Hiroshi is a famous older hitman who is feared and respected. However, his body has finally reached its limit after many years of drinking. A request for killing comes to him today as well. This is supposed to be his last job but when Hiroshi attacks the target at the bar he fails to finish him off. It is a rule that those who make mistakes are purged. Hiroshi was no exception and has to flee. Hiroshi fled to his mother's hometown of Okinawa. Sitting on a beach, he holds his cigarettes and ignites them. At his feet is his mother's mortuary tablet and an alcohol bottle. Hiroshi is vaguely looking at the sea when he sees a young man go towards the sea. Suddenly, the young man's knee was cut and blood was flowing so Hiroshi helps him. When he later visits a bar the young man from the beach appears there. The name of the young man is Kiyomitsu. He was the son of his mother's sister, his nephew. A while later Hiroshi sees Kiyomitsu being attacked by a man with a knife, he easily repels the man and saves Kiyomitsu. Kiyomitsu is attracted to Hiroshi's strength and follows him. Hiroshi hears from Kiyomitsu's mother that he should find work, he asks Kiyomitsu if he has anything he wants to do. Kiyomitsu really wants to be a chef, but he says that she can't leave his mother alone. Hiroshi gradually opens his heart to the kind-hearted Kiyomitsu. However, one day Hiroshi collapses. Kiyomitsu persuades Hiroshi to stop drinking. Hiroshi tells Kiyomitsu that he should aim for the chef's dream. The two make a promise to each other but danger awaits them.
