Im Shi Wan and Son Hyun Joo will reportedly work together for an upcoming series!
On March 26, media outlets shared that Im Shi Wan and Son Hyun Joo will be the main leads for the upcoming wavve original series "Tracer."
Representatives of the two actors responded to the news and stated that they are still reviewing the casting offer and nothing has been decided yet.
"Tracer" will be a collaboration work of "Voice 2" PD, Lee Seung Young and writer Kim Hyun Jung. The series will be produced by CreveWorks and it will be available on the online platform Wavve.
If Im Shi Wan accepts the role, he will play Hwang Dong Ju, the head of Seoul Metropolitan Government's Investigation Bureau 2. He has a sly and gentle personality, although he is also good at speaking ill of others and being sarcastic.
Idol actor Im Shi Wan last appeared in the 2020 tvN drama "Run On" with Shin Se Kyung. Aside from "Tracer," he also received an offer to be part of the OCN drama "Island: Season 1" with Seo Ye Ji, Kim Nam Gil, and Cha Eun Woo. He's also in the upcoming movies "Emergency Declaration," and "Smartphone."
Son Hyun Joo was offered the role of In Tae Joon in "Tracer." In Tae Joon is a former director of the investigation bureau at the main office of the National Tax Service. He is the current head of the Seoul Regional Tax Office. He always maintains a confident and noble attitude.
The last drama Son Hyun Joo was in was 2020's "The Good Detective." He was also part of "Itaewon Class" as Park Seo Joon's father.
