each cookie had its own story and that was cool. So I recommend this movie for relaxation and a break from those dramas with a heavy, depressing plot.

Hidden Gem!
When I started watching this show, I wasn't expecting much from it, but gradually the couple grew in my heart. It somewhere beautifully discusses the significance of mental health in this fast-paced world and at the same time portrays a healthy cute and sweet relationship of the main leads. Totally a stress-busting show.P.S our Rui Rui spread his magic once again on his new project :)
SPOILER: I loved the scene in which the girl found the guy when he was in distress and the way she approached him. In the 15th episode, the way girl slowly step by step walks towards him by asking questions like "Can you hear me?" "Can I hold your hand?" "Can we take some deep breaths?" I just loved how maturely the makers showed this scene of supporting someone whose mental trauma has gotten triggered
OVERALL A GREAT HIDDEN GEM. WILL SURELY WATCH IT WHENEVER I WANT A DOSE OF POSITIVITY

Sweet, light and surprisingly healthy drama
This was a nice surprise. It's a pretty light hearted drama, even though it does touch on the topic of mental illness. It's actually the first time I've seen this topic portrayed in such a healthy, positive light in a cdrama and it was heartwarming to see.Highlights:
- healthy, natural relationship between main couple. It's more innocent like, but it's very cute and their interactions didn't feel forced.
- the display of healthy male friendship
- the suuuuuper rare healthy family dynamics, specially from the FL's side
- the lack of super duper evil villain or unnecessary over the top angst
Could have been better:
- it does lack a bit of punch for my persornal taste, buuuut I don't think it was the original intention of the drama anyways

Hoping that my godchild can find me my true love jk!
At first, I was hesitant to watch this due to I felt like the ML is too cute for the FL, but as time goes by their chemistry hit me. I like how they act, it's not cringe, also the plot went smoothly and direct to the point unlike other chinese drama that are so long and have cliche parts. It's stress free, also i just realize that Xiaobao or should I say Rui Rui had the same plot genre in Unforgettable Love, we all wish to have a godson/nephew like him to find our true love lmao. Kidding aside all the episode was so worth it, it puts me a lot of butterflies in my tummy, I want to fall in love again because of this drama. Very recommended drama such as A Love So Beautiful, very chill and not toxic it's good for your mental health. I started watching it around 10pm and I finished it in 3am HAHAHAHA, I can't sleep if I will not finish it I will just get curious what will happen next episode. Hoity- Toity! Was this review helpful to you?

fluffy, cute, fast, comforting and no disapproving parents
This drama is one of the best 2022 C dramas I've watched. Unlike all the long and kinda boring rom coms, this drama was just right for me, maybe another episode would be good since one ep was only 20mins+. I guess this drama is really worth the watch if youre looking for something to binge in one day. The drama also talks about healing, trama, family problems and the way of today's society. This drama really comforts me being able to relate to some of the characters. In a way this drama reminds me of Our beloved summer although the plot and many things might be different. There's also a healthy relationship between the ML and the ML with the partners family. There was no headache when it came to the ML family meeting instead supporting and approving relationship. At the beach during the FML school's graduation party(?) she was about of confess to her crush when something happened so she got drunk. Thinking about giving her confession another shot she sees him on the beach and finally confesses... However that "him" is not the him she was looking for. That "him" she confessed to was the MML who at that time wasn't at the best place in his life. Unknowingly on that day the FML saved his life.
Few years later they meet again at his bakery. He remembers who she is, but she doesn't.
This drama is really worth the watch especially for that little kid.

Fluff Meets a Mild Depression With Thoughts of Suicide
This drama has a whole lot of eye candy and fluff, but very little substance and makes. no sense what so ever. One moment it is light, the next dark and then light again but it is the same day... The decisions people make, lines of communication and plot development makes me wonder if the writer of this drama has been stuck at a cabin by the beach with no internet after experiencing amnesia as it is completely detached from reality.
That said, the drama is very pretty, there are a bunch of boys in this drama that seem to be purely there to be looked at or as fillers between censured parts... they have a guitar and I am pretty sure two of them are supposed to be gay but won´t tell us because of the usual Chinese censorship.
I also learned that dessert is a completely valid form of communication... a cold male lead may not be able to use words but if a picture can say 1000 words a dessert will convey 1000 emotions....
The female lead of this drama is really sweet and cute, besides the not making any sense I find both her and the male lead decent to watch. And so are the boys but there are alos a whole lot of annoying side characters and the ususal parants without bonderies... getting on my nerves more than once.
I also like that they try to show people coping with mental illness as capable human beings worthy of love even if they made this a bit to simple and again nothing actually made much sense and this storyline was kind of detached from reality... But still I feel that it is the thought that counts.
So what can I say, this is an okay watch just do not expect anything to make sense or any type of consistency in the characters.
P.s. there is a cute kid in here (who's storyline does not make any sense either)
