full of sweetness
Overall: the sweet/caring dynamic is fun to watch. 12 episodes about 45 minutes each. Uncut on iQIYI https://www.iq.com/play/your-sky-episode-1-1mjy70t567o?lang=en_us ; cut on YouTube (not available in Japan or South Korea) https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcTibKbv20S4ZNMvGUzUFQZrJenvr4xCa&si=Z1iDluCF_Hhpy73L I added up the timings in ep 1 and the uncut was about 1 minute longer - I didn't see any difference between the cut and uncut versions.Question - I'm wondering if the nickname "Saggy Cheeks" would better be translated to "Squishy Cheeks" - if anyone who speaks Thai can talk about the translation please let me/us know. "Saggy Cheeks" has a negative connotation to me but I had the impression that it was a silly nickname, not a negative nickname.
Content Warnings: manipulation, non con touching/manhandling, punches, non con picture taking/sharing, coercion, transphobia
What I Liked
- showed a main character as kind through his actions at the beginning
- caring/sweet dynamic and that they communicate
- one of the few child-like characters who has agency (actively makes his own decisions)
- supportive friend group
- loving and supportive family
- that the brother figured it out/was smart and supportive
- protect mode
- non cliche ex girlfriend
- non stereotypical trans characters
Room For Improvement
- character exposition dump montage with voice over for the other main character
- the stereotypical trans woman character
- nonsense stuff: so drunk he couldn't recognize someone but still able to stand/walk and talk; friends didn't seem to know what was going on but everyone else did in ep 2, that the antagonist didn't switch his focus to someone else
- nervous about pacing with 9 episodes remaining
- some of the camera angles were odd
- in episode 6 they needed to show them filming so viewers realized that it was for the student film and didn't really happen (on/near the beach)
- in episode 7 what a character did could have killed another character, that was too violent and thus far the couple hasn't had a conversation about it
- a character randomly showed up to comfort Oh, they could have weaved in this character earlier
- (neutral) comedy sound effects

my opinion
tbh i didn't like it. ig it's just not my type. there's a lot of people who like this series but i find it very cutesy and cringy. it's totally personal. i respect others opinions too. i just wanted everyone to know about mine too. im not into these type of dramas. the storyline is nice to me. the casting is also good. i feel the acting is too plain and cutest which i don't like. im dropping the series. i look forward to the ending. I'll probably come back to this if the reviews are good. don't take the review personal guys.edit. 01/01/2025

I only write reviews if I think something is too good.
I know this show may seem a hair unconventional, but honestly, I love it so much. It’s kind of giving slow burn but without the slow burn as they are a “fake couple”. The chemistry the two leads have is amazinggggg, it has me giggling and kicking my feet constantly. The only thing I hate is the fact I couldn’t wait until the whole series aired to watch it because GODDD, I hate waiting a whole week to watch. I would’ve had this series finished in two days. I highly recommend if you’re looking for something light ( it’s at least pretty light in the beginning, could get a little messy as it goes on). But I’m sure you’ll be hooked too if you like cute shows like this one.Was this review helpful to you?
I really tried to push through this
Usually when a show has a huge fan base and high ratings. I've learned to exit stage left because I'm not about to argue with nobody about why they like the show or what makes it so special especially if I think it sucks. After all, I have several times in histrionics defended a lot of terrible shows due to my questionable but superior tastes and have fought for my life in those comment sections. This show is awfully unwatchable.
Its not like it has a ghastly terrible plot. Afterall I've seen worse. I just finished a drama about a penguin and panther ffs. its not like it needs to be the matrix before i can enjoy it, and its not like this is not manageable. It has an easy enough plot, a good chunk of attractive actors and some noticeable names...err mike. But it had such a huge glaring problem I couldn't ignore. The acting is useless, nonsense and very rubbish. Plus the characters are quite boring.
Acting/Characters
My main problem with this show is everyone in this show. The acting is extremely stiff and for some reason there are a lot of closeups of actors that dont move their faces or always look mildly concerned whenever they try to convey emotions. I swear muenfah has had the same expressions on his face since this show started. Happy, sad, excited, angry...he looks the same. Teerak is supposed to be cute but it feels forced, like maybe its the height or how everytime he speaks it feels like there's cotton in his mouth.
Then there's this one Hia. I don't even know what he's been doing....I cant quite unpack exactly what kind of facial expressions I've seen him pull off in his attempt to act.
The show has a talent problem. It feels like an advertisement for new pretty actors for the company, rather than a show with a plot, storyline, and a villian. Even the issues with Oh felt like some caricature. I wasn't amused because the teerak I've been watching is not worth that kind of effort. Sorry.
Aggrieved Thoughts
The show just feels glittery fake handbag. Its good to look at subjectively. Its very pretty, bright and shiny after all. But the closer you look the beads and sequences are falling off, it has a lot of bald spots and its not worth the price. . and definitely not worth the hype.

I am LOVING it so far ?
I know not everyone is a fan of super cute or perhaps “cringe” shows but i really find this show hilarious and super adorable. Thomas and Kong surprised me with the 🔥 scenes , i am in still complete shock how insane their chemistry is 🤣 even just throughout the show. I think there is still room for improvement though , and i love the side couples, super cute to watch :) I am also a sucker for the “ pretending to be together” shows so if you are too definitely give it a go !!! i might change this review after i finish watching it though hahaWas this review helpful to you?
Just dumb.
I have to drop this. I tried so hard to like it, but urg. Teerak is such an idiot. He just stands around and blinks. He tried to hold hands like arm wrestling. Literally holding hands is something little kids do, it's not a learned skill. He was about to stab some cabbage. Has he never even seen anyone hold a knife before? I get that some shows are over the top, but it's too much for me.Was this review helpful to you?
Same Old
In a word- boring, very slow paced. I’m halfway through all the episodes that have been streamed and not holding my interest. There naivety and innocence is dragging the story down. I’m really disappointed and might come back to speed through it but for now I’m done!😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒

A Sweet Romance With Endearing Characters
This is one of those shows that surprises you in a good way! After watching the 5 minutes long trailer that was released last month, I wasn’t exactly enthusiastic about watching this show. I’m not a huge fan of shows produced by Mandee Works Official so far and them pitching an entirely new pairing didn’t liken me to this premise. So, I was rather pleasantly surprised when I watched the pilot episode. Adapted from the novel “Your Sky” (Your sky #กี่หมื่นฟ้า) by 25.15.66, the show stars Kong Kongpob & Thomas Teetut as the main leads. An ordinary love story with an enchanting couple, “Your Sky Series” doesn’t offer anything unique in terms of storytelling. It is the same old, cliche college romance, where the campus hottie falls for a bewildering yet sweet first year. The first two episodes set the stage for the budding romance between the main characters. There is something endearing about Kong that sets the tone of this storyline. He leads the storyline with his naive attitude and innocent mindset, which is at contrast to Thomas’s reserved, stoic demeanor. A match made in heaven!

Why do I feel it is lacking?
*happy ending*The actors are handsome especially Fah and Lee. I also really like Babe. But the acting is sooo bland. Especially for Fah who stands on most scenes. Rak also has that monotonous script like tone. I dont feel the authenticity of their characters. I also feel like Fah's character as a mob rough type doesnt suit the story because most of the time he just blankly follows what Rak like a dazed robot.
I just fee like this series is something made in order to follow what Love in the Air bad boy vibes created. And after watching Fourever you, this is really lackluster. Though I will try to continue it in the future. But currently, it is not for me

A Great and Promising Start!
The first episode of Our Skyy is off to such a good start! The storyline kicks off with the classic campus setting, and the dynamic between the popular guy and the shy freshman is already super interesting. Their encounters are fun to watch—whether it’s an awkward bump-in or a more meaningful moment, every scene feels like it’s building up to something really sweet. What I loved most is how natural their interactions are. You can feel the tension between them, but it’s not over the top. The popular guy’s confidence mixed with the freshman’s nervous charm makes their scenes both entertaining and heart-fluttering. You can’t help but root for them!
Honestly, it’s a great start. If the rest of the episodes keep up this level of energy, I can already tell this series is going to be a hit. Can’t wait to see where their story goes!
