The highly-anticipated SBS drama Revenant premiered on June 23 with ratings of 9.9% (nationwide) and 10.8% (metropolitan), marking a promising start to the supernatural series. Revenant tells the story of Ku San Young, a woman whose ordinary life takes a drastic turn when she comes by an heirloom left behind by her father and becomes possessed by an evil spirit, and Yeom Hae Sang, a folklore professor helping San Young using his ability to see the supernatural entities.
