I have been excited for this series for months- and after the first episode I can safely say it was absolutely worth every single second I waited.
First of all, the acting is phenomenal. I feel like recently we have seen an increase of mediocre acting in the world of Thai BL, and this is my first YinWar series, so I wasn't completely sure what to expect. I'll start with War who, after watching the first episode, I am completely obsessed with. He has this way of portraying Joker's odd and questionable personality in such a realistic way. He doesn't overdo it or make himself act overly creepy the way I feel that many actors would in this role. He is able to show Joker's charming side (when with jack) but also the more disturbing part of him given the fact he seems to be a compulsive liar. War's acting seems so natural, and I genuinely cannot think of an actor who would be more suited for this role than he is. Especially during the bank robbery, the way War was able to show how effortless these crimes are to Joker is just so well done. I seriously have nothing but good things to say about him. I feel pretty much the exact same way as Yin. This first episode was pretty much an introduction to show Jack's villain origin story (which I loved- and I already adore Jack as a character.) I'm not sure what it is about him, but something about Yin is so perfect for the role of Jack. He is able to show Jack's selfless and fierce personality- but also adds a cute and lovable factor to him. I love how Jack is a character who does not give up on his dream and does absolutely anything to ensure the safety of his grandmother. Once again, Yin's acting is natural and there wasn't one scene I felt like his acting was "cringe" (which is very easy to do with these kinds of characters) On top of all of this, their chemistry is so good and convincing and every scene they were together in was so exciting and had me holding my breath.
The story is also something new and refreshing. I haven't seen a BL with this concept/storyline before which really draws me in. The first episode did a great job of introducing the characters, their motives, and their background. I am VERY excited to see where this show goes, and I'll update my review after I finish watching!

F*CK THE RATING, THE SERIES IS AMAZING!

One episode and I'm hooked, YinWar chemistry is incredible and sexual tension between Jack and Joke as well, there's comedy, action, family issues, poverty, corruption and more themes which we come across in reality. Yin's duality is awesome. Going from an innocent boy who was doing his best to repay for his parents' debt and take care of his grandmother changes to an aggressive cold-hearted debt collector who spares no one and War going from a selfish fraudster to the one trying to turn Jack into the kind heartwarming boy again and pay back for what he did to him, the plot is really entertaining.

well balanced sadness and happiness

Despite the compelling leading performance of the main characters. I love the plot of the story the overall concept is Interesting and unique. Even the chemistry between the actors is so electric and so natural.

The opening plot is fantastic. Not only it’s a mix of everything you love in action and real life experience, but it’s made it better and wants to know more. The chemistry between the two is amazing. The first meeting is well deserved and friendly

What excites me more is the fact that after watching the first episode you feel you know a lot but still you want to know more, the story is fantastic and well written, you cannot be disappointed.

However I don't like about cheating, mental health crisis, extortion, theft etc. which is portrait in the series but i think this is best party about this series its show about the real hard life people are going through in their daily life.

I would recommend this for anyone It's worth watching, and I hope it emboldens more action and love between the main characters I applaud the effort that went into this series, and am proud of YinWar for taking this project and trying something new it 10/10 for me.

The storyline and acting skill

This storyline is different from other BL that I ever watch since 2016. I love how every actors is giving their best skill in acting. I can see clearly how Joker feels through his eyes. Geez it just episode 1 and i can say that this series is worth it to watch. Well, if everyone think that this Joker is the same with Joker in movies or story that stole for the poor, i think Joker in this series is just a rebel kid cause of mis treatment from his father, so he show off himself with different yet little wrong way. But overall 10/10 for the acting and i really apreciate how YWPB makes this series with their own money and production.

The world has always been a place full of light and shadows. Regardless of the stage in human history, crises have often led us to think that we are living in the worst times. The Joker of the audiovisual of the Southeast Asian country is liked and exudes a controversial charm for the population in general and the LGBT+ community in particular. And this is basically due to two things, the first is that as a viewer we manage to empathize with the human being and not just with the character. It is not the first time that Joker, who perhaps represents that part of us that longs to break the rules and react, is represented on screen. We remember the character played by Jack Nicholson ('Batman', 1989 - Tim Burton), who brings us a gangster, that of Heath Ledger ('The Dark Knight', 2008 - Christopher Nolan), who gives us an agent of chaos, that of Jared Leto ('Suicide Squad', 2016 - David Ayer), a true sociopath, or that of Joaquin Phoenix ('Guazón', 2019 - Todd Phillips), who draws a famous crime clown and the most villainous multifaceted character of the world of comics, which transcends even the limits of his own personality and offers us a clear warning sign and a direct invitation to reflect on current societies.
However, the cunning Joker, played by the young Thai actor and musician War Wanarat Ratsameerat, remembered for playing Than in the short film 'Because I Love You' from the series 'The Right Man', in 2016, which marked his debut acting, he is a very human and vulnerable character, which is why we empathize so intensely with him. It is impossible not to put yourself in his shoes when you see how, upon discovering that his actions affect others, he without hesitation tries to correct them, even if this means admitting to his family his failure and true identity, as well as paying with years in prison.
Very plausible solution is how we can feel sympathy for a character who tries to outwit his authoritarian parents and a brother who seems to enjoy his failures as a student, and reveals himself to the shortcomings of a society incapable of assisting and giving an effective response to those who need it.
Despite coming from a privileged family, Joker suffers from a lack of affection. Unlike Jack, he does not find affection in his family life, and this has turned him into a lonely being, hungry and thirsty for love. However, we are not dealing with a person with antisocial or sociopathic personality disorder characterized by committing violent and bloodthirsty acts.
For his part, although he comes from a cosmos in which poverty, lack of material goods and the absence of his deceased parents prevail, Jack has a sweet and generous grandmother who understands and supports the young man in his daily conflicts. Much of Jack's sweetness and nobility, undoubtedly, comes from the upbringing given to him by this noble being.
Adrift from their lives, trying to find their place in the world, both of them, with such different and contrasting personalities, meet and their universes collide. And this serves to address other topics, such as memory, absence, maturity, the process of growing up, self-esteem, family expectations, the feeling of never being enough in the face of the complexity of life, discovery, acceptance, recognition…
'Jack & Joker U Steal My Heart!' It also stands out for reflecting the pressure cooker state of urban centers, and is an undisputed daughter of its time. That a stranger in a collar and tie robs a bank after being previously considered its manager, or that a young woman is chased by three violent thieves, portrays the convulsive city and its suffocating system.
The series also works in its effort to make queer people visible. Its creators know that the LGBT+ community is growing rapidly: one in six members of Generation Z in the United States identifies as part of this human group. The data also shows that LGBT+ audiences have an increasing need to see LGBT+ characters in series and films with which they feel identified.
In all this endeavor, War, in a monumental role, does not carry all the dramatic weight of the series. From the first minute, "Yin" Anan Wong, the Thai-Hong Kong actor who plays Jack, stands out in his role as a reasonable man who believes in solving problems without the use of force and has the conviction that "The strength one possesses should be used only to protect the weak," but as a debt collector he will have to impose an intimidating presence, far removed from his personality.
The chemistry between the two main actors goes beyond the physical realm, but is emotional, psychological and completely satisfying. It turns out that these two actors know each other well. They have been lovers in 'En of Love: Love Mechanics', 'En of Love: Tossara', 'En of Love: This is Love Story', all from 2020, and 'Love Mechanics' and 'Love Mechanics: Director's Cut', 2022, BL series in which War plays Mark and Yin plays Vee. They are also the protagonists of 'The Best Story' (2021), in which the former plays Best and the latter plays Dew.
Their performances, authentic, vivid, intense, are sublime as they masterfully embody the raw emotions and internal struggles of their characters through words, silences, looks...
Screenwriters Myminorh Sarun Kaensap ('Peaceful Property', 2024), Pacharawan Chaipuwarat ('Shadow', 2023), Yui Athima Iamathikhom ('Wannabe', 2022), and Anawat Kitchawengkul ('GGEZ', 2018), combine perfectly the genres of action, romance, crime and drama, to deliver a coherent, complex and uncomfortable story that works as a great mirror of contemporary society.
On a technical level, it is important to highlight that the series has an impeccable setting, raw photography and a beautiful soundtrack that take the viewer through sensations and moments that make this a journey into the depths of human despair and the need to stay afloat, especially thanks to love and nobility.
With a masterful performance, a forceful script and a clear social discourse, 'Jack & Joker U Steal My Heart!' it's not just a boy's love story. It is a necessary work to understand that today there are issues that cannot be ignored. Violence, political corruption, social class contradictions, poverty, and evil have origins that must be faced and despite how dark the present may seem, crises do not last forever. Better times will always come, if people like Jack and Joker come together to do the right thing.

Já estou morrendo de saudades da série. Entregou tudo!! O último episódio foi perfeito, com reviravoltas inesperadas. Somente Tattoo para conseguir levar um tiro no bumbum deitado e Sorry ganhou um novo significado para mim 55555. Só tenho a agradecer a YinWar por acreditarem e investirem na série, que me fez amar e aguardar ansiosamente pelas segundas-feiras!!! A história é cativante e te prende desde o primeiro episódio porque soube dosar na medida certa comédia, ação, drama e romance. A produção é impecável. A química entre Yin e War é inegável. Todo o elenco teve uma atuação irrepreensível, mas quero destacar Suporn Sangkaphibal, a avó do Jack, uma das responsáveis por todas as minhas risadas e pelas cenas mais inesperadas e a pequena grande Taengkwa Chananticha Chaipa, Toi Ting, que deu um show de interpretação. Já estou aguardando pelo menos mais duas sequências: a história de Tattoo e Aran e a história de Hope e Save!!!!

Sem atalhos e Sem pressa e o BL Entregou Tudo

Essa série tem praticamente tudo, para ser sincero, há ação, drama e romance com um enredo provocativo. Os personagens também são bem desenvolvidos, a história é interessante e os visuais são realmente bonitos de se ver. Além disso, não foge muito das questões do mundo real, então se você está cansado de romances e quer algo novo, adicione-o à sua lista.

Cinematografia:

Na minha opinião, a série é impressionante aos olhos, o que é um feito raro em dramas BL, mas aqui, a cinematografia captura a opulência brilhante e superficial dos ricos com as realidades cruas da pobreza muito bem.

Sem atalhos e Sem pressa:
Quando ele deixou de lado aquela raiva ao perdoar Joker, ele começou a se encontrar novamente e a maneira como a amizade deles reacendeu tão lentamente, tão naturalmente foi o que a tornou ainda mais poderosa. Não houve pressa, nem atalhos, apenas uma lenta reconstrução da confiança. Observá-los se apaixonando, pedaço por pedaço, momento a momento, foi muito gratificante depois de todas as emoções que passei com esse show. No final, acho que foi mais uma questão de cura do que apenas de amor. Eles se tornaram o porto seguro um do outro.

O BL terminou do jeito que estava imaginando e atendeu minhas expectativas. Alguns pontos das histórias mereciam um olhar mais cauteloso, considerando o todo, foi maravilhosa.

Precisavamos disso!

Finalmente senti algo novo, que estava faltando. Humor e ação, é ótimo sair da bolha do colegial e do fofinho para as situações trágicas e letais.

Os personagens são bastante amáveis e engraçados, as situações que a guangue se encontra é sempre surpreendente, essa mistura de humor com algo parecido a "assalto ao banco" traz uma boa dose de suspense.

O modo como retratam Joke como alguém que sempre busca o perdão e as desculpas, é algo bem humano (mas estou pronto para ver o Wanarat em outros papéis), sinto que isso fez ele ser bem aprofundado. No entanto, Jack ser explosivo e colérico, trás uma boa perspectiva de diferentes personalidades, isso enquanto ele ainda é doce.

Khun Rose faz um ótimo papel, trazendo profundidade no relacionamento entre Jack e Joker, e, principalmente, dela com Jack. Hoy e Tatto são super engraçados e cômicos, trazendo um alívio cômico que necessitava. (Apenas senti falta do racionamento desenvolvido de Tatto e Arun).

A jogada do plot-twist foi bem pensado, sinto que talvez tenha sido muito, mas trouxe um bom resultado no final.

O romance realmente tenha sido pouco, mas tenho uma opinião impopular. O romance nem sempre resume-se à beijo e outras coisas, pare para pensar que tudo que Jack e Joker fizeram por eles, foi por amor. Precisamos sair dessse estereótipo de um romance doce e pegajoso.
