The upcoming movie "Hostage: Missing Celebrity" starring Hwang Jung Min releases a new trailer and poster.
On June 18th, the upcoming action-thriller film unveils a new poster and trailer. It was confirmed that "Hostage: Missing Celebrity" will make its premiere this coming August through the details in the newly released poster.
"Hostage: Missing Celebrity" will showcase how Korea’s top movie star will try to escape from his brutal kidnappers. Hwang Jung Min’s character, Jeong Min got kidnapped after attending a VIP movie premiere. At first, he thought the strangers were just playing pranks on him. He then realizes that it's not the case with the cruelty he experienced with the kidnappers. The brutality he experiences will be far extreme than those he usually sees in movies.
Other cast members of the film include Shin Hyun Jong, Lee Ho Jung, Kang Deok Joong, Han Kyu Won, Ji Nam Hyuk, and more.
"Hostage: Missing Celebrity" will be the debut work of director Pil Gam Seong.
Hwang Jung Min previously starred in the 2020 movie "Deliver Us From Evil" together with Lee Jung Jae and Park Jung Min. He will also appear in several movies such as "Return" and "The Point Men." The actor is known for starring in several block buster Korean movies such as "The Wailing," "Veteran," "Ode To My Father," and many more.
The veteran actor returned to the small screen after 8 years through the 2020 JTBC drama "Hush" with Girls Generation's Im Yoon Ah. Hwang Jung Min will also star in an upcoming Netflix original series titled "Suriname" with Ha Jung Woo, Park Hae Soo, Jo Woo Jin, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Choo Ja Hyun.
