Well it is similar both of them kinda deal with the mafia stuff and they don't seem to take themselves seriously unforgotten night is also I guess rated R since it deals with bdsm stuff and technically people either hated it or maybe some even loved it but nobody would ever recommend it so I guess since ai long nhai wasn't that good maybe if this isn't too it could have the same outcome as the unforgotten night people will forget about it or maybe remember it as soo bad that it's good kinda thing I guess they would

Both are about BL couple, when one of them is connecte to the mafia, and the other dosen't. I didn't see MDGO yet, just a trailer but it seems like MDGO is more easygoing while KP is darker, with more action and intimacy.

yet, I still find the both comprable.

Let me clarify first.

I am recommending Unknown not because of the ‘brotherhood theme’ not the ‘low social class’ things. Both definitely have different settings and I just want to highlight one thing which is the ‘gang’ or ‘mafia’ thingy.

We have Tew and Qian that works for this ‘gang’ to earn living and decided to stop. Why’s that? Let’s just say ‘FOR THE LOVE OF MY LIFE’. I believe the main purpose is to protect them.
And I really love both ‘gun scene’
We have Tew personally visiting the leader and challenged with this gun threat things.
On the other side, Qian’s one is that… legendary ‘touching’ scene whatsoever ^^

All in all I just love both scene so I would like to recommend this series as well~

Both of the series, the Main Leads are being played by Meen and Ping.
So if you want more of MeenPing watch the other one if you didn't already. ?

Both are Thai BLs about the relationship between a "bad" guy and a "good" guy with very different personalities and lives.

Once again they have the same main actors as the main couple, once again their characters are somewhat similar. Especially Mean’s characters this time. Both Mean’s character Thiu from my dear gangster oppa and his character now are both involved in illegal activities mixed with obvious action and both characters have a hard time getting out of their bad habits. Pings characters are just usually similar no matter what he’s acting in (out of these two’s 3 BL’s) they are usually naive and see the world as non harmful to himself, they also can react strongly towards Mean’s characters.
This is their second BL which is pretty different from their first one.

Similar because both have a main lead in a high position/job who is more experienced than the other lead. Both have a lead who is more nervous/sensitive than the other lead. Both have a dominating main lead who is powerful and is rich.

Both have a student and a mafia member falling for each other. (In My Dear Gangster it is a university student and in Kiseki it is a highschool student.)
The mafia members want to leave their groups and live a regular life with their love interests.

While there is some drama in both, My Dear Gangster Oppa is lighter in tone than Kiseki Dear To Me.

Kiseki was consistantly great while My Dear Gangster was fun through Ep 5 (out of 8), then it fell apart. My recommendation for My Dear Gangster is to watch Ep 1-4 then treat Ep 5 as a fluffy epilogue and stop at 38min.
