This is not a love story
This is not a romance kdrama. This is a story of 4 people trying their best to find companionship in a world that is often too cold for them.To be fair, I can see why people don't like this. The plot is very slow, the characters are quite downbeat and it doesn't seem like there's any point to watching this. People like watching kdramas to see leads get their big happy ending. But this drama is definitely one where it's more about the journey than the destination.
The main 4 characters you'll be taking the journey with are very complex, nuanced and realistic. They make bad decisions because people make bad decisions. They hold back their words and feelings because very often, it is hard to be brave and outspoken with someone you like. They get into relationships for the wrong reasons because that's what happens in the real world too. No human or relationship is perfect, and this drama reflects that.
If you want to watch this drama, you have to accept that you will be frustrated. You will be annoyed at the leads. You will wish things happened a little faster. I had all these feelings. But you also grow to understand them. You can see why they make the decisions they do, even if you don't like it. But just like you can't judge the decisions of a friend, you can't judge these characters' decisions either. You just have to let them make their mistakes and hope that they get their happy ending.
The 4 main actors did a fantastic job. They bring every facet of their character to life so vividly. And they're the main reason I stuck with it to the end. This drama has flaws for sure. It is slow and can become quite repetitive. But I liked it all the same, because it really is like a window to 4 human lives, in all their complexity and contradictions.
You'll like this if you enjoy dramas like My Mister or My Liberation Notes (though it isn't on the same level as those). If you're a traditional rom-com enjoyer, this isn't for you. There are no big gestures, dramatic plot twists or majestic words here. It's just 4 people doing everything they can to find someone they can be at peace with. If you want to see that journey, then watch this.

What a drag…
The premices looked good. Men and women getting to know each other and their true feelings. Hesitations, compassion, social pressure.I really was looking forward to the journey for the male lead to eventually get the girl but even when it happened the show kept dragging on and on and on and I simply lost patience. The very slow pace of the show didn’t help either. I am not a big fan of these slow shows to start with.
And the. The characters are all cold fishes. Especially the two leads. They look good but my god they are not sexy to watch… they hesitate too much and definitely don’t listen to their heart. They rationalise love and it takes aaaaaaaaaaaages. I dropped it simply because I lost patience and therefore interest

Don't waste time
The story is too messy. The leads are biggest red flag. Female leads keep cheating on her partners with multiple male. Even her acting is a bit off. Terrible show terrible acting terrible characters . Even the second leads are annoying. But the leads are more immoral. Everyone is cheating on everyone. This series is trying to normalise cheating which is very wrong to me. Episode 1 was good. But then it went downhill. I stopped after episode 8 but then again watched episode 12. This episode was so unnecessary and messyWas this review helpful to you?

Want-to-be-romance that got lost
What a mess of a story. If this was the planned ending, then there was no need for 16 episodes - could have been cut by half. The poor actors all did their best, but the energy level of the story was low, dull, and prooooolllllloooonnngged. It dragged on and on. Then having watched 14 episodes you finally hope the ending will forgive the wasted 14 hours, but no!
There is the most awkward, strange and ludicrous kissing scene in 15.
Who goes for a smoke right after only a kiss? A kiss that we didn't know was supposed to intensify or just cut short - but the ML goes for a smoke right after that. Gosh.
Does the FL go back home that night?
Aaargh! So incomplete.
Is this supposed to be for a prudish regional audience? And it's okay for a married mother of two grown kids to have an affair but not okay for a 30 something single woman to spend a night out?
And my favorite ML - Yoo Yoon Seok- agreed to work in this drama and bring his rating down?
Why why why did you do that? I absolutely fell in love with you in Mood of the Day - and to watch you in this pathetic role was heartbreaking.
Would you like me to be your agent and pick better acting gigs???

Don't waste your time
The drama had an interesting plot, but it has too much unnecessary scenes and things. It could easily be 12 episodes, maybe in that way the drama would flow better. The main leads were adults and could just sit and talk about everything and resolve it. But no.
The female lead created so much drama for nothing, invented a completely meaningless and unrealistic story about sleeping with another man story just to push the two men away.
Anyway, the ending was really disappointing, I feel like I wasted my time with them.

Absolute crap, in terms of story development. How they could even think this story was ok, she is the worst female lead character I have ever watched, and I watched countless K-dramas. Uselessly dramatic, self centered and egoistic, doesn't answer questions, instead asks a question back, lies blatantly to everyone, even to herself and complicates everything without reason. Traumatizing everyone around her with illogical and extreme behavior. I guess it can be still true and these people do really exist but they do not deserve a whole drama on them and also still no point in how she found her happiness it's really unclear. Disappointing

Possibly the worst kdrama of 2023. CHEATING IS CHEATING and its WRONG.
Possibly the worst kdrama of 2023.I had finished this drama the day they ended it. But since many people are writing reviews on how they hated it. I also want to do it lmao.
Anyway, the gist of the coming long essay is-
Please Do not watch the drama even if you have a lot of time to waste cause it's not worth it. You can at least rewatch your favorite drama again instead of watching this what-feels-like-an-eternity 16-episode trash drama.
I don't understand why few of them have given 5 stars but this drama is so fucked up.
"This drama is not your regular romance cliche drama where characters do random things in the name of love" This Is so fucking funny lol.
The characters legit cheat on each other?!!! Physical cheating is CHEATING. Emotional Longing is also CHEATING. CHEATING is an unforgivable act.
If you don't like the person anymore, end things with them. Why do all kinds of cheap low shit hurt people around you?!!
Moon Ga Young's character has got to be one of the worst ones in the drama land. I know she has trauma and all that blah blah blah
BUT GIRL if you don't communicate how the fuck will the opposite person understand what you're thinking lmao. I cannot with Yoo Yeon Seok's character. Pathetic asf Lover Boy. Single-handedly ruined everything.
The drama is so slow. I legit had to watch them at 2x speed lmao.
The cinematography is good. The sets are nice. But the script is so bland and dull.
It will seem like the characters have a lot of depth. But they are hollow as hell.
Ahn Su Yeong(MGY), her father cheated on her mother. So she ends up hating him like forever. And she loathed him for cheating on her mother. But she ends up doing the same thing with her police guy boyfriend- How fucked up is that??!! How can you do something that you hate so much????!!
This is one fucked up drama. MGY's acting wasn't that promising. And I hated YYS's whiny ass. Hated almost every single character in the drama.
I only gave this a try cause I love YYS and MGY. I thought it will be a good melodrama. this led me down and was an utter disappointment

You don't want to recommend this drama to anybody
Some people say this is a realistic drama. I beg to disagree. I hope nobody's life is that messed up. The writers tried their best to show us some reality in work life, I must say many of these work-life experiences is real. But, about the personal life, the writers made it a total mess. It was a ride full of angst and negativity that the viewers had to witness for the last 8 weeks. You don't want others to experience the same angst and negativity unless you have some enmity toward that person.Story: The drama does have a story. It is a story of hesitation, misunderstanding, and wrong choices. And also the story of cheating. Full of negativity. I could give this drama 8/10 for the story because the writers showed perfectly what they wanted in this drama. They were successful in their job. But, I don't approve of them spreading that much misunderstanding and negativity in this drama. This is bad, this is not a good practice. Although this is a work of fiction, you don't want to learn anything from this drama. You just want to forget all those bad things that happened in this drama and don't want to affect your real life in any way. So, I gave 5/10 for the story.
Acting/Cast: 9/10 for acting cast. Both ML and FL are good actors. They showed they can act in any role they are given. They perfectly portrayed what was needed for their characters. Yoo Yoon Seok is a very good actor. Just like his character in hospital playlist, he showed very good acting in this drama too. Moon Ga Young exceeded my expectations. She did a tremendous job. I hope to see her in more mature roles in the future. Other supporting characters also did their best. Overall, Acting/Cast was very good.
Music: The music was also good. The background music and OST's were good, I must say. So 9/10 from me.
Rewatch Value: 1/10 from me. Sorry, Nobody wants to experience the same frustrations and negativity again for a second time. It's better to forget the drama. Don't think of rewatching it again. One time is more than enough.
Overall ratings: 6.5/10
I don't recommend this drama to anybody. If you want to make your mood down for some reason or want to get frustrated for some reason you can watch it.

Waste of time
Look this is the most frustrating drama all times. Just watch the first episode, and the last and maybe in between the kiss scene that all to save your time and frustration!Male lead pulled off his emotions quite well, female lead was just a sadist,
WASTE WASTE WASTE OF TIME
Lastly i dont know what kind of a happy ending this was atleast he didn’t marry SFL! The way they tease with those make out scene but they dont really show them happening is frustrating as well. So make cut scenes

This poem sums up the essence of the series.
Ha Sang-Su and Ahn Su-Yeong fall in love at work. He a very gentle, cautious and responsible man and she, a woman insecure by traumas in her youth, who is very afraid of disappointment.
His feelings for Su-Yeong are so strong that Sang-Su opens his heart to her and confesses how he feels. However, due to her personal fears, she is so cautious that she rejects him for fear of disappointment. Nevertheless, her behavior signto him what feelings she also harbors. He remains touchingly persistent, yet stubborn and tries to win her over again and again, which unfortunately only reinforces her insecurities.
Despite the clear feelings they both have, she keeps her distance and keeps rejecting him.
The actors bring an incredible intensity to the screen. I felt for both of them and suffered with both of them.
In the end, both find a ruthless honesty with each other and confess their true feelings and realize which of their behaviors have blocked their love. It remains to be seen how it ends.
The soundtrack sensitively emphasizes the depth of feelings such as longing and despair.
This series is really thought-provoking and makes it impressively clear that love needs courage to be able to live it.

Waste of time, actors and actresses, management and resources.
This drama gat to be the worst K drama I watched.I lot of you all are so biased about k dramas. If this was a Chinese drama most of you all will have scrutinized it so badly but let's call a spade a spade
THIS DRAMA WAS STUPID AND UNNECESSARY.
Only good thing I can say that made this drama ok was the acting.
They tried to start well but ended up crashing.
It was so ducking slow, so many unnecessary stories and dramas.
I watched till the end hoping it would get better only but then again I was still disappointed.

it’s an interesting dynamic
The relationships are carefully woven in this one. I would say there was some frustration when the characters couldn’t communicate very well for so many episodes. in the end, it all tied together and when you realize what has happened, you’ll likely love it.The relationships are carefully woven in this one.
