Not the strongest start.

To be honest I'm quite confused with when the beginning stuff of the episode took place, to how much time has passed. So that's my first big gripe.

The second is that the camera shots are ambitious, but . . . cheap? Tacky? Something seems off about the filming of this first episode. Along with the fact that some of the acting is super cheesy. Even for a drama.

However, it's pretty fun. Doo Rim is going to be a strong female lead and I just can't help but loving them when I stumble across them in dramas. It's already clear that Lee Hong Ki is beyond ready to shed those silly boy roles he always has. Oh, he is great as Choi Kang Joo the cold and aloof lead, with serious smarts and sadly no people skills. Fans can be happy with his leading role debut.

Even with the initial cheesy acting and bumpy start things are setup quite nicely for how events fall into place. And having already season episode 2 and having things turn out much more polished, things to get better.

It's fun!

I never imagined Lee Hong Ki to be like that...

Seriously, I was a bit confused as to the events happening, there seems to be a lot of mysteries going on...I turned on my lee hong ki radar and when I first saw him, I was like, HE CAN'T BE THIS CRUEL & HOT! Yes, I was really surprised at the shift of image. While he was acting all cute as Jeremy, he was suddenly the cold jerk as Kang Joo. I'm looking forward to the next and coming episodes!
