Short & Sweet: A Simple Enjoyable Watch

At first I was uncertain, then I was like COME ON, but in the end I too fell in love. The acting was very natural nothing too over the top or cringe. Well produced with thoughtful shots, excellent pacing, and music that complimented the story. There were a few scenes of intense product placement/marketing that was pretty much a commercial, but it fit well with the story.

wtf is happening in tis show srsly

so basically she dates whoever she wants and the guy is supposed to accept her as it is ? tf. see i support everything but not two timing and cheating. the girl has got tis victim face and personality whnever she is placed where she shld be. i liked the her ex tbh hes the guy who u will see in the first episode. tht guy knew his worth but the way she spoke to him aft dumping him like shit was soooooo frustrating. i wanted to rip tht "oh i am the victim pls be soft on me" face so bad tbh. like wth girl if u apologise do u think the broken heart of the man is fixed?
also wat is wrong wit the leads?
i tot theyll be like "tis is wrong and i dont deserve tis" type instead they were actually stupid to tag along to her shit.
no hate towards the actors just tht the characters were shitty
i felt like crying whn she was acting stuck up wit her ex in the bar scene like the man cried so much and also during the break up wit the younger lover now ex
so she dating 2 ppl even in the last episode? tf
anyways her life idc but i wouldnt recommend tis drama ever to anyone who is going into a relationship tbh.
watch at ur own risk cuz tis drama can make ur toes curl in frustration
but i like the storyline as they "tried" to attempt making tis diff frm other web series still not so great too
hope yall find my review useful and tis is purely my opinion and i hope it doesnt offend anyone.
no offense once again.

Come on. Really?

Where do I begin?

This feeds into every stereotype you hear about polyamorous people: They're greedy, selfish, wishy-washy, manipulative, and just "bad" people. The FL, Ji Soo, is the perfect embodiment of these stereotypes. Ji Soo knows she leads people on, lies to them, and cares more about herself than others. She readily admits it to her best friend, Hyeon Woo, out loud multiple times. I think it's worse to be fully aware of your bad behavior and do nothing about it than to be completely ignorant of how your actions affect others.

The story itself also pushes back against validating polyamory at nearly every turn. That will become clear later in this review.

Little polyamory lesson coming from someone who practices monogamy but knows a decent amount about it: Polyamory is when you engage in multiple romantic and/or sexual relationships with the consent of all partners involved.

This woman labels her loving multiple people as wrong, which it's not. She doesn't need to feel guilty about not being able to choose between two guys or date "normally." What she DOES need to feel guilty about is sneaking around behind their backs. It is not correct polyamory if you are not informing them. They think you are exclusive and you are lying by omission.

When Tae Oh and Ji Ho finally know what's going on and are able to give informed consent, we get a brief glimpse of what could have been. When she is with one partner unexpectedly she informs the other out of consideration, she attempts to give both men time out of her day, and she equally expresses love and physical affection.

But then, it's ruined again. She kisses Hyeon Woo—without his consent, I might add—without asking her partners beforehand, talking to them about what she's going through, or taking their feelings into consideration. And the cherry on top of this is that she never tells Tae Oh or Ji Ho what she did.

The end sees her breaking up with both of them because she feels they shouldn't continue when they each want to exclusively be with her, and she ends up dating Hyeon Woo while seeing other guys casually.

This left me frustrated for so many reasons. For one, there isn't much, if anything, to indicate she loves Hyeon Woo. When she goes to bang on Hyeon Woo's door and ends up kissing him, she's only thinking about how much she misses her best friend and wants him back in her life so they can do the activities they enjoy together. She's not thinking about how she feels differently about him now; she just kisses him out of the blue and says she was doing it to see if she liked him. Then he tells her that he wants to date her and that if she wants that she will need to break up with her boyfriends. He says he's not okay with her seeing other people while she's with him. He is very clear about this. This leads to my second reason, how in the hell do they expect me to believe he magically came around?! How? He is very firm about it just being them and then comes around out of nowhere. Out of nowhere! My third reason: what the people who made the show wanted to say. I think them going for her dating Hyeon Woo while casually seeing other guys was to give less endorsement of polyamory. They couldn't show her seriously dating two men and equally loving them. They went for the option that is closer to a "normal" relationship. Also, so they could continue to call her a "bad girl" for what she's doing. Basically saying, "She's messing around. Isn't that so bad of her?" And my fourth reason, Tae Oh and Ji Ho were starting to like each other (not romantically) and seemed pretty content staying dating Ji Soo together. It would have made sense for them to tell Ji Soo they want to stay as they are, not just go along with the breakup.

Okay, for my own peace of mind, I'm going to rewrite the end of this drama. Fanfiction/directing incoming:

Ji Soo goes to the restaurant to drink soju, feeling upset about the absence of her best friend (she doesn't kiss him). Her ex still shows up and says everything he did before, she is moved by her boyfriends' verbal defense of their relationship, and the fight still happens. But on the walk back to her place she takes both their hands and tells them, "I know we haven't finished the project yet and we said that's when I'd make my decision. But . . . I love you both. Equally. I can't choose between you, Tae Oh and Ji Ho. Please understand. I want to keep dating you. Can we stay together? Just like this?" Tae Oh and Ji Ho look at each other and then at Ji Soo. They give slight smiles, and she pulls them in for a hug. The guys look awkwardly at each other but then also embrace. The next day the video still gets released, and things look grim for all of them. She feels guilty, but Tae Oh and Ji Ho both comfort her individually, reminding her that they decided to fight. Getting courage from them, she stands up to the boss and puts her job on the line so they can stay on the project. While Ji Soo is shown giving a presentation, Ji Ho smiles to himself, noticing how lovingly Tae Oh looks at her. The project is completed successfully, and Ji Soo still hands in her resignation.

Flash forward to three months later, and we see Tae Oh dropping her off at her new job. He gives her a kiss on the cheek as she opens the car door. She sits at her desk and begins to work. The camera focuses in on her right, where there is a framed picture of her, Tae Oh, and Ji Ho at the park laughing together. Later she has lunch with Ji Ho at the cafe where they met. While waiting for their dessert, he holds her hand across the table. Finally, they are shown having dinner all together at her place. Tae Oh and Ji Ho bicker over the dishes they made, and Ji Soo laughs at them. Cut to credits. The end.

I feel better now.

very unusual

Most people won't like it, as the story is very unconventional.
Throughout the entire series, I could not understand why everyone did what they did. I understand at the emotional level, however, when it comes to stuff like reason or pride, it's highly unlikely.
Still, at the end, the ones who thought they could deal with this couldn't, and the ones who thought they couldn't, managed it anyways.
The ending was perfect. The 10 I'm giving to this show is merely because those 30 seconds. If those 30 seconds weren't there, the 6,5 rating would be more than enough, and I wouldn't have bothered to write a review. But they're there. Therefore 10 it is.
You do you, and keep around the people who accept and love you as you are.

What the hell did I just watch?!

I'm utterly perplexed by this drama - the plot is needlessly convoluted! The talented cast deserves better material. Honestly, I'd love to see them shine in a different drama, but this one misses the mark. To those who find this drama acceptable, I suggest seeking a reality check or professional help. Two-timing is never justifiable, no matter the circumstances. I'm only giving this drama a 4/10 due to the actors' efforts, but I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Not a good drama..

The fl is a bit strange and somewhat annoying. This is a drama I don’t recommend watching if you don’t want to deal with the disappointments. The acting could’ve been better in some way as well. It makes me feel really bad for the other guys she dated and I don’t understand how the best friend guy didn’t do what you would expect the most.

It could have been better

"Cute" drama - I don't know how else to categorize this, it's one of those cutesy dramas, with a lot of puppy eyes, overexposed visuals, shallow depth of field, dreamy look, and even the sound tracks are light and airy. Which fine, it's a thing, but I find this to be a bit hard to watch because of the pacing. It made me feel like I'm watching something made by a newbie, the pacing was not well managed, too much room to breathe which became awkward moments. Then the product placements... makes me feel like I'm watching. a very long ad.

Story wise, it could have been better, and I wish that they have shown this as a positive thing. Open relationship and polyamory exist in this world, and who are we to judge people's way of living? If it works for them and everyone involved, then go for it. I know enough people in open relationships, it requires honesty and open communication. I didn't like that she wasn't honest at the start, and she was cheating then. I really don't tolerate this behaviour, however, I also understand that the relationship that she wants is not conventional, and in some countries it's a lot harder to have this kind of relationship in the open, but that's not an excuse for her to not be honest. I don't particularly like that she's given the label of "bad girl" either, just because she wanted an open relationship and that she's sticking to who she truly is, I find it to be demeaning. I admire that the creators are sticking to their guns for keeping to it to the end (she didn't change who she is to fit into the society). However, I find it annoying that the bestie ended up with her anyway after saying that he didn't want to be loved at the same time as others (and I get it, open relationship is not for everyone). Is it so bad to have her not date him? It's not the end of the world if the FL doesn't end up her bestie that has been in her life for a long time, just saying.

In saying that, I do think she's a "bad" girl in the sense of being quite selfish from how she wasn't being honest at the start and in her past relationships, and how she's treating her bestie. Overall, I feel that a lot of the characters in the story are bland, like they have no personality. I also find it very hard to believe that the two guys accepted the situation that easily, as they're pretty much a one-woman type of men, and they entered the relationship expecting it to be exclusive.

So yeah, it could have been better.

While the initial setup sounds promising, the drama might fall short for viewers seeking a satisfying narrative. The central conflict – Ji Soo’s juggling act with two boyfriends – treads familiar territory and could feel cliche. Additionally, the introduction of Ji Ho into Ji Soo’s company adds unnecessary complications to the plot.
