"Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" Premiers on Netflix, "Reborn Rich" Gets Steady Viewership

The much-awaited K-drama "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" premiered on tvN and Netflix on 10 December. The series secured an average nationwide rating of 6.71% for its first episode. 

This is an impressive start considering the drama's highest rating for season 1 was 9.29%. However, unlike part 1 - which contained 20 episodes - part 2 is reported to air only ten episodes over the month. The K-drama has retained most of its cast from the first season. Except, we will now see Go Yoon Jung playing the role of Naksu - which was originally played by Jung So Min in season 1.

The drama airs every Saturday and Sunday. It is available to stream on Netflix. 

Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki's  "Reborn Rich" gained nationwide ratings of 16.99% and 18.33% for its 9th and 10th episodes respectively. Last week, the show got its highest rating of all time - 19.44%. 

The K-drama commenced with a single-digit rating of 6.05% and soared to a double-digit rating on its 3rd episode. Since then, it has only attained surging viewership.

"Reborn Rich" airs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and streams on Viki. 

The SBS drama "The First Responders'' gained a nationwide viewership of 8.2% for both its 9th and 10th episodes. The K-drama observed a 0.2% drop since its 7th episode that aired last week (3 December). The average rating of the K-drama for this week is 8.2% as well.

The series premiered with a rating of 7.6% and steadily gained more audience over the weeks. The highest rating of the drama is 9.4%
