Insane chemistry between our five beloved Running Man members
Outrun by Running Man learns from other well loved variety shows and takes their best elements to create this spin-off series. The mystery, puzzles, and escape rooms from Busted and Great Escape; the cooking and meal sharing from Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant; and the making of projects from Hangout With Yoo... But that's not all - long time Korean variety show enjoyers reminiscing on the comedic campfire shenanigans from Family Outing and 2 Days & 1 Night will be completely satisfied. Outrun combines all of these together and executes it - in its own chaotic, Running Man style!
The show brings us back to the early days of the original Running Man series with their unfiltered conversations; the cast are noticeably a lot more at ease, as they are able to be comfortable being themselves with each other and with their guests, making the interactions in this show feel a lot more raw and natural.
A season of episodes created through Haha's mischievous ideas. Episode 1 is a 10 minute meeting between Suk Jin, Haha, Jong Kook and Se Chan which details and gives a preview of what's to come. Give this first episode a watch to determine whether they are topics you'd like to see, because that's exactly what you'll get - and more!

Do you remember the iconic moment in early Running Man with Ace Ji Hyo and Tiger Jong Kook wearing their security outfits in the airport, hunting for their prey with the bell on their leg? The fear, the betrayal and the scheming? A full length episode of the nostalgic, old-time name-tag-ripping game returns, capturing the authentic essence that early RM had.
Those familiar with our well-loved, silly-king: Kim Jong Min will have a blast watching this as Outrun deliberately tackles the cast from 2D1N, the RM rival which has always shared the same time slot for the past 11 years! Can you imagine him in a fight against the likes of Haha?!
A bonus if you've watched Ji Hyo's The Witch's Diner series! It doesn't quite turn out as you'd expect it to when the customers arriving are the three Troublemakers, giving the Witch a headache instead..!
Fans turning to the show expecting it to out-perform the original variety shows it parodies will be disappointed; the sports games were dull, and the puzzles were bland without much complications. Instead, it is better to enjoy this series light-heartedly with the mindset of watching a gathering of friends; as they wholesomely walk down memory lane together with the RM PDs, revisit old driving missions with the cast back in the streets of Itaewon and Gwangjang Market, or get up to no good in a board game night that guarantees the players to all become drunk!
Some episodes felt like a drag to finish, while the good ones (my personal favourites: episodes 3, 8, 11-14) could easily compete to become some of the best RM episodes; the final episode was a Running Man masterpiece.
