It centers on the relationship between foodie and expert chef Tsukuyomi, and a 27-year-old female personal gym trainer named Soyogi. They meet up regularly so Soyogi can re-energize herself on Tsukuyomi's food, but they have established an agreement that forbids any romance between them. Reviews
Good Enough
Japanese Drama '' Tsukuyomi-kun no kindan Oyashoku '' is a food drama with a romantic twist. The drama, though it has a weird setting, it has a light mood and an enjoyable story. The food was nice enough, the relationship between the two leads cute, the love triangle okay, though the brother was a bit creepy at times, and the office drama enjoyable.
The drama's main 'failure', however, was its length. It didn't allow the story to develop organically, and it was rushed at times and, especially in the end. If they had omitted some parts of it, it would have allowed the main story to breathe. Alas, that was not the case.
The performances, finally, were all enjoyable, especially by the main female lead.
So, overall, five out of ten.
