The upcoming JTBC drama "The Empire of Law" starring Kim Sun Ah and Ahn Jae Wook will officially premiere!
On September 1st, JTBC released teaser photos of the two main leads Kim Sun Ah and Ahn Jae Wook. Through the poster, it was also confirmed that the law melodrama will premiere on September 24th.
The teaser photo showcased Kim Sun Ah's character Han Hye Ryul, who exudes a different aura with just a simple dress and accessories. She was seen applying lipstick while looking in the mirror noticing something that was invading her privacy. In the teaser, a caption stated, "Can I Handle You?"
In another teaser, Ahn Jae Wook's character was highlighted. He is the husband of Han Hye Ryul named Na Geun Woo. He is a law school professor who is not afraid to show his desires. In the teaser, Na Geun Woo is seen touched by another woman. In the caption, it stated, "I just want to live as your dependent variable" raising more questions about the drama.
"The Empire of Law" will be directed by Yoo Hyun Ki and the script will be written by Oh Ga Kyu. The drama will depict the vulgar scandals of Korea's judicial and administrative nobles who dream of hereditary succession.
Aside from Kim Sun Ah and Ahn Jae Wook, Lee Mi Sook, Song Young Chang, Shin Goo, and Oh Hyun Kyung will be part of the cast.
"The Empire of Law" will air its first episode on September 24th at 10:30 PM KST. It will exclusively air on JTBC.
This drama will be the comeback of Kim Sun Ah to the small screen after three years. She last starred in the series "Secret Boutique." The top actress is known for being part of the dramas "Children of Nobody," "Woman of Dignity," "Scent of a Woman," "My Lovely Sam Soon," and more.
