One day, pornographic novel "Seven Minutes" was released and became popular in some small town. It's author is unknown, but soon the book's publisher is sued for spreading obscene content. Murakami, a lawyer, is hired to defend the publisher in court. At the same time, Mutsuko Soma, a history teacher at a local high school and a single mother, faces a big dilemma. The woman knows the story behind the vulgar publication, but is she ready to expose the truth, and allow people to turn their eyes on her, especially in such a small-town and prudish community?
