One of the best modern rom-com dramas!

I don't usually watch cdramas . The last cdrama that I liked was Le Coup de Foudre, which was also a rom-com drama, I had loved the chemistry between main leads there. It's the same reason I liked Hidden love so much too. The chemistry was so natural, they really felt like a real couple. I will say though that I found the first few episodes very slow, but the story picks up after San zhi goes to university. I liked the way they showed the main leads relationship through all the stages. They didn't fast forward through anything and it made me root for them even more as the story went on. The OST is so goood too. The vibes reminded me a bit of Our Beloved Summer.

its gonna be a controversial take but I felt like the drama fell off in the middle towards the end the first few episode was interesting and engaging, the way they got together was weird like one day he noticed SZ beauty and then the next day he has to confirm that SZ likes him then they somehow get together? like where is the hesitation that this is his friends mei mei? the romance felt bland and they seem to forget all about side characters like we didn't get to see anything about SZ brother I wouldve liked to seen his girlfriend and how his life has developed but no instead we get the same bland romance scene copy paste and also the skinship was terrible, if it wasnt for the first few episodes of the show i wouldve rate this lower.

Success and proposal

This was the finale, after Jiaxu moved to Nanwu so his new company would be closer to Zhi's family. She was graduating too, so was now past 21, and had earned an award in design in which Jiaxu recognized some familiar pictures, coming to present the award as a surprise to her. A last surprise was preparing a proposal for Ning Wei on the beach, but Zhi's friend stepped away to let Jiaxu propose to Zhi with the approval of her frineds from university, her parents, and her brother. The roses were lovely, fresh pink, and the ring was beautiful.

There is no end snippet puzzle, but on Youku, there is an episode 25.5 with a lot of interesting snippets of jokes, humorous moments, fashion, making-of some scenes, interview, and a sweet message on a folded paper star, that Jiaxu wrote for ZhiZhi, in imitation of her touching ones.

Five Stars

I cried with the proposal scene. It was getting kinda slumped towards the end. Like i felt the graduation scene was rushed. Maybe they didn't have time to take shots at the campus and the celebration. And the awarding scene was very cliche, i mean like it was already used with other past dramas, most recently I could recall is the Romance of a Little Forest. The guy is the award presenter and the girl gets the award. But then during the graduation mini celebration they had at the beach, I was really not expecting he'd propose lol. I was caught off-guard and "poor Ning Wei" she became a tool. I really thought she would get the proposal. Heck, she was that predictable as a love-minded girl. But the whole proposal scene was one of the best I've seen, with her family and brother (the best brother I bet so far in the history of contemporary Cdrama). And the words that Jiaxu said. It was all so touching and warm. I melted in my desk chair and there were tears in my eyes. It was so beautiful.
