Jeon Sung Woo is set to reunite with Kim Nam Gil in the upcoming new season of The Fiery Priest.
On October 28, it was officially confirmed that actor Jeon Sung Woo is returning as Priest Han Sung Kyu in the upcoming K-drama The Fiery Priest Season 2.
This will be his second K-drama for the year. Early this year, he also appeared in the Netflix original K-drama Goodbye Earth which was led by Ahn Eun Jin, Yoo Ah In, Kim Yoon Hye, Seo Ye Hwa, and Yoon Seo Ah.
Jeon Sung Woo became more known after he starred in the first season of The Fiery Priest. Many praised his chemistry with Kim Nam Gil and Baek Ji Won in the series.
The actor has starred in several works such as The First Responders Season 2, Homemade Love Story, Diary of a Prosecutor, Designated Survivor: 60 Days, The Point Men, and more.
The Fiery Priest Season 2 will be led by Kim Nam Gil, Lee Ha Nee, Kim Sung Kyun, Sung Joon, Seo Hyun Woo, BIBI, and more.
The K-drama will continue to showcase the journey of a hot-tempered Catholic priest Kim Hae Il, Gudam Police Station detective Goo Dae Young, and the smart and beautiful Prosecutor Park Kyung Sun who will continue to work together for an investigation. This time, they are headed to Busan to go against the country's top drug cartel.
The upcoming K-drama will be directed by Park Bo Ram and writer Park Jae Bum, the same duo that worked for the first season. Studio S, Big Ocean ENM, Red Nine Pictures, and Gil Story ENT will produce the upcoming series.
Jeon Sung Woo will continue to portray his role as priest Han Sung Kyu who is Kim Nam Gil's character Kim Hae Il's reliable ally.
The Fiery Priest Season 2 will premiere on November 8 at 10 PM KST. It will exclusively air on SBS. It will have a total of 12 episodes.
