nice drama to watch
This is my first modern Korean drama and I'm impressed because I didn't expect to like it...The story is not new, but quite nicely written, although there were moments in the plot when I didn't know what it was about... in general, it's a pity that the drama is not available on YouTube with automatic translation into various languages, because I was struggling with the English one and maybe that's why some of the threads were unclear to me...
It's a kind of romance with funny, but also dramatic twists.... love turned into a deep feeling by accident, but it was interrupted by a 3-year separation... I didn't understand it at all... ok, Lee Gun's illness was mentioned, but he she was behaving strangely... because when he finally started to develop feelings for Kim Mi Young and first adored her, and then suddenly broke up in such a hopeless way that he contributed to a car accident and the loss of a child... then the action moves 3 years ago forward and they meet again... she is already a famous cartoonist, and he continues his work and is the president of a large company... when he finds out that she is back, he chases after her again and does everything to get her attention, and again he does something so senseless that he suddenly hurts her so painfully and disgusts her... I don't understand it at all... if he knew that he couldn't be with her due to her illness, why does he encourage her and incite mutual feelings... very strange... however, the ending is happy, which I'm glad about, because I don't like tragic endings, especially when the main leads go through so many difficulties and traumatic experiences.
I really liked the main actors, there was a nice chemistry between them - great.... one of the writers accused that the bangs didn't suit ML, but I personally liked it because it fit Lee Gun's character and behavior at the beginning of the episodes and this laughter was also ok at the beginning, but then when they got back together, he actually used this laughter too much, although it was explained at the end why - because of his father, who gave him a message to smile often in life even in difficult situations moments...
Nice role played by Jan Na Ra... she was able to show emotions nicely... I also loved Lee Gun's grandmother, who had a distance to all matters.
OST - it was quite nice, especially the song Good Bye My Love
I recommend

GOOD TILL EPI 16
the show is good until episode 16, after that it drags and the characters become almost unbearable. It still has some decent moments but rare and few. my advice watch it till episode 16 and consider it the end. would have loved if they did not went full cliche and ruin the charactere by making them act too foolish. they took decent characters and just buchered them for the sake of making the show run a little longer but no real help to the story where they could have nicely wrap the story in one or 2 episode max and save the show. Was this review helpful to you?

So giving people ruffies is funny and romantic... only thing worse is that laugh.
There were some nice moments, but hard to take seriously with that constant obnoxious laugh, and the ruffies bookending the story like it was a good thing. Just awful. Also, too long with too many cliches. I did like how the family treated younger brother after it turned out that he wasn't actually related. All those negatives just overshadowed the good parts too much for me. I do like the Ellie Kim bags though. And the music wasn't bad.okay, now the app is forcing me to write a longer review but I've already spent too much time on this show, so moving on to the next drama!

I really tried to like it
Even after about 10 episodes I could neither stand nor ignore the ML's weird "evil" muauaua laugh. Nothing against the actor, but I don't understand why he was given such an off putting laugh? It made me dislike him immensely to the point that I started to dislike all his mannerisms. When the ML was "normal" and loving he was great, but with 20 episodes, 'that' was far and few in between. Would I give this story another shot? NOOOO. I should have given up sooner and spared myself the irritation. Was this review helpful to you?
Knocked Up Human Doormat
Have you ever wanted the female human doormat character to just die so you could watch a drama? Well, no human doormat character could sink as low as the one in this drama. She has no redeeming qualities, and lets her jellyfish self get dragged around to the point of being knocked up by drunken accident. She can't speak for herself till halfway through the drama, but by then, she is just a dishrag of a character with no redeeming qualities.
The ML is no angel, and his unfaithfulness despite supposedly being madly in love with his girlfriend, shows his weakness of character, but he was at least written as a rounded character, and played by one of the best South Korean actors. The SML is a very likeable, and perfectly cast.
To watch two of the most gorgeous men in South Korea fight over the human doormat of a FL was too much for me to handle. I've tried to like this drama enough to finish it. I wanted to like this drama because I loved the male characters, and the idea of the plot was interesting enough. But the FL kept getting in the way for me. She couldn't even stay standing upright without someone's help.

After watching a quarter of the drama, I was not motivated to watch it for a few reasons: mainly, the ML's annoying fake laughter and secondly, the FL's sickly-looking character. The over-the-top antics of the villagers and the one-dimension caricatures in the drama did not aid in supporting my need to watch this drama. Then knowing there was all the ill-fated and illogical coincidences, ML losing memories, FL losing baby, SFL losing her man, SML losing his love, really did not entice me to continue.
