Simply amazing.

I am going to keep this review short, by simply saying. This drama is worth losing sleep to watch! if watching on IQIYI you must watch it in premium membership ? because the scenes in the drama are too beautiful to watch in nothing less than 4K.
From start to finish Burning Flames was a undeniable hit!!
There isn't one dull moment, the only urge you will get to skip to the next episode is due to the impatients of wanting to see want is next.
And you then wouldn't dare skip because you don't want to miss a thing lol it's that good.
I gave the drama a 9.5 took the 5 off because I feel making Bai Cai ( female lead) dieing at her wedding was unnecessary. She and Male Lead already went through the valley of death lol literally and came out strong ?? so in my opinion the writer and directors should have just given us the bloody happy ending.
Then to have the ML went on searching worldwide ? spree to find her because he believed she was not dead was stupid as we literally saw her died before our eyes.

If they wanted to do a reincarnated episode or a spirit soul transfer I would buy it, because there was alot of that in the movie.
instead they had ML walking ?‍♂️ through every season; Winter, Summer, Spring, Autum. Just for him to end up smiling at the door. Yep that's how they ended it! Kept us in suspense and didn't show us who the ML was smiling at!

Other than the clue of the snow man ❄️ that we know reflected Bai Cai (FL) as there was a scene of her making a snown man and we know she loved to make them. However There was no other proof it was her.
After binge watching 40 episode and investing 72hours of my life source.
I want to be happy dammit!!!! lol ?
I want marriage and babies running around in a world where the ML and FL work tiresomely to create.
I don't want clues to guess Sh### cause we all know there won't be another 40 something episode. ? lol ? ?
I want to fight the Directors and the Writers. ?

Another drama that it was ruined by romance...

Honestly I really liked it at first but after one point it became annoying...

We all have our most & our least favourite characters in a drama here's ny list for this drama:
MFC: Ni Tian Er Xing & Zi Yu
LFC: Bai Cai & Xin Yue Kui

Ni Tian Er Xing & Zi Yu they both were amazing characters and the actors did an excellent job playing them!!
For me these two were the only characters that they deserved to get everything that they wanted but it didn't happen. I was happy for Zi Yu at the end that he lived and watched Wu Geng defeating Hei Long and gaining the freedom for all three realms but in the process he lost the rest of his family and ppl he loved and became a lonely soul. He definitely deserved more happiness.
As for Ni Tiang Er Xing he was an amazing character! A great and caring leader and also a great and loyal friend that deserved to get everything and be happy but instead the twisted writers had him die.

Xin Yue Kui was such a twisted character!
For her greed for power and apparently because of her crush on Hei Long was willing to kill everyone even her own family!
I found the fact that she was killed by Hei Long very entertaining but I definitely wanted her to suffer alot more than she did!

I also liked Hei Long's character because he was really powerful. If he had a good heart he could have been a great leader for the Immortals.

Wu Geng was a good character, but I was disappointed. Although he was strong enough to kill Hei Long at the end all that power wasn't really his, it was borrowed or given to him and without Er Xing's help, giving him his own remaining power after he had died, he would have been dead too. The thing about him was that he had a very strong will power, that's why he managed to cultivate the Qi energy that Zi Yu gave him so fast and became stronger and also managed to activate the colourless realm devine power.
He was also a very good leader and he even managed to bring together the three realms and bring peace amongst them. He is definitely could've been a great leader for the three realms but in the end he gave it all up for nothing, just because he wanted to go find that idiotic and good for nothing Bai Cai.
I still don't understand why she got to live again and not all those other great characters that died. She was so fricking annoying and weak from the beginning till the end. Such an unnecessary and good for nothing character. The only thing ahe did throughout the entire drama was to say "A Gou" like an idiot, and annoy us.
I liked her more when she was evil.
Without her character this drama could've been a 9 or 9,5 easily.
Also she didn't have any chemistry with Wu Geng.
In my opinion, this drama didn't need the romance. It would've worked better as a Friendship and Bromance drama.
If the writers wanted Romance they could have had Wu Geng end up with A Lan or Bei Er, since the ML had way more chemistry with them. But no, yet again, those twisted writers hed them both killed like Er Xing.
Those great ppl that deserved to live and be happy remaind dead and that annoying Bai Cai was brought back from the dead. I'll never forgive the writers for that.
The only good thing that they did (for me) was that they made Shi Xing and Xuan Feng Sage King, good characters. I really like these two actors so it was kinda impossible and difficult for me to see them as evil characters and hate them. I was grateful when they both turned good and didn't remain in the evil side.

The journey of Wu Geng

The story of this drama is very gripping and racy from the beginning to the end.It showcases how Wu Geng who has been forced to become a slave from a prince and finally avenges the death of his parents.
The development of story was good.I liked how Wu Geng really worked hard,overcame all the difficulties,made friends,stood by justice,eradicated evil and achieved his goal in the end.
Allen Ren Jialun has played his role well as Wu Geng/A Gou.
Xing Fei was good as Bai Cai
I liked the characterisation of A Lan and Bambi Zhu was perfect in her role.
All the supporting cast were good.
The pace of the drama is very good.
This drama is really inspiring and engaging from the start to the end.
This drama is worth watching!!

Story line is so solid chemistry is also good and later there chemistry will become more solid when she noe his true identity ...
Not only the main characters but other characters also give there best so much suspense thriller ? I didn't expect that this Gona be my fav bcs I like this kind of genre action + romance + suspense ?
Bai cai character development is so good her villain era is ? I looking forward to it
And how Wu geng journey is going like at first he's arrogant and angry type guy but later how he changes into a sensible leader it truly amazing
I very looking forward to the fight between hei long and Wu geng .?
Btw overall is a very great drama you should give it a try ❤
Male lead and female lead have a strong bond they Stick together in every hard times and good time

Very cool story and cool chars and original Ren Jialun's and Xin Fei's voice acting skills

The things I personally loved about this drama are that the story to me looked really amazing abd interesting to a point that I can really recommend this drama to everyone who love a fighting fantasy stories abd cute MMO vibe style because it had all of it and the most notable and something rare but also really wonderful was it that Ren Jialun and Xin Fei sounded original and no one voice acted them and that elevates this drama to much higher than most if XianXia dramas because the most important actors were completely natural and most other XianXia dramas other than that one have voice acted main actors and are not 100% real and you can't give full credit to actor because he or she was only a good visual performer but the voice was not their but in Burning Flame both Ren Jialun and Xin Fei had their own original voices except in cases where Luo Yun Xi abd Yang Zi give their original voices in Ashes of Love and Yang Zi gave original voice in Immortal Samsarabut Cheng Yi in all his character had a fake voice

Highly Recommend

This drama had contained everything anyone can think of. The main leads made it even better. Accept the animation which you just have to keep up with, the drama from ep 1-40 is such a wholesome drama with action and adventures, it has a slow burn romance because that's not the point of this drama. This drama is filled with tons of turns and twists. Watching a drama again with Jialun Ren and Xing fei makes it more tempting to watch like Ms. Crow with Mr. Lizard. I'm not someone who watches historical dramas but this, this is really worthy of watching. Over all it's a ten without a doubt. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Led by a talented cast but the visuals are bad. The story is kind of okay.

Ep 1 to Ep 10: I saw so many familiar faces in episode 1 alone. The drama has such a good cast, which includes supporting and guest actors. I have to say Ren Jia Lun has such a heart warming smile. The way he smiled as A Gou when the FL was petting him like a puppy. It had the Labrador energy. I have seen Xing Fei in many dramas but can't say that she has impressed me as an actor. For me her most memorable role was Forget You Remember Love, that's saying a lot because her character was messed up, that entire drama was messed up. So back to this one, I am invested in the story because of Ren Jia Lun, loved him in One and Only. So far, he is following the script, the characters seems okay to me, especially since he is not yet an adult. They are growing up. I loved Peter Ho's character King Xin, he did a great job but was failed by the subpar visuals. The visuals are the worst part about this drama, it seems like the drama was put together a long time ago and only released recently.
