Cringy but kinda interesting…
I can understand why the rating for this BL is low. It was cringy in majority of its scenes, but I kinda liked it at times… Even though it did have some weird moments, overall I thought the drama was cute. The dude who played Dino was also in Love in the Air, so I was surprised to see him playing as the main role. His character was a red flag in half the show so it made the series kind of repetitive or annoying. But I’m a sucker for cringy series sometimes so I think that is why I enjoyed it.It definitely wasn’t my favorite but I enjoyed it at times. The acting was not all that good but I liked the cast so hopefully we can see them in a better drama in the future.

Not good!
1/10, dropped.-Neg:
1. I didn't like the two of them as a couple.
2. The story was rather weak.
3. Rak never wanted to be kissed by dino. That got annoying in the long run. If he has had a bad experience with his ex then 1-2 times to refuse the kiss is ok but not all the time.
4. The other Characters were not interesting.
+Pos:
1. Acting was fine.

Smh
They did Pepper and Kong so dirty with this show. The script, directing, editing, all trash. Like what even was this show? & if I I had to hear that crow sound one more time... ? I felt like a prehistoric dinosaur by the time this show finally finished.Anyway, Pepper the whole time: ?
? the only good thing about this show is the two mains. They have great chemistry, and their spicy scenes were the best part of the show. However, these scenes were still ruined by the same horrible and loud music played over and over again each time. The bad filming and editing also didn't help. They doomed these two actors from the start.
I hope they can star in a much better BL in the future.

Watch your own risk!!!!
Dinosaur Love" is a BoysLove series that, in my opinion, didn't quite live up to its potential. Overall, I found it to be a less than appetizing watch, and I was left wanting more in terms of engaging storytelling and strong performances. The slow-paced plot and lackluster acting by the actors made it quite a boring watch. I was hoping for a more engaging storyline and more appetizing performances, but unfortunately, the series didn't live up to my expectations. While the concept of a BoysLove series featuring dinosaurs is unique, the execution fell flat for me.Was this review helpful to you?

Cute and sweet but likes development
The series is overall cute and a sweet cast, but does lack character and development. The storyline has a lot of potential. The character of Rak is horrible. He is stupidly naive never shows no true emotion and all he can say is I'm not mad. This is a Smart character but knows nothing about true life. Rak is very observant and sees people for who they are but he him self plays dumb and has no true emotion, he is extremely passive and nothing about him feels real. I love the Dino character. I hate how much the times they try to be funny comes off dumb. The serious had so much potential but in the end it is horrible. I found my self skipping so much out of boredom and lack of good story. The only good thing was Dino, his friends and Chalam character. The storyline was a good idea if you did not have so much bad dry jokes and a dumb passive lead character like Rak. One last thing that was annoying was how the episodes play the storyline line did not flow and there were major times that there were gaps in the story and nothing explained the moment. Very horrible episode play through story is missing a lot of storyline. The actor and character of Rak is a horrible character to play and actor needs better acting. Was this review helpful to you?
Bland and stiff. Very red-flag-y and uncomfortable to watch
To be honest I think I have quite a low standard/high tolerance for the problematic/dramatic BL tropes especially since many of them end up being my guilty pleasure. So for this show to get so uncomfortable to watch, it's an accumulation of multiple factors.TLDR: Nothing. This entire show make me feel nothing but some tired moments and some very uncomfortable moments. Acting is stiff, the plot is unclear, using toxic and problematic events to add drama without and clear story flow. Chemistry? Who, where?
- The acting is very static and emotionless. Even if you look at Rak as a naive, innocent, and a-bit slow type of character, it's quite hard to deny that his acting is so bland and flavorless. I really feel like the actors in this show didn't have enough time to study their characters, do workshops, and train their acting because the execution is so terrible and boring. Of course, their talents might be varied to some degree, but considering Rak's actor (who's the main protagonist of this show) is quite weak in his acting, it's hard to salvage from that. Consequently, a sad moment doesn't feel sad, a dramatic moment didn't feel dramatic. Even when they try to attack or push someone away you can't even feel the tension. Everything was weak and slow. And I guess camera work could partly be the culprit but all and all you can just feel that they were reading from a memorized script and not acting. Sadly bland.
- Plot just kind of ambushes you left and right with red flags. Especially ep3. I couldn't even bring myself to finish ep3, it seems like problematic story tropes (including mental illness and assault-y stuff) just got tossed into the plot out of nowhere to add drama. As said above I'm someone who usually doesn't take BL as 'actual IRL stuff' and can easily indulge in the fantasy of it all if it at least has some build-up or a comprehensible plot to it. But hahaha going through the first 2 halves of Dinosaur Love only got me UHHHHH and then more UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Whatever's going on with Mek and Kram like... excuse me??? It was so uncomfortable and unbearable.
- It's not even funny. I think the side characters were written up only for gag purposing but they're not even funny. Both script and execution of it were unimpressive. The portrayal of the 'feminine' gay character as a laughing stock and zero depth is so overused now, but if they can even pull off a 'classic' character trope idk what they're capable of doing. If you want a good execution of this character archetype who's comical, and fun-loving but also has his own story, plot, moments, and depth, I would recommend watching Step by Step (character Chot).
- Finally, chemistry. You thought I would've put this higher on the list because it's such an important thing but I'm writing it down here because honestly... I just kinda forgot about it while watching. If there was any moment of chemistry between the two leads it was either very brief or barely there.
So yes, this is me, giving up on this series. I was only checking out UltimateTroop/Dinosaur Love because I ran out of things to watch. But tbh after ep3 I don't think I'll ever revisit this channel in the foreseeable future.

Not a complete train wreck - but close
I decided to watch this mainly because of Pepper, but there was such a great cast list I thought this is going to be good. All of the blame for the lack favourable reception lies at the feet of the screenwriter, director and editor there was so much potential within their grasp. If the production had streamlined things ( paid attention to the gigantic wholes in the plot and too many random characters) it might have stood a better chance since the main leads had a little bit of chemistry. That being said what the hell was production thinking when it came to the NC scenes? There weren’t a huge amount of them but the Pepper’s kissing style was let’s say interesting, but you can bet I still watched it.
Things they got right
- how protective and attentive Dino was to Rak’s apprehensiveness regarding sex due to his previous bf very green flag behaviour
- how supportive Dino’s friends and mother were.
- how funny Chalarm was, his deadpan delivery and constant hunger for omelette gave off a very drool comedic effect.
- how Mhee just appears out of nowhere looking like he dropped out of a photoshoot
Where it could have been improved
-the cheesy lines and slightly vulgar lines Dino had.
- a real reason for the random stalker
-more of a real resolution with Rak’s ex an ex best friend where they truly understand how dangerous their behaviour was.
It’s too bad the future part of this series were cancelled, maybe production could gotten their act together

Not hve a good story line or acting, dont waste your time
First of all The lead actor rak needs to either go to a good acting class or stop acting. He sucks.. dino is actually good actor but rak's acting take him down so i can not give more stars for acting becoz of that.. and what the hell is that story line. Is writer rak's father or someone?? Is he write this much idiotic drama and take rak as main lead ? eeeyuu.. and what the meaning and reason for charlam's character.. badess story ever... i think writer also dont know about what he writing and what the story line are... nd rak dont have facial expression or anything tht i can feel ok.. he is the first actor tht fail this much from my actor list...About dino i want watch him from another drama with good support actor and writer and i must say suea and kharam also good actors ❤️❤️

It was okay
This one wasn't that bad but it also wasn't anything major outstanding, I did a second rewatch and was able to dissect and analyze the show this time, and well, here we go.Mek & Kram: These two sucks, there's nothing nice to say about them, anytime they were on the screen they annoyed me to no end. Mek is horrible, he forgets Rak and his 3rd anniversary brings his friend over to Raks with Kram's favorite food, and has the nerve to tell Rak he can't remember what he likes. then when Rak goes to "sleep" Mek and Kram are talking as loud as possible and Mek still has the nerve to tell Kram to be quiet because he doesn't want Rak to hear, like it's too late for that. Then when Rak let go of his suspicions about Kram because he didn't want to fight, Kram sent a picture to Mek and Mek couldn't believe Rak when he said nothing was happening. Not to mention both Kram and Mek are major gaslighters, I was getting secondhand gaslighted listening to them. Both were crazy, Mek violated Rak and still gaslighted him while doing it and Kram was just nuts and needed more help, the fact he could put his best friend through what he did out in front of the apartment was crazy.
Rak & Dino: I don't know if I've seen chemistry with these two but I will say anytime Dino made out with Rak I was like please stop, his whole tongue had bills to pay. I love spicy and kissing but gosh darn we didn't need the tongue every 5 seconds of kissing, I wonder what Kong thought while filming this, anyway, I do think Dino was too pushy like you knew what Rak went through, give him space and help him heal from all of that. Poor Rak attracted all the crazies, from Mek and Kram to Tart, even Dino was a little crazy.
Chalam, Suea & Mhee - These 3 were my favorite and the most normal out of all of them. Chalam was just too funny and I adored all of his screen time. I need more of Mos, and I love Mhee and Suea because they were there for Rak like real friends should be and took care of him. Though I would've liked to see the love interest that they had talked about in the last episode, it would've been cute to see them all there at the beach with there lovers.

Why?
The plot, the realisation and, above all, the actors' performances were alright to appealing overall. What I don't like in a BL series, however, are kissing and bed scenes that are blurred beyond recognition!
I wonder which censorship idiot has implemented his cranky way of thinking!

I wasted my time watching this.
No, just no!The Mc had a dead fish expression most of the series, All the characters looked pale like the makeup artist had a vendetta against them, The entire plot was whack and the actor acting was terrible. I skipped through most of it and I kept scolding myself for not checking the reviews b4 downloading. I cried after finishing it bcuz I got through it without killing myself.
I sincerely think the characters need to improve on their acting bcuz they were like unfunny clowns.
