it was a very beautiful start of the story
but im very disappointed with the last episodes...actually I can't understand the last two episodes, i guess im very invested in this drama that it stresses me out because the main lead deserve better ending... yeah the story maybe a little bit realistic and and somewhat traumatic at some point but well this is just a drama that's why we expected a better ending not something like this...
I'm just gonna watch other dramas of Chen Xing Xu to heal my broken heart 😮💨😭
I cannotttt accept the ending fr istg

Hurtfull
i get my membership here, so i can express my dissapointment for the ending, this is so messed up, the fight for love, ended with the same illness, really waste my time to watch 4 eps in a row, till 3.30 am. suddenly feel like a waste of time watching eps 1-34. the worst part is the end left hanging, make us guess, is it illness or just a fantasy. arghhhhhh, so frustated right now. remembering how the story ends. makes me search for explanation in the internet. and no one really knows the end. better just make zhizhi dead and qin fei can't move on, rather than makes us wonder what really happened. Was this review helpful to you?
Waste of time
The story started out fine but as the episodes progressed you find out that the ML issues goes much deeper and you know that at the end something terrible is going to happen. Watching the ML personality going from happy to an depressed state was hard to watch. The FL character was all over the place with her constant childish behavior was at time too much. The secondary couple and third couple was fun to watch. That being said the ending was just awful, 36 episodes and the audience got dooped at the end. The writers should have least give the audience closure by producing a body at the end.Was this review helpful to you?

Not nearly as bad as some people say.
The story isn't as convoluted as people were saying.I will say one thing, though. China has no idea how to portray mental illness. The ML has bouts of PTSD from a traumatic situation where he watched a child and his mother die and the writers are like "Oh, he has some weird hallucination thing. NO IDEA WHAT'S CAUSING IT! HERE TAKE ALL THESE PILLS AND STAY AWAY FROM THE FL FOR A BUNCH OF EPISODES TO CURE IT."
It's just convoluted and messed up that this is their take on mental health. If you can overcome that significant writing hurdle, then the show isn't all that bad. Pretty typical Chinese misunderstandings/relationship drama.

what happened to this freaking drama
I usually never finish dramas i didn't like but this one, I liked it until it let me down.even my rating, 5.0 were only carried by the good ost and my love for all the leads because I watched their dramas before.
honestly, this is 100% the director's/writer's fault, if they tweaked the last 2 episodes to have a proper ending this wouldn't be too bad.

What happened in this drama like whatttt?
Overall this drama was going on good pace but after 20 episode the write became phsyco like what man what you did is it so easy to break up is it easy to move on from the love is it easy???I am so pissed where ml goooo like wtf was the ending i am so confused they make a traumatic ending what happened in the last 2 episodes
it started out kind of predictable and I enjoyed the FL and ML first off but all of the off on off on between them got a bit tedious after a while. FL maintained a good acting style but the ML seemed to get faded out and by ep35 literally was gone. I enjoyed Zhan Yu Xi in South Wind Knows but the story line in this let her down. the other female lead and supporting actresses were all good as well....males were a bit wooden. The story line was quote disjointed, we never saw anything about the dance troop from when FL decided to save it from them winning the top awards???? also the annoying little brother, he added no value to any of the story lines at all. As I said the last 2 episodes seem to have just been a closeout as quickly as possible..with no story to it really other than at least 30 mins of dream sequences.

Stupid Ending
The casts are good from the leads to the supports. I love all of them. Lin Xin Yi is so cute. But the ending ruins the whole drama. Unbelievable!!! Ridiculous!!! So stupid!!!
Shi Ruo Min - the screenwriter - with 3 of his/her dramas: A Beautiful Lie, Love Is Panacea and The Song of Glory all have ridiculous endings. I will avoid to watch any drama from this screenwriter.

This could have been better
There were parts of this that I really enjoyed. Then there were other parts that were so inane. It was a mixed up mess in places, particularly at the end.Good: FL did not seem to fit the character, but grew on my. 2nd FL and both ML were really good as well as the other two couples.
Little brother was perfectly annoying as he should have been.
Sets were good and disaster sequence was also well done.
Chen was a great character and the actor was really on point with the reactions and emotions.
The little girl and her guardians were a delight. Auntie bickering in that voice. She is one of my favorite character actors.
Xiaojia character and sequences were very well done. Took me a couple of episodes to figure him out.
Bad: ongoing hallucination device became overdone and just irritating.
The music became irritating in the last half. It wasn't bad music, but using theme songs as plot devices is poor directing.
On and off and on and off. Romances were too melodramatic too often. The third couple were more straightforward until late and that was a new irritation the director/writer did not need.
The ending was an unfair, convoluted, without reason mess.
My main complaint is the story used mental health and the difficulties dealing with and the PTSD, though not named, was treated fairly well. It is a journey to overcome PTSD. One journey I've taken myself. Then in the last two episodes a sudden event? It cheapened the whole story line. And for no reason. I realize this is a book adaptation, but disappointing isnt a strong enough word. And the final scene, is it real or is it not? That was unfair to audiences. The last two episodes were just tacky and we got to see the bratty brother in trouble but not the baby?

Disappointed
The ending was a real disappointment. Very confusing. The first 3/4 of the drama was ok. I like the actors. The second and third couple were better than the main couple. I would not watch again or recommend as I felt I wasted hours of my life. I am ok not having a happy ending when I watch dramas but I hate when an ending makes no sense. Was this review helpful to you?

Waste of Time
Total waste of time. the actors had no chemistry. they used a child like a detective, the 2nd and 3rd lead's had little to no chemistry as well. Toxic relationships. The ending was total garbage this could have been just 24 episodes. It feels like the script got lost some child edited it and brought it back. The last 6 episode felt like filler episodes. Very poor it was an expensive waste of time and money. Was this review helpful to you?
Not sure how to feel about this drama
This drama started off well but it was quite draggy halfway through. I felt like the drama added elements to drag the story out to make it become 36 episodes at the end.I think it would have been better if this drama had less episodes and more concise storyline. I felt that this drama wanted to throw in different tropes to make this drama interesting.
The main couple had a lovable relationship. I think there were elements that made their relationship issue realistic but towards the end of the drama, it was heavily dramatisied. Like some of the plot in the later part of the drama felt like it was thrown in to lengthen the drama.
Also all the side characters had a story and it didn't overshadow the main couple. It felt purposeful. Though, with the second couple, their relationship and the reason why they separated for so long didn't seem like a good enough reason and didn't make any sense. It felt like they made something up on the spot and filmed on a whim probably thinking no one would care about a couple that wasn't the main couple.
In addition, I don't feel satisfied with the ending and the last two episodes were quite confusing. I watched until the end and I think this is due to watching it when it was still ongoing. I reckon if you watch this drama now that the drama is complete, the probability of dropping this drama is high.
This drama had good bones but the execution was disappointing. Overall, this is a good filler drama but I don't think it's binge worthy.
