My Lovely Liar (2023)

Both dramas share the same genres: romance & semi-fantasy
The FLs in both dramas have a special ability that causes them to get involved with the respective male leads. KSS is more of a romance drama though and doesn't include a mystery arc

Both dramas feature a FL that is jaded because of her paranormal ability.
Both dramas have a mix of humour, romance and cynicism.

If you like My Lovely Liar, then I recommend He is Psychometric. It has a similar premise and storyline, but with much more fun characters, in my opinion. Both leads here have power to know facts related to people and the couple eventually working together solving one big mystery and the big question of who's done that? The reveal is also better in He's Psychometric.

The main character of the drama has supernatural power to know facts related to people. But they cannot read / know the only one person, which is a mystery in itself.

Similarities:

1. Leads with a special power that gives them insight into other people.
2. A main part of both plots is finding out the truth behind a past crime.
3. Tough, cynical FL and a soft, gentle ML where FL stands up for and protects ML.
4. Lots of cute domestic slice of life moments, IHVY is cohabitation and MLL is neighbors.
5. Emphasis on the importance on truth and lies in relationships.

The story in IHYV is a more melo, faster paced plot with higher stakes, but it's a sweet romance about the transformative power of truly loving and always supporting someone. MLL is cute but it's much slower in pace and the story falls apart in the second half, you have to hang in there for the romance.

In Pinocchio, some people get 'Pinocchio Syndrome' which makes them hiccup whenever they lie. The FL has this issue and thus can never get away with lying.

In My Lovely Liar, the FL has the ability to catch lies.

Both dramas are a bit “supernatural”, and in a way both drama leads “trust” and “believe” the other lead because of their power
Both have that “mystery stalker” threat that the whole town worries about
Plus both have the cop second lead

Both are about the main female character having a supernatural ability to "hear" people's secrets (lies vs. inner thoughts). Both have a colorful cast of characters and a mix of drama and humor.

Both of them have a male lead with trauma from a past relationship. In A Boss and a Babe, Cher's girlfriend had been abused by her dad and then killed herself because of it. In My Lovely Liar, Do Ha's girlfriend had been in a very similar situation. (won't give more information because of spoilers)

Their new partners help them get through those tough memories and feelings of guilt for being "unable to save them".

FL has a special ability in both series that has a big influence on the plot. There are mystery elements in both series and ML and FL live next door to each other. ML kind of pushes FL away at the beginning of the series.

The female lead has special ability that makes she becomes a brave girl and easy to make money. The two dramas share the same genres, namely fantasy, romcom, and mystery.

Although one drama has special ability, both dramas give off similar vibes.
- male leads is still living with an unresolved past trauma
- male lead moves into a quiet neighbourhood (MLL) | female lead moves to the countryside (HCCC)
- both leads have met each other before
- male leads led a mysterious life
- strong/tough female leads
- female lead has her own tarot cafe (MLL) | female lead has her own clinic (HCCC)

Both are similar in the sense that the woman has a superpower but it does not work around the ML. Which is what starts the romantic interest for her in him, as she thinks he is special.

difference it's a romance drama though the murder mystery.
similarly FL who possesses the ability to detect lies instead of hear voice.

Both are mystery/thriller rom-coms.
FL in MLL can hear other people’s lies as they talk whereas FL in GWIA has the ability to make rich guys who are liars/cheaters to fall in love with her after looking into her eyes.
