A emotional ride to the reality

An EP 9 that gives me an EP 11 feeling. I’ll continue to start off with Jeng and Pok. Jeng continues to text the girl he gave his Instagram by saying she needs study advice. However, he didn’t realize the problem of him texting her and thinking about how Pok would feel. Jeng kept defending himself but in reality, he was the one who was wrong.
“Your boyfriend has an admirer, and she keeps texting him. Should I feel good about that?” -Pok
Pok can’t see the future of him and Jeng together anymore if the relationship continues to be hidden. On the other hand, with the help of Joke, Jeng finally noticed his mistake. He kept going around pretending he was single because he was on a soccer team. Pok still decides to trust him no matter what and be a good boyfriend. Jeng definitely needs to listen and understand in order to create a healthy relationship. Pok had to be so secret in order to be with Jeng, this hurts him. Everyone is flirting with Jeng, but he can’t do anything because the relationship isn’t public. “What am I to you, really?” -Pok
To resolve the situation, Jeng opened their relationship to the public. Even though it might not be the best at the moment, Jeng is trying to resolve his relationship and be true about it.

The JokeZo situation isn’t good either. Even though they look cute together and have fluffy moments, the lack of talk and lies affected their relationship a lot. Joke never talked about his situation, his relationship with Pat (Louis) and how he tried to get closer to Zo from Pat. The so-called “Hidden Agenda” was revealed.“Lying is normal. Sometimes the truth does more harm than good, especially in relationships. A white lie can even save a relationship if it spares someone's pain from learning the truth. But for me, using a white lie, as an excuse to keep someone happy, or to hide something that you do behind someone’s back?” -ZoI understand why Zo was so mad this time though, he lost all his trust, a relationship that was started from a lie. Joke just kept lying and not expressing why he did that or why he felt like that. Finally, Joke expresses his own feelings and talks about the past, and Zo decides to forgive.
“At first, I was confused, not sure if he’d like me. And he was into Nita back then. So I figured, knowing him was enough. But as I got to know him, I couldn’t help myself. My heart just wasn’t mine anymore, so I wanted to pursue him for real. There’s nothing untrue about us. My feelings are real. They’ve always been real. Everything I’ve done, it’s because I want to be next to him. I love him.” -Joke
Joke, I was waiting you 9 episodes for you to finally say these. You never told anyone about how you feel, not even to Zo. The emotions from Joong were well done. Don’t lie to baby Zo anymore, Joke.

This episode was such a roller coaster ride. I got so emotionally attached to Jeng and Pok. AouBoom are really good actors. The scene where Pok was sharing all his pain during the relationship was so brilliant. I can even feel the difficult moments that Pok was going through. I need GMM to give them a solo series in 2024, please. However, I didn’t enjoy JokeZo that much in this episode, maybe the lack of communication threw me off, but I’m glad that Joke finally talks about his true feelings.

How you should apologize

This episode did a fantastic job in portraying how a relationship is hard work and just because you say "sorry" doesn't mean you understood what you did wrong and that you won't repeat the same mistake.Zo again is a great protagonist who stays true to his character. He speaks his mind and doesn't beat around the bush. He's not swayed by lazy apologizes or grand gestures but wants his friend and boyfriend to realize what they've done wrong. This is also the first time that the great communication skills of Zo and Joke didn't really work because Joke did not come clean when Zo presented him with multiple situations. What Joke did instead was repeat his mistake and only offering empty words until just way later into the episode he finally realized what he had done wrong and what Zo was waiting for. It was a great way to show us a more complex version of Joke because to one is perfect not even Joke and I love that. Finally, Pok opened up about his feelings and made Jeng realize how much he hurt his boyfriend with his behaviour. Their conversation was also so so good because it started – similarly to Joke and Zo - with Jeng not understanding what he did wrong and ended with him acknowledging his wrong-doings. Apologizing for them and immediatly changing his behaviour.I have to note that no one should ever come out when they're not ready. You never own someone your coming-out. It is your decision when and if you want to come out. However, same applies for the partner if they cannot be in this type of relationship then they should be able to end the relationship because of it. I thought the director and screenwriter handled this topic very well.
