Ishimatsu Donki, is a substitute teacher at primary school for his pregnant friend. He was in the past, an assistant professor in charge of Japanese literature at Jonan University, but he was resented by his professor's theft of his treatise and violently attacked by him after, causing him to resign. However, school isn't a university and Donki tries, using academic methods, to control students, their parents and teachers who are evasively failing their duties.
