Romcom Legend
This drama is my first romcom drama that I watch involuntary. Till this day no rom com can exceed this legendary drama tbh. The way romantic and comedy keep balance throughout drama makes it legend. The writer can write real situation that might happen somewhere in someone's family and combine it with comedic and emotional scenes that are pleasing to watch. I wish I could tell how much I love this drama and how the writer make me flutters with Gong Gi Tae and Jo Jang Mi agenda. Even though i watched it couple times i keep flutter and laugh each time. Was this review helpful to you?

Chemistry FTW
Loved this drama so much! Both leads are superb. Acting-wise they're magnificent. From comedy to tears, they've got the whole spectrum down! Also, their chemistry is amazing. But, for me, the best part was how real, playful and intimate their relationship was. They were so believable! I would totally believe it if someone told me they were also a couple in real life. There were hugs, tickles and lots of little affectionate touches, which is so not norm when it comes to k-dramas. I'm so used to leads being bashful and shy around each-other, that the relationship portrayal here completely blew me away! Loved it.The supporting characters were also all very good (so many talented people!), and the subplots all end up making the story so much richer and real.
This one is definitely worth watching.

Story : it is good but not the best.
Acting:
Yeon Woo Jin oh my god i love him. and now i m going to watch his other dramas.
i must say Han Groo (Joo Jang Mi) is improving in every episode.
every character done their best i hate Gong Ki Tae's dad most.... :) but he act well.

The negatives first- Most of the characters are either extremely irritating or just really boring. The second male lead was just boring and I’m tired of pointless love triangles that make no sense. I actually enjoyed the main couple I didn’t need this boring other guy pining over this psycho woman- like dude I get it I love her too- but it added nothing to the story and I didn’t like them as a ship. The second female lead was also really weird??? She had major baby fever and I also get that but there are many ways to get a baby idk why she was so adamant on having one with the male lead. She was just a boring character who also didn’t add anything. And then there was the female leads ex who was just an annoying prick most of the time.
And now to the negatives- THIS SHOW IS SO FUN AND WACKY LIKE ?? it’s actually SOO campy and zany so if that’s not your type of humor you’re probably not going to like this. There’s lots of physical humor and Han Groo commits so fully to all of it like her character is this constantly emotionally involved, really sweet character who’s constantly drinking and trying to get involved with everyone’s business (cause she cares) and she plays into it SO WELL. Jangmi is so INSANE and I love how Han Groo plays her like I adore this psycho so much. And her and the male lead are actually so cute! I love a good old fake relationship and these two play into that trope in such a fun way. It’s your typical, they bicker all the time but the more they hang out with each other they more they understand and empathize with one another and then they fall in love ofc and they’re actually so cute. I love their bickering and chemistry and idk they really made the show I loved watching them fall in love. The male lead is your regular arrogant male lead idiot and I wasn’t crazy about his character but he was a good match for Jangmi and all her chaotic energy as this guy who likes to think he’s got it all together but in actuality he’s just as insane.
But as cute as this show is, my favorite thing about this show is the queen herself Kim Haesook, who plays the male leads mom. She’s knees deep in marital trouble of her own and Jangmi with all her good intentions is always trying to help out while Kim Haesook just stares at her like ok girl ?. But as the show goes on ofc the two start to bond and genuinely their relationship is SO SWEET. I loved seeing the two of them grow closer and Kim Haesooks character start to accept Jangmi. Augh, it was just a lot.
Overall, there’s a lot of weak elements to the show, but the leads slay, the romance is cute, and Kim Haesook steals the show as always <33 I had a really fun time with this show but it is REALLY campy so it’s def not for everyone

So cute
I got to this off a recommendation from another show. What a lovely show. Sometimes k-dramas starts off joking amd comical only to end up serious and drama-like. This one is not like that, laughter throughout the episodes. The fl got on my nerves in the beginning, until i realize she might have been the one most intouch with what she wanted. The drinking waa a bit disturbing... she might need help in the long run, but the show was really bubbly and upbeat.I enjoyed 1 song, whenever i heard "Just imagine" i start swaying.
I will rewatch this as i find both ml attractive ?

Deceit & scheming - what a mess!
Fake relationship and contract marriages are my favourite tropes. I was intrigued by this drama after reading many positive reviews on MDL. Boy was I disappointed! I couldn't stand the immature behaviour so I dropped this series after episode 10.What I liked:
1. The cooking - I like cooking & food scenes from quatro cheese kimchi to samgyetang and fried chicken.
2. Yeo Reum - he has great body and smile. Despite the lie at the start, I liked his character the most. He always thought of Jang Mi's welfare.
3. Jang Mi's kindness.
What I disliked
1. Jang Mi's characterisation - she's too nice until people took advantage of her (Hoon Dong, Gi Tae, Gi Tae's mum, Hyun Hee). Girl, it's OK to decline phone calls especially when you are in loo.
2. Gi Tae's characterisation - he's bland for a male lead. I dislike him for berating Jang Mi whenever she was in trouble even when she was locked in his building.
3. Every character, from Gi Tae' s family to second & third leads, is deceitful and always scheming. The only ok character is Jang Mi's father.
4. Childish behaviour - I stopped after 20 minutes of episode 10 because Jang Mi & Gi Tae still avoided each other. Too much push even when halfway though the series.
Favourite scene
When Jang Mi saved Hoon Dong from embarrassment at the auction

Ive seen alot of asian drama with this scenario woman or men and they have someone they like on the side but they never doing anything with the side person with this movie she making out with this guy . sorry i will not recommend movie to anyone or even watch it again .Was this review helpful to you?
