just okay-ish
Had the potential to be really interesting but something felt off.....I didn't really comprehend the story of Ian Chase and his brother....I mean I got the picture but it felt fragmented and very complicated......I think the story being told in flashbacks and them being identical twins also added to my confusion.....I liked the relationship between Kang Da Jung and her mom the best......The main's lead romance was cute and sweet....a typical k-drama one but still nice to see......I would have liked to see the pairing between Eun Ha and Tae Joon fleshed out....Was this review helpful to you?

Lovely healing romantic drama. Shame about the unravelling plots
Genre meshing is very common in k-drama. Supernatural/romance, romance/crime and many other combos. A lot of the time it works and that is usually because the plot grew around each other organically. In this case, the opposite happened. Before you assume this is a negative review, it is not. I really liked this drama and the romance/healing plots were so well done and it was so sweet in a natural way. The crime/revenge plot was also very intriguing and complex, it is the lack of cohesion between the two at the later stage of the drama that pains me.
In terms of the positives, the acting from the cast is great. There were the odd overacting but their characters demanded it, otherwise it was well above average. The love story was cliché but seasoned actors pulled it off and pulled you into their lives so that you really want to swoon at their cheesy antics. The cinematography was wonderful. So many scenes were beautifully shot with depth and nuisances. Some were very thought provoking and impactful as well. Ditto the use of colour and lighting to signify moods. The production values were good all round and the OST was thematic. Most rooftop dwelling in k-drama equate cheap and cheerful housing for the lower income protagonists but this one is luxe. I want to live somewhere like that!
Now the not so good bits. The main issue for me is the two main plots were intertwined in the beginning and the crime side was very impactful for a few episodes but then it started to head off into its own space. There were intersecting points along the way but it felt like meeting of acquaintances rather than close friends. This is a shame as the crime thriller side could stand on its own but there was only about an hour of solid footage in 16 episodes. The tonal shift between the main sunny romance plot and the much darker revenge plot was getting uncomfortable as the show progress and the relationship between the OTP and the 2ML become more and more tenuous. It was never jarring but it does beg the question what impact does one plotline have on the other and the answer is not a lot. I'm sure the writer wanted us to see the self destructive nature of the revenge plot but it yin-yang too much. In the end. I pretty much focused on the romantic stories and basked in the warm sunshine and frolicked with the unicorns while paying less and less attention to the revenge subplot. I think that is a shame but I was shipping the OTP too hard to suddenly shift my mood 180 degrees every so often just because the writer-nim wanted me to.
I would still recommend this drama but treat it almost as if it is two separate dramas and how much enjoyment you get out of this will depend on where your focus is.

Starts well easy viweing and ends in a muddled mess
The good parts.I like the male ML, I thought the charector was appealing, and the actor is like a warm hug in the role.
The thriller element was well handled at the start and the idea that the various characters are linked by the building.
The female ML, there seemed no character development, but the idea of two people gently finding each other was nice.
Bad points.
They tried to join two genres and didn't make it work, and the plot was a mess at the end.
Some story lines were totally rubbish, and my pet hate, adults in their late thirties being portrayed as immature teenagers, especially when they are supposed to have responsible professional jobs . Who would let themselves be bullied in to a spoilt virtual stranger staying in their home with no proper explanation or need?
The constant use of the plot device of people not telling people important information, and then not explaining why afterwards X had happened.
If you have worked in health care or hotels you have seen a lot of human nature, so you are not easily shocked, but you would have a have responsibilities to other staff for their safety.
The ML's relationship later wasn't treated like an adult couple, I know it may have something to do with the rating, transmission time slot, but they were still depicted as being immature in their relationship and its just not believable.
Some in another review the reviewer dropped it at Ep9 and that is probably where it should have wrapped up, as I watched it all and was really disappointed by the end.

It's a slow-burn romance ....
I expected this drama to be a psychological mystery-thriller with a little bit romance as a side plot. Turns out the show is actually a slow-burn romance drama with a detached murder case worth 5-10 min of each episode. I guess that’s why I couldn’t help but be disappointed in this show. The cinematography is great and some scenes were really beautiful and moving, but that couldn't make up for the lacking plot. Literally nothing happened. That’s so unfortunate, especially because the first two episodes looked so promising. I gave up on the show after 12 episodes and watched the rest in skipping motions just to know what happens (little spoiler: almost nothing). I don’t know, if you like a show full of cute and pretty scenes, deep dialogues and little drama, you might like “You are my Spring”. If you are mainly here because you are interested in the murder-mystery aspect, you are definitely going to be disappointed. Was this review helpful to you?
Good character development and all characters rather friendly likeable and well intended .
Th murder story had me puzzled until its denouement . Yoon Park frozen statuesque attitude was heavy . I felt like shaking him . It left me cold and irritated . That side of the story could have been sped up .
On the whole a good series which I will watch again .

Not Sure Why This Isn't Getting More Love
The cinemaphotography is both unusual and gorgeous and *completely* sets the mood for some scenes; the acting is subtle, yet expressive. Has this been marketed wrong as a fluffy romance?!? There are just enough characters to make it dimensional without losing focus on the mains.Crime, comedy, romance, heart, grit... it has it all. The writing staff deserves a big hug or a round of beers. Actually, they deserve both.
Honestly, the best drama - K or otherwise - I have seen in years.
Really hoping it doesn't run out of good steam.

well paced, good story, beautiful acting
This drama just recently caught my eyes, and immediately I'm hooked. Watched all episodes 1 to 6 in a day. Don't know how to put it, is it a love story? a mystery/thriller? But one thing for sure, so far, everything are just beautifully done. The story, the paced, the characters. There's a good mix of things that make it kinda special. The characters have a good backstory that really can justify the way they response in each situation, something that a lot of drama don't have. Hopefully the writer and director can maintain the quality of this drama till the very end. Based on 6 episodes that I've watched, this is a really good drama. Oh.. and the reason i'm giving this only an 8, is because it only has 6 episodes aired when i write this review. Looking forward for new episodes to air.Was this review helpful to you?
Not worth it
I was so excited for this drama and the first 2 episodes did not let me down. They were dark and mysterious with a thrilling vibe thrown in. Awesome. Then episode 3 hit and they pulled the old switchero of kdramaland, which always leaves me feeling deceived as if they were just trying to use the first couple of episodes to hook me. You know when the first few episodes of some shows are super exciting and then suddenly the pace slows wayyy down? This show did that, but on steroids. Nothing actually ever happened again. The show did a 360 and went from a unique thriller/romance/mystery to a romcom, a boring one. Literally it went from an exciting murder mystery to sitting on the beach talking about nothing to do with the plot. Characters just walking around. Even scenes of them dressing up for Halloween (what does this have to do with a murder mystery again?) You get the point. It has some amazing cinematography, but that doesn't make up for the dud plot. The performances were decent, but there was no real chemistry between the leads, and the only one who gave a performance really worth watching was the villain. I made it to episode 6 and couldn't do this to myself anymore. There are much better shows to spend 16 hours on.

Fallire miseramente
Inizio ottimo.Premesse fantastiche.
Attori molto bravi, sopratutto Yoon Park.
