Reviews
Love is worth fighting for and is too beautiful to be kept a secret
Replacing Chef Chico is delightfully serene. On the outside it just looks like a simple wrap but once you bite into it you’ll be hit by the burst of flavors. The way this series deals with serious issues in a calm and quiet manner is simply beautiful. This is an intricately woven tale with multiple heartwarming and empowering stories of customers all the while replacing the chef Chico. A well-written screenplay. Also Ella’s costumes deserves a special mention.
The acting is so good. I’m still not familiar with the names but everyone did well. Especially the actress who portrayed Wena is a scene stealer.
The soul of this series lies in the music. The songs, voices and lyrics are absolutely lovely.
The only issue I had with this is its incredibly short. Given a few more episodes it’d have delved deeply and would’ve been really wholesome. Romance felt a bit rushed.
Anyway love this mouth-watering, thought-provoking tale of love and life. Hope there’ll be a second season. Can’t wait to experience what Hain will bring to the table.

A Delightful Meal
This was a great, heartwarming series with a well written script. It did a successful job connecting various characters and their storylines together. I especially loved each costumer’s personal storyline that added more seasoning to the main storyline. This also gave just the right amount of background information of all the characters for an 8-episode series. In fact, this is one of the rare occasions when the story content is a good match for the number of episodes. The cast was great and did an excellent job with their characters. The cinematography, food visuals, and editing were incredible.Random Note:
There is a romance element to the main storyline, but it did not overpower the series.
I like that the series name has a double meaning.
Reasoning for the music rating. The background music and closing songs didn’t hurt the series, but it was not rememberable either.
