Can't help but be disappointed
I'm a Maid's Revenge baby so I was over the moon when this happened, I jumped on right away which was a mistake since the episodes are really short and some of them are really boring.The plot is nothing new nor original, but I think nobody will mind the predictably and the clichés. I expected the explosive chemistry between the leads, however the acting, in my opinion, was nowhere close to their previous work and the ultimate proof are the kiss scenes: if you thought they were good (I know you did, I've read the comments) wait till you see the ones in TBR, when I tell you they got me feeling shy, like I was intruding.
It wasn't definitely bad, especially considering it's a web drama, however couldn't help but feel a little disappointed because I expected more from the cast.
Absolutely valid if you want something light and short to binge watch.

Best Mini Series
Been watching mini cdrama series coz it short and faster to finish compared to kdramas. This is the only mini series by far that really got me. I did not skipped any scenes, I was into the story. With the main characters, all four of them executed their roles magnificently. To tell you the truth, cdrama has sometimes loopholes on its story, sometimes it jumped into next scene that doesn't connect from the previous, or sometimes it's just off the story. But this cdrama is different!!! Woah! The four main characters hooked me into their emotions, the on screen feelings is there. It's mini series, so the development of the story should be fast but here, it doesn't seems like they are in hurry to finish each episodes. That's is why I can say this is an under rated drama series coz this should have been get more attentions, reviews, more outstanding awards ect. It you ask me any reco for mini series, this is my top 1 reco, acting and story wise. It should never be missed. Plus, bonus muscle of Dai Gao zheng! 😁😁😁Was this review helpful to you?
Passuon, Action and Betryal
This is one of the few short series I throughly enjoyed. I was hooked from the first episode. The Bodyguard-heiress troupe was indeed refreshing. You get story of betrayal by everyone around a vulnerable female lead. Lies and deceit overload by the characters. Each had an agenda and a plan. The plot was well done and the ML was sizzling hot. The passion between the leads was steamy. If you like a troupe with a macho, strong and intellgent ML who can fight to protect then this is your show. I recommend!Was this review helpful to you?
Good short romance
For a short drama, it is really good. The chemistry is 10/10. Of course the story plot is not perfect but it is very enjoyable and rewatch worthy for the chemistry. Chen fang tong and dai gao zheng can act and their chemistry feels real. Their acting is worthy for full length drama. The supporting actor and actress are also good. Another drama with chen fang tong and dai gao zheng, please. A full length drama! In the meantime I will rewatch this again and again. Especially their hot scene.. Adored it!
This was my first mini-drama, and it is the only one that has really stuck with me. The actors are wonderful, and I just love their chemistry. I thought the OST was great as well. While the plot is certainly a bit far-fetched (as most revenge dramas are), it moves quickly and was interesting. I watched this basically in one sitting because I just couldn't stop. I have also re-watched it when I'm in a rut because some scenes are just perfection. I hope these two leads do another drama together - I liked this one so much better than Maid's Revenge!Was this review helpful to you?
Sweet & steamy with a side of mystery
I would encourage everyone to watch this short series that is full of tension, mystery, fight scenes, and inevitable romance. The leads are overflowing with chemistry that leaps off the screen with steamy kisses. The ML starts off trying to gather proof to save the family honor, and ends up in a total lead different direction. The villain hides in the shadows and produces a lot of chaos. There are a lot of opportunities for backstabbing miscommunication that could have been cleared up if the leads actually communicated. In a Bored day
This mini drama is binged in a day, if you need to travel or pass the time stuck somewhere.It started off well, but then kinda got boring and so predictable.
The FL dressing was a little over the top for me, and she alway seemed so well made up in heels and all, who really runs around in heels to save the man you love.
The Ml was definitely good eye candy and he came off with a bit hardcore but in the end he went a little sappy on us.
The best friend holy man was totally wicked but she learnt her lesson.
Overall a time pass drama, episodes are short.

Enjoyable!Don't forget to remove your brain before jumping in. Good for viewers who want to sit back, relax, and be entertained by romance full of visuals and chemistry.

PS. FL reminds me a bit of Jang Nara. I didn't find ML good looking at first but he grew on me eventually.

probably wouldn’t rewatch, but not a bad drama
loved the chemistry between the two mains, plenty of drama of course, didn’t love the push and pull (it was a little excessive to be honest), in terms of music i liked the like one singular song that played throughout the dramatic parts of the show it got stuck in my head often, i really wish they had just made this into like a movie or something instead of making 10 minute episodes, FL could be a little annoying, but still loved how the actress did i cant imagine how difficult it must have been to keep her eyes so still when she can see in real life, yeah it’s a bit cringey and cliche, but still a cute show and had really cute kiss scenes. still a little confused about the end and the end seemed a bit rushed but oh well it was a short drama so i didn’t expect it to be super in depthWas this review helpful to you?

Drama corto pero entretenido.Los protas me encantaron, se veían muy bien juntos, me encantó su química. Se nota la confianza que tienen como actores por haber trabajado en un drama anteriormente, realmente se ve un trabajo cómodo entre ellos.
Lamentablemente creo que se alargó mucho la trama, muy repetitivo, muchas elipsis, siento que faltó más desarrollo, todo muy apresurado, siendo una trama tan simple creo que no fue tan bien llevaba.
Muchos episodios y demasiado cortos, hubiera estado mejor unos 40 minutos por episodio y así llevar la trama a un ritmo menos atropellado!
Personajes secundarios desaprovechados.
Pero, a pesar de todo lo anterior, es bastante entretenido y disfrutable, te lo ves en una tarde, si tienes tiempo libre, sí lo recomiendo para pasar el rato con algo simple y rápido de ver.

Intense action pack with a touch of romance drama!!!
Wasn't actually expecting since this is just a mini drama but this is actually quite good. The actions scenes are a bit intense makes me want to fast forward it due to anticipation. The plot is about people fighting over money and power with a backstory which I kinda like. ML is really handsome and good with actions scenes a knight in shining armor indeed while FL is pretty suits her title as a heiress but she's too weak doesn't have any character development until the end she's still a damsel in distress not the ideal fl. Kinda tired with the plot revolving with multiple lies can't blame the FL is she's gonna have a trust issue even with her ML their relationship is push and pull one time their okay seconds after they quarrel lol. Female villain is too weak as well didn't even get to my nerves unlike the male villain. Ending is too short for me they could've give a snippet of FL and ML relationship improvements.Was this review helpful to you?
Villainous behaviour
I've watched a few Chinese dramas and many were from this company.I liked the female lead's portrayal as a blind person. I thought it was realistic - so well done. From some angles, the male lead looked like Ji Chang Wook and, initially, I wondered if he had a younger brother who was a star in China 🙄
All the actors were good - leads and supports.
What I liked - the story was convoluted in parts, but OK. The villainous fiancé was hilarious (don't think he was meant to be!) - he was a caricature of all the villainous boyfriends in all the over the top stories. The duplicitous best friend was a nice touch too. The scene where Lin Xin Tong went into the bedroom was well done.
What I didn't like: Lin Xin Tong's childishness in the beginning. Some of the final scenes were silly.
I would recommend watching it, as it's a nice story with a bit of mystery, romance and comeuppance.
