Former SF9's Ro Woon to reportedly replace Chae Jong Hyeop in the upcoming K-drama 'Shining'
After brilliantly portraying the role of a mistress in Red Swan, Ki Eun Se is joining a new K-drama genre for 2025.
Multiple media outlets reported on January 22 that Ki Eun Se will be added to the cast of the upcoming comedy sitcom K-drama Kick Kick Kick Kick.
Her follow-up K-drama project will be Kick Kick Kick Kick after the successful 2024 Disney+ series Red Swan with Kim Ha Neul, Rain, Jung Gyu Woon, Seo Yi Sook, Yoon Je Moon, and more. Last year, Ki Eun Se was praised not only for her acting but also for her fashion sense.
After Kick Kick Kick Kick, Ki Eun Se will return to the romance genre with the upcoming K-drama Okay, Let's Get a Divorce. She will work alongside Lee Min Jung, Kim Ji Suk, Goo Sung Hwan, Lee Hyun Jin, and Wang Bit Na.
Ki Eun Se is known for being part of the K-dramas Now, We Are Breaking Up, Racket Boys, River Where the Moon Rises, The Penthouse: War in Life, and more.
Kick Kick Kick Kick will be led by Ji Jin Hee, Lee Kyu Hyung, Baek Ji Won, Lee Min Jae, Jeong Han Seol, and Baek Sun Ho.
The comedy sitcom K-drama will showcase the story of a has-been actor turned entertainment producer establishing and running a new content production company.
Director Goo Sung Joon who also worked for the variety shows Hello Counselor Season 1, Cool Kiz on the Block, and the 2023 K-drama Brain Works will helm the new series. He will work with writers Jung Soo Hyun, Nam Jin Kyung, and Jung Hae Young to give life to the K-drama. KBS, DK E&M, and Ikkle Studio will produce it.
In the K-drama, Ki Eun Se will portray the role of a mysterious woman with a secret.
Kick Kick Kick Kick will begin airing on February 5. It will exclusively air on KBS.
