Introducing the "smallest" heroes in movie history... The blood cells! The human body contains an astounding 37 trillion cells. Red blood cells provide oxygen, white blood cells fight bacteria, and numerous other cells are constantly protecting our lives and well-being. Urushizaki Niko is a high school student who lives with her father, Shigeru. Niko has a serious personality and a healthy lifestyle; therefore, the cells in her body are always working happily. On the other hand, Shigeru spends his days erratically, which causes his body's cells to become tired of their working environment and complain constantly. They live a lively daily life as close father and daughter; however, the bacteria that are trying to invade their bodies begin to move... The greatest battle in history to take place inside the human body is about to begin, with the future of the Urushizaki at stake!
